Reasons of why bitcoin accepting shopping sites are not famous

The reason why a lot of shops on the internet aren't implementing bitcoins is mainly because it's price isn't stable and fiat $$ is what works in this world.

Some companies actually started solving this such as Bitpay which takes the bitcoins and sends cash to the companies. That's good.

Another reason for them not to accept btc directly is because it will need a team/staff to learn how to deal with it and how it works it might be simple in your eyes but it really isn't as in business you don't spend on something except it gets much more than what you spent.

I think companies will start implementing it one by one once they realize that it has a great buying potential.

Considering a number of bitcoin users and their behaviour which are mostly not so consumptive that majority of bitcoin users are only spending their money for investing or any financial things. They're probably really not attracted to implement bitcoin which is could be definitely wasting their resources and time for nothing, though, most of the online stores which sell such techy things like domain, VPS, and hosting are now starting to accept bitcoin widely.
In my opinion, those store aren't necessarily needed for fulfilling my real life expenses while there's bitcoin debit card existed.

Sites like Microsoft, Steam are already established players in the industry.

2. Shopping sites? Other than the need to have anonymity by not using credit/debit or fiat to avoid tracking of identities, for now, bitcoin transactions are too slow.

Say a site wants to have a sudden speed sale? It will turn into a slow sale by the time you confirm bitcoin payments with the huge mempool now.

Side note thought, the real bitcoin "shopping sites" are in the dark corner with all the mostly non legit services. Then again, I wouldnt really call those sites famous.

In my opinion bitcoin users like to spend their bitcoins on products of some specific categories and if a bitcoin accepting store have these products then advertising in a proper manner might make that shop a bit popular. When Steam and Fiverr started accepting bitcoins it was a big news because both of them are well established brands. Accepting bitcoin is not simply going to make a shop popular unless you have targeted products for the bitcoin users.

Slowly we are being accepted already and more people were adopting bitcoins, that is a big market for businesses who would
like to operate. As we can see the volume of transactions are increasing on a daily basis and we see as well how the price just rise.

I can attest to this. Most people I know who are utilizing bitcoins don't really buy anything for themselves online; they just blow it up on sports betting or online casinos in hopes of making it big somehow. Also, one of the reasons why these online shops are not so popular since most people still choose to go the way of credit cards which they are familiar with so as no to get screwed or be fcked up by doing the wrong things with bitcoins.

In my opinion it happens because bitcoin is pretty well-known, but not popular yet- not many people are using it even one time in a week, and we are talking about more common use, at least two days in a week I guess.
Also, the paypal transactions system is also a big competition for bitcoin, because we dont have to pay such a high fees lately, and most importantly you dont have to wait for 3 confirmations, as with blockchain.

I think that companies and stores which sell electronic and digital goods, should focus their marketing campaining mostly on bitcoin-related forum and sites, I think it might be a really wise idea if someone is accepting bitcoin as a payment method.

They were not that popular yet but soon online shops will adapt btc payment, today online shops offers cash on delivery payment thats why they are more accepted by many,thats why it is use more ,it also feature free shipping that is still not available thru btc.

A possible reason for this is that they do not prioritize the use of bitcoin as payment as of now. I think that they already thought about announcing their shop is already accepting bitcoin as payment. That is a basic marketing strategy. But if they do not prioritize that type of payment (via bitcoin) then they will not waste funds by having signature campaigns. They will just include in their website that they are accepting bitcoin or they will just include that detail in their banner or whatever.

I agree with your point they really need to promote their industry over the internet to show that they are accepting bitcoin like bitrefill is nowadays doing. Bitrefill is advertising everywhere their service with which it is doing double work one they are promoting bitcoin and the other they are getting much more clients to their service.

Most of the sites that i have seen do advertise on their checkout page that they accept bitcoin. They don't usually offer this method for getting more customers, but only as a form of convenience for people who might want to pay with bitcoin. In a lot of physical stores that accept bitcoins do show a bitcoin  logo at the door.

A sig campaign for advertising their sites or shops won't do any good though.

What specific bitcoin accepting shopping sites you are talking about? You won't noticed that if you don't have some list on hand.

All I can see most is, merchants accepting bitcoin but with the use of third party services and not with a direct payment of bitcoin. And for this kind of business, I don't think it's necessary for the owners to held some signature campaign here because shopping with bitcoin is a must and one of the favorite thing to do with the average numbers of bitcoin users. Customers will come automatically without grabbing them.

Maybe they can't afford to have that campaignnthat is why they are staying stagnant as they are right now. If they are not that popular, means maybe their items are not that popular to bitcoin users or their services are not that good. Because if that is really a good site, then there may be a lot of costumers there making a proof here or suggesting those sites.

This simply means that there are still lots of area for Bitcoin to cover to be able to be accepted in some famous sites.  These sites are advertising but due to the fact that the market is just booming, not all are aware of it.  But some business that had been around for sometime now are getting popular.  It will take time to be popular and not just overnight.
