Per Bitcointalk rules and guidance, I do not want to be moderated by the topic starter or the person they have given authority. When their moderation has become excessive and unjust, the person moderating merely causes more skepticism.

This thread is to continue the Iconomi discussion without censorship. This is an unofficial thread and will remain unmoderated.

If you would like to be moderated and have a limited discussion that thread is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1789926.0

Its sad that such basic operations in a modern company are so poorly managed. There are multiple questions from people to the ICN facebook page with no answers and even more so there is no public response to Gamecredits who asked for support during their new MobileGo ICO. Obviously no public commitment should be made but acknowledgement that the ICN team has seen you and will look into it would be a good thing and cause alot of social media sharing for anyone speculating on the MobileGo ICO, thus bringing more attention to ICN.

"Hi Iconomi, here at your site and studying your great concept. We are the Gamecredits Inc team and are inviting you to the Crowdsale of our Ethereum based token MobileGo. Our team has also adopted the benefits of the smart contract. We appreciate your support on April 25th: https://facebook.com/612128732221128/posts/1027627444004586"

ICONOMI have been engaging in INSIDER TRADING.

DAPARSKI, Jani's minion has been actively deleting everything.

Jani announced a full day in advance that ICONOMI will be trading on Shapeshift.

Jani's basically also indirectly confirmed to the members of this insider group that it is highly likely they invested in Matchpool

Insider trading and hinting is still technically legal in unregulated markets so doesn't really matter in my opinion. Happens all the time in crypto and it's better when done for positive reasons rather then purely shorting.

I believe it is less about the legality and more about non Iconomi team members receiving communication from the team when the average investor or community member does not.

I love Iconomi still, as anyone can tell looking at my signature I built a listing service to market Iconomi Funds before and after launch. I just really want an index fund for crypto, afterall indices are the staple of investing. Anway I simply don't want to see ICN's potential be wasted with bad antics.

Oh my! It's like a dream!

Ok, I posted this to the main thread, and it got removed:

https://www.reddit.com/r/ICONOMIuncensored/comments/652fhb/is_iconomi_projects_goal_really_attainable_in_the/

I found a lot of these points very interesting. Worth a read/discussion.

That guy have valid points.
They runned away from dividends.
Tehy runned away from informing about progress.
Okay every month writing "we are not ready" is fucking joke for guys who got 16m$ ...

They invested in six month into 2 ICOs... bytebal was for free but dumping it will couse market CRASH Cheesy with gbyte volume now on trex.

I was thinking about buying more but every fucking time when i go to tread i am reading about RED flags.
We are not ready / we not invest / we won't inform you.

No about insider trading THIS ISOBVIOUS... always before news they pump price and DUMP after news.
This is so prdictable that i stopped looked at it.
They manipulate market like LTC miners now with segwit Turn ON price up Turn off price down.
And stupid morons falls in that cycle.
Ove that six months ICONOMI is proving being DICKs to community no updates no shit to investors.
Same time other such big ICOs are doing updates and rissing.

Wow...  That other room was too much!  So one of my many deleted posts was an apology to Deadly Eskimo for associated him with Iconomi.  He had posted the software job so I thought he might with them..  Sorry dude!  Thanks for creating this room of reason.  Seriously, have you ever seen so many blind fanboys.

So Important questions.  Would love your input!

1.  Average Buy in price?  around 50
2.  Are you holding?  Yeah, but I don't like it.
3.  Buy a little on this dip?  Maybe...  I just feel dirty when I do.
4.  Is ICN run by scammers or are they just trying to drive down the price and not adapt to crypto.  I don't know...
5.  How big is your bag?  ~$2500
6.  Are some Iconomi idiot fanboys (IIF) paid shills?  Absolfuckinglutely

I never posted this on the other thread, because I knew it would be removed...

When Iconomi did that conference in California (or wherever it was), a user popped up in the slack to sing their praises. Claimed he was at the conference, spoke to the team, etc. etc. - saying everything was going to be good.

Posted a couple of video clips which were a minute long each (if that) - despite Jani claiming that the whole presentation would be filmed. It wasn't. However, TaaS managed to upload their presentation in full.

The user linked to a twitter account which was clearly used purely for PR. Had hardly any tweets, and each one was to sing the praises of some company or another, at irregular intervals.

The whole thing looked really sketchy, and that user just vanished and was never seen again.

My point being... yes, there are paid shills. And they're not even clever about it.

I don't like "conspiracy theories", but that move was so obvious. The fanboys aren't capable of thinking in too much depth, but I'll lay it out:

If you have a twitter account that you hardly ever use, and you then visit a conference for something you're genuinely a fan of... why would you:

a) Only record a minute or two of the presentation?

b) Post your short clips to your twitter account that you hardly ever use (rather than youtube, for example)?

c) Only ever talk in the slack channel on that ONE occasion?

Huh

Clearly a PR move. And following on from there, I'm quite happy to believe that they've pulled similar stunts since.

The jury is still out on how Daparski (the thread mod) fits in. He was more than happy to ask a multitude of questions during the ICO and shortly after, but now he's suddenly their biggest fanboy, and seems to have lost his critical mindset. He's either drank the kool-aid, or he's working for them in some capacity. I'm leaning towards kool-aid, but who knows?

No worries and no I'm not part of the ICN team. I'm not concerned with the fan boys or the fudders each type created their own reality. I really only care to the extent that legitimate questions and concerns were being removed. If ICN wants to continue to control the conversation then they will need to stop deleting posts else this thread will continue to be a safe haven for people effected by unwarranted censorship.

ICO

YES

NO

NO: They either got in bed with a bad co-founder, and have no reasonable recourse or their PR contract dictates their level of comms which may very well state that they should not commit to official stances during community based conversations.

Tens of thousands but not hundreds

YES: but 1) most just want the best and operate through cognitive dissonance or blind optimism 2) ICN probably isn't paying anyone but rather a 3rd party with an agenda to move the market in the direct they see fit.

Good man.

Now look at the fact that just over 50% of the total ICN is still sat on the ICO site.

I hope you'll agree that this point compliments your own.

I just stumbled on this.

https://blog.cashila.com/2016/05/12/we-are-introducing-iconomi-the-user-friendly-way-to-buy-and-store-ether/

I didn't know Iconomi was I intended to just be a fiat gateway I to ETH, like Cashila was to BTC.
