Average Mt. Gox Bitcoin Transfer time

I know that the FAQ says that it could take up to 1-24 hours, but doesn't having 6 confirmations gernally take 10 minutes or less?  I've just been waiting for a half hour or so and I wasn't sure if this was typical

Usually takes more than a few hours for me to have them show up.

Usually took about 1-2 hours for me.

Each confirmation takes 10 minutes (on average) so you should not expect 6 confirmations in much under an hour (and can take a fair bit longer).
