Bitcoin can be used for payments. There a service providers such as bitpay.
That is the big strength of bitcoin.
I do not know of a payment provider that would accept an altcoin.
And as long as that does not change, I do not see an altcoin overcome bitcoin.

Nah. I think no one can surpass bitcoin but it is possible if one of the altcoin have a wallet that can exchange into real money I think yes what I mean is if their wallet for that alt coin can exchange or transfer that coin into bank I think maybe, Because that is what bitcoin have that other didn't have the automatic exchange into fiat and transfer instant into the bank.

Chances to passes bitcoin is almost impossible to the alt coins the average rate is almost 100% for bitcoin and just 30% for the alt coin so almost impossible for the altcoins to surpass the bitcoin growth every year bitcoin price are just increasing rapidly and bitcoin user are increasing also but altcoins do have a average price also but not as good as bitcoin.

What you want is already available in many countries, they are called online wallets.
These type of wallets allow you link a bank account to the wallet so you can make deposits and withdrawals for buying and selling bitcoins, need cash then simply cash out what you need and it will be available in your bank account within a few days, the delay is on the banking side of the deal not bitcoin releated.
I never hold any coins in an online wallet and nor should anyone but i do use an online wallet (Coinjar) if I need cash. Rather than cashing out to a bank account and having to wait  i have a bitcoin debit card linked to the account so I can withdraw my bitcoins as local fiat cash anytime instantly from any ATM.

This is all bitcoin based but you can just use shapeshift.io to swap the altcoin first or some online wallets may even have this integrated by now.

Bitcoin continues to establish as a,strongest and the most valuable cryptocurrency. This hasn't come over knight and can't be replaced over knight but at the moment I also can't see that some other cryptocurrency has the potential to go through that way and take Bitcoin's position.
I wouldn't say it's impossibe but it will not happen for a long time.

I doubt that any of the currently existing altcoins have a really big chance to become more known and precious than bitcoin, maybe except Monero. This cryptocurrency is a really great tool for online payments, you can always stay safe, so if someone really needs that, then Monero is a best choice.

On the other hand, we need to see a growth of cryptocurrency community, and new people are probably not looking for anonymousness, but instead for speed of lightning, and very low fee costs.

I dont know any currency that could become better for that purpose than bitcoin for now

Altcoins are growing stronger and stronger than before, however, only really powerful altocoins are able to compete with bitcoin, as most altcoins are copied from bitcoin, but are used with a different name. . Only a few altcoins are fully developed. And those altcoins are really powerful, they have absolutely a chance to compete fairly with bitcoin. But bitcoin is really too powerful, it has taken over all other altcoins from the moment it is formed.

nothing impossible actually , but we have to admit that there is very little chance to make it happen. since bitcoin are the first established and the biggest cryptocurrency community around the world , it is feel like there must be a miracle to replace bitcoin .

i mean when there is something big happened to certain altcoin like when big company like google agree to start adopt certain altcoin or something like that.

define strong.
what you see is some trouble in bitcoin world that caused a lot of FUD and then as we all saw price was manipulated down to $880-$900 for a short term and panic spread throughout the market.
now altcoins used this situation and started their propaganda against bitcoin while pumping their price. but as we can see now, bitcoin is back to $1200+ and all those altcoins are declining day by day.

I don't want to speculate about chances of any altcoin to take the lead and become the number one cryptocurrency instead of BTC.
What I know is that altcoins developers already tried to compare their coins to bitcoin. The usual rhetoric they use:
bitcoin is slow, confirmations can take hours or even days, bitcoin is the most expensive cryptocurrency - standard tx fee is $0.50.
It is hard to argue with facts.

I have been seeing Bitcoins' price rising with a stability in its growth, but due to the higher mining fee that is being levied on transactions these days, big businesses are now moving their funds towards alts and taking advantage with their least fees as well as shaping a completely new economy in the trends of altcoin markets. Do you think this may harm Bitcoin's dignity and open up a chance in real for alts to rise?
Transaction fees is a great issue nowadays. Some people said that they could even use dash coin as its transaction is faster. But we would be too immature to think that bitcoin would be rejected for this factor alone and that alts would replace bitcoin. It would be a funny argument. Most of people, especially business people whi know abut bitcoin today, out of them not even 10% people would be knowing about altcoins. It is not an easy task for any altcoin to gain the trust which bitcoin has got.

I do not dare to make accurate predictions but I think the altcoin types have little chance of being able to overcome Bitcoin. Bitcoin is still dominating the electronic money world, despite the high volatility and higher operating costs but its value is still huge, many people are still using and exploiting Bitcoin. But that does not mean Bitcoin will not be overcome by other altcoin. At present, some potential altcoins such as Eth, Dash, Litecoin may be able to compete with Bitcoin.

I didn't see or read anywhere that big businesses are shifting their funds towards alt-coins.  Huh But alt-coin could have some bigger role in economy, like let's say theres an alt-coin made with sole purpose of paying really low costs like a few dollars and like that could be implemented in various businesses like coffee shops, but otherwise no, probably not.

Need some spare btc for a new PC that can at least run Adobe Dreamweaver.

bitcoin is reached to the point which is almost impossible for any altcoin to reach. it has a strong payroll system which i don't have seen by any other cryptocurrency. i think it is the only crytocurrency which is used as a payment purpose as long as it will not be overcome not any of the cryptocurrency will be able to replace it.

Bitcoin is dominating now among other crypto currencies and altcoins. But nobody knows what the future will bring to us. Bitcoin is not perfect if to think carefully, so, something like Bitcoin 2.0 or something else can simply replace it with necessary terms.

It costs more to engage in a transaction with bitcoin then it does with a credit card; why would anybody adopt bitcoin? The altcoins are so much cheaper to shop with so they may have a chance to be used more than bitcoin if this trend persists.
