I have been seeing Bitcoins' price rising with a stability in its growth, but due to the higher mining fee that is being levied on transactions these days, big businesses are now moving their funds towards alts and taking advantage with their least fees as well as shaping a completely new economy in the trends of altcoin markets. Do you think this may harm Bitcoin's dignity and open up a chance in real for alts to rise?
Chances of alts to rise is there but you don't have to worry about it as most of us are making bitcoin as our main crypto. And the whole market is centered for using bitcoin. What big businesses you are saying that move their bitcoins for alts? Most of the businesses will always remain with bitcoin they don't want to take the risk. |

So far, I haven't invested in anything yet, but I have a couple I've been watching very closely. |

I think it is impossible that those big business man out their money into alts, it is just like putting their money into very risk situation why? It iz because tgeir is such as stable coins other than bitcoin some were just bumping coin and dump later on.

Bitcoin is an early bird and it has succeeded in cornering almost all the worms, however since it is incapable of eating all the worms at once the birds that came later are sure going to help themselves to the loot, especially if Bitcoin is carefree not to fend off what it got or stamping its feet to assert its authority over its territory. By the way, the recent surge in the prices of most altcoins were indeed as a result of increase in demand for the altcoins, but I think those businesses were merely experiment just in case, Bitcoin started a free fall. |

I think no Altcoin can ever replace bitcoin.When bitcoin is on rise,there is a lot of congestion in network and people switch to Alts and that is the main reson their migratinf to Alts but if we solve this network congestion issue,Altcoins will not stand any chance to beat bitcoin. |

At this point, I'd definitely say diversify your cryptocurrency holdings and keep your fingers crossed. Bitcoin may stay on top, but that's not guaranteed and the current network congestion plus all this infighting over Bitcoin Core, SegWit and the latest thing that Roger Ver said is definitely not helping.

I think no Altcoin can ever replace bitcoin.When bitcoin is on rise,there is a lot of congestion in network and people switch to Alts and that is the main reson their migratinf to Alts but if we solve this network congestion issue,Altcoins will not stand any chance to beat bitcoin. Asking the real question here, how to solve this network congestion? as I've seen that this problem haven't resolved since many times ago and it's kinda serious problem for bitcoin, but, even if bitcoin having this problem, the users still stay regardless. Alt coin market is like a ocean ,you could see many potential coins as well as copy scripts and you will see the dump coins in the latter category .There are much better alternatives than bitcoin in terms of transaction fees and the speed of transfer but you cannot compare bitcoin and the rest when it comes to valuation. |

IMO, No alt have any chance within fews years.. just because of the name and changes needed..
Very few know Bitcoin, almost no one know about alts.. not us reading and writing here, I mean at the scale of all human on earth !
Anyway, I trust Bitcoin contributors !

Ofcourse few of the altcoins have probability to grow more in comparison of the bitcoin , Because they are giving more profit to hold then what we are getting in the bitcoin . But here we should keep in our mind that king of the virtual currency is only the bitcoin and without bitcoin nothing is possible for the most of the altcoins , it is because most of the altcoins are buyable through the bitcoin only . Here you can see the posw coin which is really growing with stability and also daily people are involving in the posw coin Because it has the future with POS wallet which is a growing exchange and the investors are increasing at this exchange also , so here it would be considered that fee of the altcoins are really at that position where they can beat the bitcoin in profit . |

Mark my words: The alts have NO chance. Even the founder (vitalik of eth) gives bitcoin higher priority. Dash, monero, etc, they won't last. |

It has a chance that one altcoin will go battle against bitcoins in cryptocurrency markets.Current big altcoins like eth ltc and dash has the chance now to go up against bitcoins if just this altcoins will have more support like bitcoin has at this state.

For alt coins replacing bitcoin chances are still small, bitcoin has been used in many places while alt coin only accepted in gambling site, so for temporary bitcoin will be undefeatable, but if bitcoin keep on continue charging high fee, then one day another alt will replacing it, but it will be a long road

One thing I learned about cryptocurrency (I think I did ) is that speculation is mostly a myth.
You can't really know what's gonna happen next.
I think other alt coins have chances of existing but only side by side with bitcoins.
The idea of totally replacing the father of all coins is a bit inapplicable.

No. Just no. Bitcoin is the first one and it has a lot of popularity than any other coin has or would probably have. The public doesn't like confusing things. If they get into bitcoins they will probably just stick to it. Other coins can just hope to increase in value (at least some ppl can earn some profits from it  . |

Bitcoin will always be the top cryptocurrency, alternatives are just copies of it or scamcoins. No altcoin will ever get past Bitcoin, even if it has some problems right now, but the problems will be fixed soon enough. No large company that accepts Bitcoin will ever accept some altcoin.
I agree. Alts are alts. They will always be just alternatives. Why are they forcing BU to be an alt. That is because of that. Nothing can be equal to bitcoin. They are just mimic of what bitcoin is now. They saw a large amount of profit with bitcoin that is why they are trying to copy it. I dont think there is anything else that could be really near to it even with just comparison. |

I do agree with you. Altcoins are just kinda like helpers for bitcoin to get or gain some investors or users because the altcoin market are very cheap and they help bitcoin by their market. i.e is when a person want to invest in altcoin then he would probably buy bitcoin which will help the bitcoin economy because of the supply that will be cut from the circulating supply and it will go to the market of altcoins which will do the same. So altcoins is just like a helper for bitcoin but impossible to overtake bitcoin. |

So far, I haven't invested in anything yet, but I have a couple I've been watching very closely. It's too expensive for now when you just entered bitcoin for a while. It's up to you if you haven't invested yet, because it's your responsibility to make sure about what you are doing. And for those that you are watching, what are those alt coins? I believe that no one can against on it because it's truly a very strong coin. |
