Fastest way to purchase bitcoins

So I know localbitcoins is pretty quick. What methods are generally accepted as the fastest way to get bitcoins in my wallet? Are there any banks or businesses where I could go and purchase bitcoins, or some sort of voucher?

Yeah, that's what I ended up doing. I'm transferring $ to mtgox with zip zap (through money gram). Once I get $$ in mtgox, how long should it take to purchase btc and get them into my wallet??
