I think KDB don't have anything to prove any more, he gave a good account of him self to Man City and they don't need to give him anymore contract after all his age and his performance for the club has dropped, it would be a good idea to introduce some of the young ones to step up. Going to either Napoli or Liverpool will change the way he'll play because no much expectation will be on him but staying at Etihad will still have much expectation since they are paying him big for his services. If Liverpool could get him I feel it will be a good addition to the team because the Reds don't have any midfielder who's as creative as KDB thats why sometimes they have to rely on Alexander Arnold to give those killer passes. And I won't focus on the injury part of the player that's for KDB, is best to see what he has to offer, who knows the injury we have seen might not occur if he joins the Reds, let's see it that way.

You think going to Liverpool should be the best option for Kevin De Bruyne who have declined in performance?, Liverpool just won the English Premier League and what they need is young talented players to add to the squad not Kevin De Bruyne that has already been overused by Manchester City and age is also getting at him because he is 33 years old. Napoli or Liverpool do not fit Kevin De Bruyne because none of the teams will be willing to pay that huge for a player who will not add much to the growth of the team. Napoli is impending Serie A winners, they will need to strengthen their squad against next season of which Kevin De Bruyne cannot meet up with their expectations. KDB suffered series of injuries this season which will even scare big teams to sign him because they will be afraid of him facing similar injury woes as he did in Manchester City so where Kevin De Bruyne will fit in will be in the Saudi League because he can make more money there regardless if he performs better or not, after all Neymar Jr joined Al Hilal in 2023 but couldn't even perform due to injuries but yet he was still being payed till he left for Santos in January 2025.

I don't know why I doubt that such deal could happen, Liverpool need younger talents on not an outdated player that's injury prone, Kelvin in his prime would've been a better option but currently I wonder why Liverpool would even want to consider him, I think Kelvin would end up in the Saudi League where most top European players go for retirement, it's not even about Liverpool winning the league their are lots of stuffs to consider, especially his fitness.

Well most team are good at taking the risk of signing experienced players especially those that are from the EPL so they might consider Kelvin for his experience but going to Liverpool is what I don't think would happen, well the Saudi League is the most likely league he'll end up in, when or if Manchester City are ready to offload him.

It will be a mistake for Liverpool to sign De Bruyne because he almost became a mess this season and he is losing his pace. I am not expecting too much from De Bruyne anymore because he's getting old and weak making him not fit to be among Liverpool team. Young players are needed to play long in the club and not a player that will leave soon. De Bruyne was indeed a great player in City.

Xabi Alonso is about to become Real Madrid head coach officially guys...  Cool

He is the one I have been waiting to see for a long time. There was a possibility for Klopp also but they refuted the rumours later. This consolidated the rumours related to Xabi Alonso more.

This could be seen as risky move too of course. Because he is at the very beginning of his coach career. But after seeing what he did at Leverkusen in his 1st year I just can't call it just a coincidence.  Roll Eyes

I think Alonso's signal to the Santiago Bernabeu is getting stronger even though Jurgen Klopp's name is on the list of one of Real Madrid's projects starting next season.
Xabi Alonso is more suitable because the era of potential young coaches is underway.
If Xabi Alonso really will become the head coach of Real Madrid with his statement as rumored by Romano, I will predict that Xabi's challenge at the Santiago Bernabeu is very heavy.

He will be under immediate pressure to deliver trophies to Real Madrid and people will not care how young he is in his coaching career.
That's a real risk for Xabi. It's different from the situation when he coached not Real Madrid.

How brother, no matter the age I still believe he can add more value to any club than you can ever imagine. KDB is better than 6 midfielders in the starting 11 of Liverpool, he can still contribute more to the team. One thing about clubs is that they forget that some of these players who are in their 30s still have a lot to offer, experience matters. He can decide to reduce his wage just to play, at Napoli they need a specialist in that midfield because when Napoli play they don't have that player who can control the midfield when things are not going well and when their opponent are rushing them thats when somebody like KDB comes in to do his thing, he may be 33 but the way he thinks is never getting old. I get where you're driving at but is left for bigger clubs to take the risk, like I said that we should forget about his injury days and focus more on what he is bringing to the table unless the Saudi is his destination.

Napoli is thinking about getting Kevin De Bruyne from Manchester City.
The player is clearly in his declining stage of the career but he can still make the difference in a slower league like Serie A.

He is going for 34yo and he should be a free agent.

What do you think about this opportunity?
Getting De Bruyne as a free agent is a smart idea. I truly support Napoli's idea in this. They get a world class player who still have skill and stamina to play. Why not?
It's getting even worthy if De Bruyne can also agree with small pay cut to his salary. This is a golden opportunity for them to sign him as a new player, though he's not young anymore.
I see no reason for them to let him go to the Chicago. Having him in the squad will also increase club's depth especially in midfield. I hope they sign him asap!!!!!
KDB was once the best midfielder but due to age and injury problems, this star could not maintain his performance, due to which Manchester City is releasing him as a free agent next season. However, this midfielder has been accepted as a free agent by Napoli, one of the best teams in the Italian league. I will definitely respect this decision of Napoli because it is definitely a good decision for them to take this star as a free agent. Maybe they will not get the same good performance from KBD as before, but in important matches, this Belgian star will be seen contributing well for Napoli in the midfield. After signing with the new club, KDB must play carefully so that he does not get injured for a long time because if he gets injured again, his football career will be completely over.

I'm not really concerning De Bruyne's injury as long as he agree to join Napoli by getting smaller salary than what he received at City. He's been a top player, have magical pass, fourpeat EPL, one UCL trophy. No reason to pass him.

Entering retirement age I think a lot of players are considering salary. I think De Bruyne will consider the best salary and the best club. Hoping for a small salary offer I think will make it difficult for Napoli to get him. There will be many teams competing for De Bruyne's services. The condition of the 33-year-old I think is still very capable to play in Spain, Germany, even Italy for 2 years. So I think it's very natural that De Bruyne is still interesting for many big clubs.
You are right here. They have been playing football with their passion since their young age, they got the fame, the name, the highlights, and wont forget about the glory days. What are else are they searching for again when they are close to retirement age. Even on retirement most of them still play football in small league that will accept that while some go ahead to be managers for the love of football. I don't see anything wrong if De Bruyne choose to go to any club for the sake of huge pay. He deserves it. Messi and Ronaldo couldn't resist the love for money.

This agreement still remains to get official. Honestly I don't think any serious problem will occur and it will cause this deal to be cancelled. There have been some compensation issues but I assume they would figure it out.

Fabrizio Romano posted earlier that Real Madrid has been in advanced talks with Xabi Alonso. It is a matter of time that they sign the contract officially.  Smiley  There were people who expected Klopp or Zidane (his arrival would be too optimistic). I think Xabi Alonso will do good there.

Napoli is thinking about getting Kevin De Bruyne from Manchester City.
The player is clearly in his declining stage of the career but he can still make the difference in a slower league like Serie A.

He is going for 34yo and he should be a free agent.

What do you think about this opportunity?
I assumed KDB was at a stage of his life where he just wants to go to Saudi league and make a bunch of money, did that changed? I mean Napoli "could" be the winner of Serie A this season, that means the yare going to be a serious force next season too, adding KDB to this team would make them much better of course and that could be a great thing for them. This is why KDB going to Napoli could work, for both sides, KDB would get to still play at UCL level, and for a title, and Napoli would get one of the best midfielders of our generation.

Roll Eyes
Initially when the news of Xabi Alonso taking over after Ancelotti popped up and also the news of Real Madrid contacting Kloop and Zindine also popped up, I thought there's going to be a serious competition between these men for the seat. Now, it's more clearer now that it's definitely going to be Xabi Alonso that's the man for the job. I even saw a news this morning about Bayern Leverkusen already giving out their tributes and thanks to Alonso for bringing them thus far.

Accepting a cut on Napoli from his initial pay he is receiving from the club he is currently playing at is hard because he is still a big player that still worth more than what Manchester City is paying him and even if his age is a kind of high there could still be Smart signing of two or three years contract as those years still has his best form and he can do as he is already doing, so actually if by age Napoli is considering to cut the pay they might not get De Bruyne because his worth has not reduce, so actually except they can't afford him if not even if is the money Manchester City usually pay him they should pay and only hire him for two season.
Nothing impossible in football. De Bruyne is still a big player, but with his conditions, none wanted him except he can accept pay cut. I'd prefer to see him to keep play in europe, and retire in the big club instead of moving to the chicago club.
Let's see what Napoli's decision over this rumor. Hopefully they will start to approach him asap.

I would also say he should stay on Europe till his age to retire come because in as much as we think that so long as a player is bright no matter the league they go to the brightness will not leave them, but sometimes it might not be the same because a bright player might not be that on a strange league, ever since Kelvin De Bruyne began it has always been the English league that has been entertaining and bringing out the good in him, so actually aside from the cutting of pay we are not accurately sure of his performance on the club, so we should also reason that because there isn't impossible for that.

I also see the news about Alonso having agreement with Real Madrid and his decision to leave Bayer Leverkusen at the end of this season, he really wants to replace Ancelotti as Real Madrid manager because he knows that Bayern Munich had already taken over the Bundesliga and he don’t think Leverkusen will have the money to buy more players that will make his team great again.

For Carlo Ancelotti, it is a good time to leave Real Madrid or club football: he has tried his best, he is one of the greatest managers of all time based on his record and the trophies he won with almost all the teams he coached.

I hope he accept and agree with Brazil soon in order to continue his coaching career and to win world Cups with Brazil again.

I don't think there will be very high demand for Antony. Of course, some clubs might be interested in him because he's having a very good season at Betis, but this interest will, in any case, depend on his price. And I'm sure that €35 million is not the final price, and it won’t increase just because more clubs might be interested in him. Antony is an average player, and if someone wants to sign him, I'm confident it will be done for a lower price.
It is clear that there will be some big demand for Antony. Will anyone be able to pay for him is another question. Normally, if he was a player who didn't had a contract and was free agent, he would get offers from a bunch of club, he wouldn't do better than that.

However, he is not free agent and teams needs to pay United for him, and United needs to sell him quicky because if they wait for him to be sold and not sell him for whatever they can, when his contract runs out, he will eave for free, so a player they paid a lot, would leave for free. So, we can't really consider 35 million as a "must", like if someone says "here is 20 now, and 5 each year for 3 years" that is still 35, but in a different way, or if someone says "here is 27.5 today" then they should consider it.

Liverpool going for KDB is not really a bad choice, although they're still going to do alright without him since they have a good midfield but KDB  is still a good addition especially when the are chasing for a Champions League trophy.

At Liverpool he doesn't have to play much game since they're are good players for rotation and that means he would be having enough rest and thereby reducing chances or rate of being in the sideline.

Well most team are good at taking the risk of signing experienced players especially those that are from the EPL so they might consider Kelvin for his experience but going to Liverpool is what I don't think would happen, well the Saudi League is the most likely league he'll end up in, when or if Manchester City are ready to offload him.
KDB is a class and I'm not too surprised to see Liverpool going for him and I expect more teams from the EPL including Chelsea go for him and maybe hopefully Chelsea will get him.

Other European teams may go for him also because he still have something to offer there and his decision to Saudi Arabia won't be because he didn't have European interests but rather he picked it.

I thought Carlo Ancelotti would take a break immediately after he left Real Madrid. He has been active in the coaching field for a long time now. But the Italian tactician wants to keep winning trophies until he retires. It will be an emotional departure for the coach after a fruitful dispensation in Spain.

Taking over the Brazilian National team will be a new phase in the career of Carlo. I think the work suits his age since games will not be as frequent as clubs. He would have more time to rest and spend with his family. Maybe his goal now is to win the World Cup before he retires.

When Jurgen Klopp left Liverpool, he made it clear that he wanted to take a break from football. Hence, he shouldn't be on the list. The likely candidates are Xavi Alonso and Zinedine Zidane. However, for Alonso to announced that he's stepping down as manager of Leverkusen at the end of the season, means an agreement has been reached between both parties and it's just a matter of time for an official announcement to be made.
There's quite some good coaches in football, we know how they deliver top performance on the pitch, making formidable game pattern for their perspective clubs. Liverpool are simply one of the best EPL clubs. Their performance are elite and standard, weigh beyond any imaginable closure. Liverpool former coach, Jurgen Klopp did his best for the club, leading them to European elite finals and winning significant titles for the club. However his replacement didn't disappoint, Arne Slot came to dominate and win trophies for the club. We can see the evidence of the new coach coming to gather accolades.

De Bruyne is not strong anymore and he is old enough to play the whole season, I don't think he will have many full-time games in a competitive league like Serie A. De Bruyne is certainly one of the best midfielders of this decade, but he will not be as strong as he was a few seasons ago and Napoli have to consider a lot of things about him. De Bruyne is prone to injuries at his age, his fitness is decreasing, he has 25 games this season in the Premier League and 7 appearances in the Champions League.

As an experienced midfielder, he is still reliable. I am not entirely sure De Bruyne will join Italy with Napoli, but it could be a reality if Napoli really want to find an experienced midfielder like him. De Bruyne is very good as a playmaker, assist provider and scorer of goals, he is all-rounder in my opinion, but his age now will not guarantee his fitness.

Ancelotti future is still a mystery, whether he will stay at Real Madrid next season or will leave, or maybe he will choose to retire. Ancelotti has been very successful at club level, and if he plans to coach the Brazilian national team as rumored, then it would be the right step before he decides to retire. Winning the World Cup is the hope of many managers, and who knows Ancelotti will also be lucky in his new role.

I trust the news that Fabrizio Romano publishes a lot, he always does his research well and posts news when there is a deal very close to being closed, so I am convinced that Ancelotti will be the new coach of the Brazilian national team, it even makes perfect sense to hire Ancelotti

because he knows many of the players on the Brazilian national team well, we just have to see that Real Madrid has Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, Endrick, Éder Militão who are players on the Brazilian national team and he also knows Raphinha.

With a team like Real Madrid it's hard to lose everything in a blowout, this team even without a coach will stay at the top. Nobody knows how the new coach, and Alonso, will turn out, but if he was able to interrupt Bayern's epic in the Bundesliga, and subsequently keep Bayer on the second line imposing the fight in the standings, he can definitely coach even a club like Real Madrid
