Hey guys, ive only been mining bitcoin for a few days; my guiminer displays nearly 4000 shares per gpu of which i have two 5870's that have been taken out of crossfire.  When i check my account on the slush's pool site, it only reflects about 200 shares in my .worker1 at the bottom of the account page.  I am using both gpu's on .worker1 setting; should i create an additional worker for my second gpu?  And if anyone could explain why it doesn't reflect all of the shares that are in the giuminer that would be great!  Thanks and any tips appreciated!

On Slush's website your miners only show shares for the current round, if you go to statistics and add up your shares (or check the bottom) you'll see them all.

Good luck with the 5GH/s miner. Was it for an actual unit in hand or a pre-order from BFL?

It is for a pre-order but part of the batch that should ship at the end of April.  Do you think it was worth $580; i think in a few weeks/months it should more than pay for itself.  Thoughts?

Can anyone tell me why at the bottom of my account page it only shows approx 280 Mh/s rather than 560 for the two gpu's that are currently running the same speed?  I have both of them set to use (my name).worker1 in the guiminer.  Should i move one to worker2 or are they properly configured as is?  Thanks a lot for the info guys, learning curve is significant it seems.

I would try using one worker per GPU, not sure though because I only have one GPU
