Do you think the management of Manchester United will see things that way too? I think if they see the opportunity to sign a coach who has won a major trophy in football already, they will jump at the opportunity because they will know that experience will matter.

Was it not in the news some days ago that Manchester United made attempts for Luis Enrique? If you did not see it, here is the link
https://www.goal.com/en/lists/luis-enrique-reject-man-utd-psg-new-contract-michael-carrick/blt07dd40201d5fc8d4?
Hiring Enrique Luis is in the hands of the international coach to decide and not Manchester United. If they sign a different coach and Carrick has the desire to continue coaching on the field, he might leave for a new club who shows interest in him and if he leaves, United wouldn't have him as part of the coaching team. It means they will miss a great coach in future. Manchester United should do what they like after all, the management are used to poor results for the past five seasons.

Sorry to say the management of Manchester United are very foolish for thinking of replacing Carrick, a coach that has brought you to a champions league position in the premier league table, I believe they never expected to even go to the champions league next season or even get to this position in the premier league table before Carrick came in as the head coach, if they like they should sign another coach is their fucking business and not mine, they are losers so I don’t expect something better from them, those that are Still Manchester United fans are really trying I can never be a fan to a useless club that has no business with winning.

Maybe, because they got him easily and everything is working smoothly for Carrick that's why they fail to understand that he is the best person to move the club to the pronise land. You know when you don't suffer to get something of good value, you wouldn't appreciate it until, you lose it. I'm waiting to see the dumbest move they will make on deciding who will be United coach next season. It seems that it's the management that's is the problem to the club past failures.

I also fully support Carrick to become the permanent head coach so that he can revive the Manchester United club because since Carrick became the coach of Man United, the performance of this club has changed drastically and even competes with top teams again for a place in the UCL or UEL zone, and I also agree with you, maybe if Man United gives Carrick a chance for the next 2 seasons, maybe this coach can give the EPL title and I am also sure that this season Man United will finish in the top 4.

If Carrick is able to continue like what Manchester United has shown with their play, then Carrick will make the Premier League competition more interesting at the top of the standings.
If this is the basis, I also support Carrick being appointed as permanent coach and I think that this effort could become a reality considering that Manchester United's finances are experiencing a little difficulty based on the news circulating that I have read, especially news regarding the situation of INEOS in the increasingly uncertain escalation of the US-Israel war with Iran.

Don't be surprised the kind of silly things going on in the heads of the Manchester United management Board like, Carrick is not experience, he is learning on the job, they probably need an experience Coach then Carrick can be an assistant just the way he has been. Forgetting that Michael Carrick coming in for Manchester United at that point in time was a divine intervention, because all hope we're literally lost. This guy has been able to manage set's of players he didn't buy, the next good thing Manchester united ought to do was to give him at least a year or two years contract to test his capacity and not to start shopping for a replacement.

Atleast he's prove to Arteta, Guardiola and most other top managers he won that he's a threat they should be worried about if Carrick succeeds in taling Manchester United to the Champions League, it would help them secure top players that would make the team stronger, more strength means more hope for success.

I support him too, i like what he's done for Manchester United within a short period, if he were managing the team I support I would said same thing too. It hasn't been easy for managers in the past but Carrick came in and gave the team hope so he really deserves the chance of coaching them permanently.

Man Utd management could be said to be stupid if they don't keep Carrick, what he did has brought Man Utd back to the top of the standings, and if only because of experience is the problem, coaches are not born directly with a wealth of experience, they will gradually hone their skills and Carrick is a young coach who can immediately make an impact despite not having much experience. I'm sure there will be a lot of criticism from Man Utd fans if the management makes a wrong move by not signing Carrick.

I don't really agree with that idea because previously we have seen experienced coaches who have won major trophies perform below expectations at Manchester United, I don't think the criteria for choosing a manager should be based on trophies won only but rather should be based on the principles of the club and the personal philosophy of the coach, e.g, for any body to be appointed coach at any level in Barcelona you must have the Barca DNA, and must be a master of possessive football (tiki taka).

I think they should keep Carrick in the team next year. At least he should continue fighting. After these successes, I think he should be given the same chance that Amorim was given. Maybe a new and very good manager will come into the football world. I have high hopes for him because he took Manchester United from a terrible position to a fantastic one now. That's no easy feat.
This Manchester United - Carrick contract is going to be a big test for the Manchester United management and fans will keenly wait until end of the season to see what the decision will be. Michael Carrick has brought back the Manchester United we grew up watching and keeping him will be the best decision they can make. No manager came into the field of coaching with experience because as the years go buy, they gather their own experience. If an inexperienced person like Michael Carrick can hold the team to honour like this, why not give him the chance?

Vincent Kompany is doing great right now because he was given the chance starting from Burnley, he broke into Europe and now coaches one of the biggest team in the Europe's top 5 leagues. Carrick deserves a chance and I hope he gets it by the end of the season. He has a good dressing room management which is very important to team unity and progress. If they go by vote, fans will choose him over any manager as it stands now.

Although Manchester United isn't ruling out considering other candidates for the head coach position, I think Carrick has a high chance of staying, and at the moment, everything is in his hands. But he has very strong competition, as I've seen Negelsmann being discussed as a possible Manchester United manager, and if they can reach an agreement, I think it could be even better for the team, although I don't know if there's any point in changing anything if Manchester United is doing so well right now.

Was it not in the news some days ago that Manchester United made attempts for Luis Enrique? If you did not see it, here is the link
https://www.goal.com/en/lists/luis-enrique-reject-man-utd-psg-new-contract-michael-carrick/blt07dd40201d5fc8d4?
As i know this rumor was coming from the low tier news merchant. Majority of news merchants published Enrique would turned down an offer from Manchester United. However, there would never be a formal offer from Manchester United for him.

So i guess if it's only a fake rumor. At that time, Enrique was not only the name linked to MU, but there was also Naglesmann as well.

Manchester United never approached Enrique or any other coaches yet they just listed some possible options that could take over the role of a permanent manager if Carrick doesn't fit the role and Enrique was the top choice that was mostly like by fans, not that the board made that decision. Michael Carrick is also an option on the list and with this current stats he may end up being the favourite if Manchester United finish in a,position that would allow them to play the Champions League.

Yeah, obviously Manchester United should need to keep Michael Carrack for the rest because of we look at his way of playing, then probably it's making sounds so loud like in very little time he did so much great things, such as defeating the strongest team of the season as well as won all matches against big team. So it's a clear indication of his greatness and definitely due to his he deserves to be saty here like to manage the Manchester United team. He is not even good in progress despite he has very good interaction with players as well in dressing room.....

So in my opinion Manchester United should need to keep him for the rest otherwise they will regret a lot because after so many years finally they meet a good coach like who really understand the team behavior wether it's a staff member or it's a tactical gear. So keeping him would be a good decision for the club owner.

So experience doesn't matter. If he has quality then it's okay.... Smiley

I think Manchester United have to give Carrick a shot. They need to give him at least a full season to see how he performs before they can decide if they will look elsewhere or not. He has earned that right. He is someone who understands the club and would understand if the club offers him a short-term contract, at most a 2-year contract.
I was one of those who criticised the United when they hired Carrick, but now he has proven us all wrong and has shown that he seem to know what he is doing. So I feel the club should give him one full season. Get him a couple of players to strengthen his team and then see how things turn out. If they don't turn out well, then they can look for a better manager.
United need to understand that they have a lot to do if they actually want to be a top team again and letting go of a manager that has made them look like a serious club again is not a goo decision in my opinion.

What if Carrick failed to win the rest of the matches? I'm not having anything against Carrick but the rest of the matches are very important right now, there is some left, what if the team couldn't finish at the top of the league and the management get disappointed, what if the deal was for him to to finish at the top of the league before he can get to sign the permanent deal to become their coach, so it's not something to be emotional about the outcome.

If everything went well, the team is able to take the number 4 place in the Premier league, even the team will protest for him to be kept as coach of the club. Many clubs are looking for new person that will take the roles of new coach, I have not seen Manchester United look for one, the club is focus on seeing Carrick end well, that's what they need now, all other things will only divide their attention.

At this point of the season whether Carrick takes Manchester United to a top finish or not Carrick should be given the job. With the time been that Carrick has been in Manchester United he has proven himself to be a reliable coach that, united should Bank on. Carrick should be given this job on a permanent basis. The reason why am saying this is because Carrick has come to understand the team he understands the strength and weaknesses of the players.

Bringing in a new coach is like starting a new team all together. Which will take time to gel and it will hinder the progress of the team so the best thing to do is to allow Carrick to build on the successes that he has already gotten in his short term as interim manager.

Giving a new coach one season demands is like asking a politicians to perform well in one term in office, the bigger question is do the club expect the coach to perform miracle because as a matter of reality asking for positive results within one season could be counter productive for coach or any role that demands time and technical planning like football, Manchester United have traded that path before but it doesn't end well for the team instead the perform poor and worst in such season.

This is absolutely nothing about getting him for free it’s actually because of past experiences that Manchester United are actually wary of giving him a new contract, this same case played out when Manchester United hired Ole Gunner Solkjaer as their interim manager then, he took them to champions league quarter finals against all odds then, defeated top clubs in the league then, he was definitely just looking like the perfect person to take the club back to the glory days like the way it seems with Carrick and many ex Manchester United players were actually behind him for the job only for him to disappoint after getting it, not that he wasn’t actually performing well but he lack that charisma to actually make some kind of changes then in the club.

This is one of the reasons why not just the board but some Manchester United fans are actually wary of Michael Carrick, they feel he would still pamper some spoilt players in the club and wouldn’t be bold enough to challenge this Manchester United hierarchy. If they are seriously experienced managers like Enrique available it’s not bad that Manchester United are weighing up their options

I don't believe Arbeloa will be in charge of the team during the transfer window. Therefore, his words aren't very important. If the management wants to sign a player, they will. At Real Madrid, the club handles transfers. Haaland is a very important player, and Real Madrid has wanted him for a long time. Enzo Fernandez is also a player who can improve the midfield. So, if they sign these two players next year, they can take Real Madrid to a very high level. Especially Mbappé and Haaland would elevate Real Madrid to the top.
You don't know how much I want that to happen. Having those players at Real Madrid would fix many things, and everything would start to flow. These players would make a fascinating combination. Some think that mixing them isn't possible because there would be fights, but come on, this is Real Madrid. The best stars in the world have always been at Real Madrid, and that's something Barcelona will never be able to get.

This evening, the Italian newspapers are reporting that Gasperini is set to become the national team manager, rather than Allegri as had previously been speculated. Allegri, on the other hand, would have opted for the usual old, past-their-prime players.
