Notonly ordinary talks tanked dollar, there are many effects that provoked this tank and Trump's speach was just at the same time. I don't believe if he would speak about bitcoin it would affect on it's price anyhow.

Just because he's the US president and is "required" by the international community to have an opinion on everything, it doesn't mean his opinion or stance on something is more valid than any other world leader or even any other person in the world. Things would be bad if the market decides it wants it to be hard...

Depends if the announcement itself was something that would have long-term repercussions.  If he was saying that Bitcoin is useless and he doesn't like it for whatever reason, the market would forget the news quickly.

If he was saying he was going to treat Bitcoin as a Ponzi scheme or make it illegal in the US, it would be permanent and have lasting impacts.  So basically it all depends on what he had to say.  Not that I think he would consider an announcement about Bitcoin to be relevant enough for something as publicly accessed as a tweet.

He is really unpredictable and he is the first president who is exactly like the price of bitcoin  you never know what is going to happen and there will be mood swings every now and then. Donald Trump is really busy tanking some countries at the moment and i really doubt that he will focus his time on bitcoin and if his efforts continue like this we will be seeing another world war.

One thing I do wonder about though is whether his sheer impulsiveness will gradually blunt the effect of his pronouncements. It's one thing to tweet in capital letters about something he saw on the news a few minutes ago. It takes rather more effort to get it enacted.

Yes, but he wouldn't do it.  Bitcoin would barely even be on his radar what with skepticism from various people about his competency and his psychological need to post impulsive tweets about things that affect the country's economy more significantly.

The man holds the most powerful office in the world and I think he has a huge following to get the world excited and probably have his tweet talked about  all over social media platforms and news channels....if he were to declare his support for btc we could see prices surge tremendously.

Donald Trump can tank bitcoin or influence the flow of bitcoins market with just his words. Investors especially traders are very sensitive to such things as speech coming from Roger Ver, Jihan Wu and how much more if Trump will speak a promising statement on the use of bitcoin then you will see a pump on bitcoins price. It could be a temporary effect but there will be a pump on the price.

This is true and the man is a flop-haired cunt of the most severe stripe.  The stock market took a dump probably because Trump is trying to start fucking WW3 with the bombs and everything.  If anything, bitcoin ought to gain--if people think it's a viable currency that can hold value.  Like gold & silver.  But you are absolutely right.  Bitcoin is a global thing, and while Trump may be a powerful global force, bitcoin can withstand his motherf$$$$ng tweets.

In the end people wants a decentralized peer to peer digital currency not some fiat currency controlled by trump
