I have the newest Nxt wallet and want to send the coins to an exchange.
Do I really have to type in that long message code,  after typing in the
long address?   That's about 50 characters of letters/numbers alternating on
a little android screen.

You can try the copy paste option of your android phone.  You can do the trick by sending it thru any messenger that is installed to your android phone from your PC.  I always tried that and it works somehow.  I don't know if there is any better method aside from that. Or if there is a QR available try to scan it.

Nice trick, I have tried and everything worked. Try to QR scan is more easily.

Thank you
