There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

There wasn't a money transfer involved with this coins distribution, but there has definitely been a transfer to the dev in the currency he values most - attention - this guy has generated 12 months of attention on HIM from multiple people, maybe +1000 human hours of attention, and that's getting him off. Maybe that doesn't bother people to waste their time on this, and maybe the dev has returned enough comedy dividends to pay for the attention he craves, it's all subjective. I know a woman who will literally blow a guy if he talks to her for an hour or so, there's no money changing hands, but this woman is really painful and nobody likes her, so getting a man to pay attention to her is worth a blow job. This dev is basically doing the same sort of transaction. |

I only got an airdrop, and I'm smart enough to realise I can't predict much in the cryptosphere, and I would not be surprised at all if this guy produced something of substance, just so he can continue the 'game' he likes to play, and if he drops a doge 2.0 type coin, hey, maybe you get a return on the money you invested. My honest opinion is this guy has a mental illness, and that effects people differently, and for some it prevents productivity only at the real extremes, other times the crazy stuff enhances some other activities. |

Last post of the dev was about 20 days ago. The thread is 1 years old. I think next months will be very important. If a true chain exist, the dev has to release it very soon!

Hopefully, but I do not really expect it to happen as expected given the swap process has been delayed for a long time. Still holding 1 million URHOC in the wallet. Do not know if it will be shit tokens or not  . |

 more than 1M URhoc sold for penny, now it's up to you to see wich is the direction where it's going this project. one thing is sure; these tokens were bought with a rate of 0.2 /0.5+ ETH for 100K URhoc at the time ETH was between 800$ / $1200. The risk:reward calculation for this coin is very interesting, it's not likely this project will achieve any results, but there's a non zero chance the dev will come back with a doge 2.0 proposal that achieves some value. Guys who gave BCNext $50 in september 2013 became millionaires, and at that time BCNext looked as mad as this dev. Crypto is never boring! What do you mean with "doge 2.0 proposal that achieves some value" ? Thanks Doge was a straight clone with humour added that attracted a community that exists to this day. Maybe the dev here can do the same thing, but i get more sceptical by the day. The dev doesn't need to produce original code or new tech , but to achieve a doge 2.0 type outcome he needs to release a working client, support early network with infrastructure , and organise a swap. He could do all that from a mental hospital as long as he has internet connection, just call it Trump 2.0 or something similar, forget any idea of cutting edge tech, just settle for memes, humour, community fun, and a bog standard clone I.e doge 2.0 The main difference between Yourchain and Doge is that Doge still has a larger community and a community that has a willing market maker that can influence the price movements of Doge. |

We're coming up on the one year anniversary of the start of this thread in a few days - hope the Dev comes back with some positive news soon.
I hope so, my fellow onioneer. I remember DE's very first post almost a year ago. As a former Synereo (AMP) investor I had big hopes DE will save the original vision and rectify Greg's betrayal. However, this project took a completely new direction since. What's funnier is that Greg Meredith's Rchain looks like it's prospering when you look at the Coinmarketcap website. I don't like that it's becoming a joke on us, Yourchain hopefuls. So true. A sad fact is that I dared to consider at some very dark moments to invest a little in Rchain. Thankfully my trading principals will not permit me to succumb into fomo. |

Is Rchain even open sourced yet? Nothing can happen with yourchain unless there is code to work with and some experienced devs to setup the infrastructure to bootstrap the network, I don't think this original dev is coming back, but maybe someone else is interested in taking advantage of the assembled community ... |

I was not confident until now about this project, because it seems a joke and social experiment but there are same element that bring us some trust. For example the user that uploaded the github announcement is the same of a programmer that you can find on Linkedin. This is for me an element that give us a little hope. Try to find it and see his profile.
