Can anyone point me to a good guide or instructions for implementing Namecoin with guiminer please?  I feel like I'm missing something here.  Thanks!

A lot of pools now use stratum mining which doesn't support mining for namecoin. Pools that don't use stratum soon will.

EDIT: in other words, don't bother.

I think mtred mining pool does let you mine namecoin while you are mining btc. You just need to generate an address on the dashboard.

Kruncha,
Thanks again man.  Your prompt responses are appreciated!  I guess it was just bugging me in slush's pool(acct settings page) that I didn't have any namecoin settings and it said i could make more "coinage" by using both types.  I will disregard it due to my current mining being in stratus.

Recommend slush's pool or a diff one?

Headed to the house on lunch break; gonna adjust my core and memory clock settigns to something better for mining.  Dual 5870's.  Tips welcome all.

No problem Smiley

I use Slush's pool, He's really quick to respond to trouble (and it seems there's only going to get more of that), and if things go wrong he deals with them fairly.
