I had completely missed this news but I can't say I'm surprised of the outcome: Luis Enrique is doing great things in Paris, he has built the team exactly how he wants it, he is able to play with a lot of young players and the management totally believes in him. Why on earth should he leave the French team to go to United? I understand United trying, but there was no possibility for them.

As i know this rumor was coming from the low tier news merchant. Majority of news merchants published Enrique would turned down an offer from Manchester United. However, there would never be a formal offer from Manchester United for him.

So i guess if it's only a fake rumor. At that time, Enrique was not only the name linked to MU, but there was also Naglesmann as well.

Manchester United never approached Enrique or any other coaches yet they just listed some possible options that could take over the role of a permanent manager if Carrick doesn't fit the role and Enrique was the top choice that was mostly like by fans, not that the board made that decision. Michael Carrick is also an option on the list and with this current stats he may end up being the favourite if Manchester United finish in a,position that would allow them to play the Champions League.

Before Carrick's appointment, Manchester United considered several coaching options, including Luis Enrique, but their target was never achieved, leading them to choose Carrick as an interim manager. However, the board of directors appears to be satisfied with Carrick's performance, as he has significantly improved the team's performance, leading Manchester United to qualify for next season's Champions League. Indirectly, you are saying the Manchester United board members lack sense. Well, it seems you know better than the club, perhaps buy the highest share and become the new operational director. To sign Carrick as the new head coach is not an issue and you know that. The issue they are having is making the same mistake over and over again. The loss on Amorim, and the managers before him that didnt last long in the club has affected them drastically. Any decision they will make on Carrick is going to be a long one which is the reason they dont have to rush into taking any decision until the season is over.

My people say that you cannot throw away the water you have in your pocket simply because the weather has changed and wants to rain. You may understand this proverb the current Manchester United coach is doing very well. The best thing the management of Manchester United should do is to keep him you cannot throw away a very good coach that has proven himself for another coach to come, no matter how the coach is you are not sure he can perform very well in Manchester United. A coach may do better today and may not do better tomorrow not every player work with every better coach, right now Manchester United coach Michael Carrick is doing very well. I will encourage Manchester United to give Carrick the job on a permanent basis. They should continue doing their trial and error till they get what they are looking for. There are no much already made coaches out there these days. What we mostly have now are new generation coaches that are gradually building their brands. Manchester United should trust Carrick and if things don’t work out in the future, they can fire him.

But now that he has revived the fortune of the club they should continue with him. Take a look at Vincent Kompany, he is gradually building up his experience because Bayern Munich trusted him. If he wasn’t given the opportunity to prove himself he wouldn’t be were he is today. Manchester United should learn from that and let Carrick handle the job and see where he takes the club.

This is how Manchester United have been messing up since Alex Ferguson left and trust me, if Luis Enrique comes to Manchester United, it's going to be another fail just like what happened to  Louis van Gaal, Jose Mourinho, Ralf Rangnick, Erik ten Hag, Ruben Amorim and all those other Manchester United has tried to hire

I think Michael Carrick should be given more chances. Because his achievements with Manchester United cannot be underestimated. He led the team brilliantly, and his tactics were excellent. They prepared very well against every opponent, and these opponents were also some of the strongest in the Premier League. They still managed to win against them. This can't be a coincidence or a fluke, because they beat many big teams during Michael Carrick's time. I think he should definitely be given a year off next year. Because if Manchester United is currently in the Champions League standings, they owe it to him. And they're not achieving this in some league or other, they're achieving this in the Premier League.

I don’t doubt Carrick is a good manager, he’s been able to do what previous managers at Manchester United have failed at accomplishing. But still, Luis Enrique? That changes everything. Carrick can take United to the champions league, but Enrique can take the team all the way in the CL. Only downside I see is that if Luis Enrique comes in and doesn’t start winning games immediately, the fans will start moaning for Carrick to be called back.

This rumor still confuses me. I mean, as some members have mentioned, there were reports that Enrique was interested in joining Manchester United, but goal.com reported that he declined, but I don't think, as you explained, there's a specific reason why Enrique should accept Manchester United. Regarding salary, PSG could still offer a raise if Enrique wanted one. Perhaps the only issue is league level, but I think with PSG current performance, it would be a shame to let him leave. I've also heard that PSG has offered him a new contract until 2030, besides, Manchester United has improved significantly under Carrick, so this gamble isn't worth taking.

If the owners want even more progress, they should invest in infrastructure and players, and then find a top manager. I also think it will be a fine deal for them, Nunez is not so bad and maybe the Italian league will be a good place for him after all the struggles in Liverpool and also after being benched in Al Hilal he now deserves proper playing time.we have seen how Hojlund went from struggling at United to making an impact in Serie A for Atlanta so I believe Nunez should be able to do the same.

But you guys are saying it, he is not so bad... Vlahovic is not so bad and a few days ago I read about the bad quality the Italian teams have and as long as they can only afford and get these types of players,  it won't get much better than it is now.

In my opinion there is more than one reason that he ended up in the SPL and now that there is a spot free because an average player like Vlahovic leaves Juventus, they are interested in the next player who isn't bad, but who isn't great either. Maybe there is a small chance that it would work out greatly between Juventus and him, sometimes there is a special connection between a player and a specific club.

Maybe the Italian league will be suitable for him, things didn't go as planned for him in the premier league. His not a bad player because if he was, Liverpool won't have paid that kind of transfer fee for his services few years ago. Juventus must have been tracking him and seeing his progress at Al Hilal and finally coming to the conclusion of bidding for him. An obstacle will be his wage, what if he demands a higher pay from them to match what his getting at Al Hilal.

I don’t think anyone is expecting him to be a miracle worker. Carrick has done the heavy lifting, he’s made the team believe again that they can win games, and if Enrique takes over he can ride on that momentum and build a stronger team. And who knows….maybe INEOS are willingly to give Enrique an offer like the one Tottenham gave to De Zerbi. I believe that would get his attention.

I think it could be another Solksjaer situation where their heart will rule over their head. Carrick is doing well ut is it just a new manager bounce, like we have seen at clubs many times before.

He doesn’t have experience of winning so hopefully he gets the job full time and is rubbish next season.

This is exactly what I meant when I say I do not want to see Michael Carrick as head coach because all I see a just another Ole Gunner Solskjear scenario. They did well as interim managers but immediately they got assigned as managers, they'll show their true value. I don't doubt Carrick anymore but he shouldn't be the manager in charge next season.  We need a big manager and tactically great as Luis Enrique who can withstand the capacity of a big club. We will see what goodies the next transfer holds for us.

Italy has been a redemption ack for players who failed to meet expectations especially in the EPL, and Darein Nunez is one. Before his arrival to Liverpool he was highly rated and many consider him to be exceptional as Erling Haaland but soon fail to Iive up to that name and now in Saudi club.

Darwin Nunez moving to serie A may just be what he need to get his name back in Europe top flight again.

This is a bad deal for Juventus. They don't need a player like Nunez; they need a player who is a good finisher. Nunez is not that. He misses too many chances. There is no point in playing so well, but become average in front of goal as a striker. There is no point in swapping Vlahovic for Nunez. I still don't know why Juventus are still interested in the deal.
Nunez will work if they had a good finisher then he can play as a second striker. They can play with two strikers with Nunez behind the main striker, but they don't have that kind of player.
I guess it's not really suprising that Juventus are goig for a player like Nunez, they have not been a serious club for a while and they can afford a good striker. What im sure of is that Nunez is not the kind of player to make a team better. He is not a level raiser.
