Hey, got some coins in my MultiBit Classic 0.5.19 wallets. I tried transfering some of it to another wallet, but the transaction is still pending, probably because the TX fee was too low (I learned after googling why it kept hanging). I last used the wallet in January and then it went through, but not this time. I have read people refering to exporting the private keys and importing it in some other wallet software, but they have remained unspecific. What is the recommended way to do this? Does anyone have a link to a manual/tutorial?

I'm in need of funds and need to move some of my coins to my bitcoin debit card asap.... All help appreciated.

edit: I have two wallets in my classic.

If you already made the transaction then I suggest using ViaBTC. If you still want to change wallet (and thats recommended) Multibit Classis should allow exporting private keys, as for importing them you could use Mycelium (Android) wallet by scanning the QR code or simply Bitcoin Core.

Yeah, I made two transactions (one to exchange for fiat and one for my btc debit card), will look in the ViaBTC, thanks a lot for the tip! Mycelium is definitely an option. Once I get this thing sorted and am in a location with stable internet, I will definitely do that.

Thanks for the swift reply!
