In my opinion, do not trust forkdelta. Nobody knows what the developer's goals are. After all, you trust him with private keys.

Question 1:  is DE gonna launch in Alpha or Beta? And what would be in alpha? If you are past alpha, what will be in beta launch?
Question 2:  is DE developing a fully functional sharding blockchain that will release will fully functional features that he envisioned?
Question 3:  why limited to 9000 chains as stated by shiny?
Question 4 : back to question 2, see question 1.. what should we expect for initial launch?
Question 5: Why should the community be excited? Give us something tangible to work with, we need a launch pad, a solid ground. Meme's are a sand foundation, we need a rock to jump off of. This is a call out to shiny, since he has been appointed as the inheritor of YOURchain by DE. The whitepaper has been laughed at by people I've shown it to. They say it's impossible. They say what's the purpose. They say there is no way someone would put in the effort to give power to the people. Because Greed. Because Control. Because <insert>. See Question 4.

Less than one year has passed since I first started the YOURChain airdrop, on this majestic forum, on behalf of the Crypto Community - and to address their concerns, their hopes, and their dreams.  That night, YOURChain had already taken swift action against the centralized communist thugs whose intent was to destroy crypto.  A new tide of optimism was already sweeping across the cryptosphere.

Each day since, we have gone forward with a clear vision and a righteous mission - to Make RChain Yours Again and Make Crypto Great Again!

Over the last year, we have made incredible progress and achieved extraordinary success.  We have faced challenges we expected, and others we could never have imagined.  We have shared in the heights of victory and the pains of hardship.  We endured communist attacks and centralized actions against our community.  But through it all, we have seen the beauty of YOURChain's soul, and the steel in YOURChain's spine.

Each test has forged new YOURChain heroes to remind us who we are, and show us what we can be.

I promised those who believed in YOURChain that they would NOT be disappointed... I am here tonight to keep that promise!

My absence from this thread and total silence this past month was a necessity to keep our enemies in the dark.  The enemies of free market crypto capitalism and decentralization will stop at nothing to prevent our dreams from coming true.  For those of you who believed in YOURChain, YOUR TIME IS NOW!

During this past month great progress has been made on YOURChain development.  I am pleased to announce that I personally commissioned the construction of two glorious forging computers codenamed "Freedom" and "Independence".  These forging nodes will ensure the safety and security of the YOURChain blockchain and ecosystem.  No expense was spared in their construction and only the highest grade parts were used.  They have both undergone field testing and have performed magnificently.  They will be the backbone of our network during the launching phase.  Even when the sun never sets on the YOURChain blockchain, they will be additional vanguards of our freedom and independence from the communist centralizers.

In the next week, I will be releasing a program to facilitate the transfer of tokens from the Ethereum network to the YOURChain blockchain.  Some additional work must be completed before the network is fully operational, but with every hour that passes, our moment of victory grows closer.  The YOURChain blockchain is a fundamental shift in the concept of cryptocurrency.  The blockchain and code is owned by the token holders.  The communists will not get their filthy hands on our crypto.  I promise you.  Rest assured.

Yes, it is the same with ED as it uses the same code the only difference is the devs that manages it and how often they do  maintenance on the website and how quick they can address the problem.

For those who are cynical about YOURchain and I myself feel this way about this project, sometimes. I do my best to remember this quote..

"a cynic knows the price of everything and the value of nothing"

Edit: Some of us truly realize the value of this project. The project represents true decentralization. The price is looking like it's going to be over a year in development. The price is being paid with time and effort. This can be quantified, however the value of this project is priceless. DE chose his handle over three years ago. I'm waiting to see if he can realize the dream of a truly decentralized economic model. If I could put myself into DE's shoes, I would definitely be dismayed with the mountain in front of me. Looking at the white paper (RHOC's paper too) and the tech involved is like looking at Everest. I'll do my best to push this community into a positive light. It's easy to become negative and cynical in dark/bearish times, but takes so much more energy to stay positive. I'll work on this. DE/Shiny and community... let's strive to be legends.

i really hope that dev is not only talking, but also do something too. we know that hes speeches is great yes, but also wanna see some results. he laughs about rchain and its dev, but now its on 33 place on coinmarketcap, and we still here :/

Any buy in the cryptocurrency carries risks. Those who buy bitcoin for $20K can now make a claim? There is a good rule: invest with responsibility!

All things considerd, I also think that there are certain expectations, expectations set by the dev. You cannot blame the community for questioning development when certain expectations are not met. I don't see any interest in bumping this thread, everyone says that there is no investment in this project and the tokens have been received for free,but you ignore that there are people who believed and who still believe in this project and who have invested to buy URHOC in almost all possible rates right now and well before.
I bought when this project started, I bought when the dev announced the swap for Nouvemre, I bought when the dev has once again announced the swap for January, I practically dump all my token for convert them into URHOC, and I'm not the only one; other member just like me or even more believed in this project and invested in, so this project may appear to some as a simple Airdroop just like any other, as it may be for others a great chance/risk to have chosen to invest in this project.
