I dont think can be good this 570 for some reasons:
- more higest price - same hash rate ? - no bios mod available - power comsume ? (i see 6+8 power connector, why need it ? require more energy? it is also difficult add extra connectors on mining rig)
Can be good only for down price of old 470

Could you please check power consumption on this card? The same or lower than 470?
Ive been waiting for months for these cards, but i can grab 480 pretty cheap atm! So im considering buying those instead if the power consumption is the same!

I checked on google it is same cpu of 470 but with more overclocked then it will drain more power, consider also nitro+ 470 have 8 pin power connector new 570 nitro+ have 8+6 pin connector (if require less power why need additional 6 pin ?)

I was under the impression that the rebranded polaris GPU was suppose to be more efficient!

Unless someone can get these to work on older drivers (in order to mod the bios) we may be looking at a ~24 Mh/s wall on these new 570s. Unless they are far more power efficient the 470 still looks like the best option of the two (by a fair bit).

Still only 22mh i'm disappointed, I waited a month only mining on 1 card for theses me too, 570 @ 23.5 around, no chance over to 24 without huge amount of errors. isnt the gigabyte ones the worst of the rx anyways? wait until sapphire, msi, etc I have both msi and gigabyte 470s and they all hash the same , i don't think msi and sapphire will differ , and 23 is really bad even if msi and sapphire will perform better their hashrate will be low compared to a bios moded 470 not exactly, MSI Rx 470 4gb 21mh/s, sapphire Nitro+ RX470 22 MH/s, sapphire nitro+ 8gb RX 470 24-24.5 MH/s. Numbers are before overclocking and bios updates. In any case, this is good for used RX 470 (price will be stable) aka sellers market.

Gigabyte 570 modded bios: elpida/micron Is it stable at 30 MH? I just received some Gigabyte 570 but didn't get a chance to hook them up. From your picture seems like GPU 0 went to 0 MH.

Gigabyte 570 modded bios: elpida/micron Can you tell us something about power usage or settings? I am about to order 30x 570 and I would like to know if the memory difference is huge as in 470 series

Max memory clock 1920 with 27,4MH/s and over 1920 my rig restarts anytime. @adamvp how you modified your bios for around 30MH/s result? And do you modified your bios only or you did something else for that result? And what about power consumption from the wall?

Starting to think all these posts about 4gb 570 ELPIDA cards hashing over 28 are fake.
Possibly thats a Gigabyte RX 580 8gb card doing the 30s and he didn't read the topic.
I got both 570 gigabyte models coming in about a week (Aorus and Gaming)... Will post the results here.

Bought one of these Gigabyte RX570 4GB Gaming cards to try it out and so far utterly disappointed. Win 10 wouldn't recognize it along with my Sapphire RX470's rear blowers (love those) no matter what, so I unplugged all the Sapphire's, plugged this is and restarted in safe mode, used DDU to uninstall the driver, restarted, then installed the latest AMD Driver, upon which it got recognized. When I removed it and plugged in the Sapphires, windows wouldn't recognize then, so had to boot into safe mode, DDU and start again and let windows automaticaly recognize and install the driver. It has Elpida memory, so I did the same bios updates as on the Sapphire's, i.e. copy 1500 timings to the higher numbers. Underclocking the GPU to 1100 and overclocking Memory to 2000 like I do with the Sapphires, resulted in total instability and still only 25 mh/s - the Sapphires all yield 28.2 - 28.5 mh/s I added this to my ethos (after updating to 1.2.1) rig and it was recognized. It will start out hashing at 28 mh/s for a minute, then drop down to 24.5 - 26.5 but with a very high incorrect / rejection rate. Just changed the amdgpu settings with memory clock at 1920 and now it seems to be hashing at 27.175 constantly. So its at least 1mh/s slower than the Sapphire's and seems to be drawing much more power. Definitely not going to build a new rig with all of these.

6 gpu rig takes 920 on the wall. So each gpu takes around 140 W.

- AsRock Pro BTC
- Coolermaster 1250W Platinum
- 6x Gigabyte G1 RX570 4GB Elpida
- 6x Pci-e risers
- Windows 10 x64
- Modified 16.9 Driver
- 1500 strap, TDP limit 150W
- Claymore 9.3 ETH+DCR
- 1050/1920 core/memory clocks
- 120W-140W power consumption in Afterburner
- 27.5MH/s and 680MH/s
Best I could have done. Any more optimization recommendations? I can't seem to be able to lower core voltage, nor increase memory clocks any further.
