I've been following Blockchain's docs on Buying coins but nothing they say to do actually exists on their site. I tried the following guides:

How to Get Coins

They say:

"Go to the Blockchain.info homepage and enter your bitcoin address from Step 2. into the search box. This will take you to a page which will show all transactions made to and from your new address, however as this address is new nothing will be displayed yet.

Click the deposit with cash button and enter the amount you wish to buy in the."

I entered my address but on the next page there was no "deposit with cash button". In any case this guide assumes you live in the US I think. Bitinstant is US only isn't it?

Deposit Bank Transfer

https://blockchain.info/wallet/deposit-bank-transfer

It says, "Click the blue "Bank Transfer" button". This does not exist! It also doesn't tell you what page to look on to find the button.

My Wallet

Finally after looking around in my wallet I found where it says "US / UK / EU / Other". But if I click on UK it says:

"The quickest and easiest way to deposit bitcoins into your account is to use the services below."

But there are no services below! See image to see what I mean.

Others

I also tried:
  • Using Pingit using the Pingit guide on Blockchain. The app is so buggy though that it is totally unusable. I've never come across a worse Android app in my life, Barclays must be trying to make it bad.
  • By registering for MT Gox. I registered and uploaded docs for identity but many people are saying there are 22000 people in the queue for verification. MT Gox say 10 days, a lot can happen in that time.

So how do I buy Bitcoins? Everyone seems to be trying to make it so difficult.

Thanks for the heads up, Bit Bargain has been an excellent way of getting BTCs. I use it with Pingit which although is awful to set up (really the worst app I've ever used) is very easy to use once you've got past the awful registration procedure.
