It's a gifting programme. You send gifts, You get gifts Back. Our aim is to have 100,000 members by the end of the year. I am going to make a lot of money and you are not. That's because I am in it and you are not. Only you can change that fact. The very next person the joins through my link and sends one gift will get another gift put in by me... FACT...  http://mymerlinsmagicbitcoins.com but I am guessing that it won't be you. Or will it?
You mean you will find enough idiots to make you rich and maybe, just maybe some of them will make a bit money, too.
Most of them will just lose theirs.

How on earth did you idiot become heros

By not throwing our money away and screwing over people for our own benefit while claiming it's "gifting."

Hey it's been fun playing with you losers. I'll just go play with my friends and help someone make some money

I think its pretty obvious you are simply being obtuse about how this scheme system opportunity works so let me explain it so that you and the others know what you are enabling:

No one in this ....community of yours is creating, buying, selling products in exchange for bitcoins, the total bitcoins in your ....organisation only increases when someone joins.

Therefore, taking this ....situation to its extreme, when the last person on earth joins merlinsmagicbitcoins.com and gifts whoever is next in line 1BTC who gives them 2 BTC?

If you say 'the next person to join' then this process is unsustainable.

or to put it another way, what happens if no-one else ever joins this ...happy band? Are you just going to keep giving... sorry gifting coins to each other forever?

In the future you may want to use this rule of thumb: legitimate businesses and investment opportunities never have to say "this is not MLM"

And to the others on this thread who are kool-aid free, is this what we can expect ad nauseam? The same old schemes but "now with bitcoin!"?

The site is still operating and advertising, perhaps the better question is 'why aren't you still talking about it?'

Yeah, it's sad that people get sucked in to this. Of course if you even think about it for a minute it's pretty obvious that it's a scam designed to benefit the first people who jumped in and screw over the rest.

Which explains johnmac's vehement failure to understand the simplest explanation!

I saw this advertised on bitvistor.com (or possibily earnfreebitcoins.com) just this morning and had to add my $0.02 (or 0.0236mBTC)!

If you go to the site and look in the lower right hand corner you will see the total number of gifts.

It has been stuck at < 600 for a long time now.  It may have already run out of gas.

I monitor it every few days for the fun of it.

Actually I really thought this thing had more legs as it was so heavily advertised and it is a very slick site.

Where are all the promoters now?  Did you get your BTC back yet?  I am especially fond of hearing from those of you that:

1) Put in money right at the beginning
2) Got your coins back right away
3) Got back even more coins pretty quickly (Hey, this works!  I am going to be rich!)

and then put everything back in to see if you could do it again.

How is that working for you?

Our family was terrorized by Homeland Security.  Read all about it here:  http://www.jmwagner.com/ and http://www.burtw.com/  Any donations to help us recover from the $300,000 in legal fees and forced donations to the Federal Asset Forfeiture slush fund are greatly appreciated!

obvious scam is obvious.

but what's really sad is the fact that you try to fool people with 3-4 alt accounts and not a single one falls for it. (at least in this thread) Cheesy
