This is the most interesting. Why the democratic Republic of Korea is not democratic, and one of the most totalitarian, the Russians say that the world is ready to fight against fascism, but they built a fascist state.

But americans never really cared about collateral dmg (south korea, japan).
That is the reason why south koreans and japanese are really scared about the US going in solo.
Retaliation would hit the South and then Japan.

Nope. Saddam had limited options at his disposal. He was supported only by the Sunni Arabs, who constituted for less than 20% of the Iraqi population. His armed forces couldn't expand to more than half a million personal. Also, his army was well short of quality equipment, as unlike the North Koreans, the military technology in Iraq wasn't very advanced.
