In my opinion this is not a good transfer for Manchester United, because Halland is yet young and what we currently need is an experienced striker who can boost other strikers confidence too. Doesn't makes sense lol if he would like to swap champions league to europa league by joining united this season .
Manchester United so far the only serious club that interested in him , with Leipzig one step ahead as both Leipzig and Salzburg owned by red bull , a move to Leipzig would be more realistic as they are also qualified for the next champions league round.

United need to let this kid go and recruit him later in the next 2 or 3 years when he has developed and show his full potential. He is obviously also not interested in United move several times when interviewed. At least for now ... sayonara united.

The hope is to sell in on January but he was a jerk on the last summer session refusing 5+ teams.

He is not worth much on the market and especially now with the situation and no playing time this season.
I remember reading that he would have preferred that Juventus had told him in June that they are no longer counting on him for the upcoming season instead of telling him later on.

He already knows Italian football, will cost Milan only €10-12 million and Juve is looking to offload him. It makes sense.

Milan is also still pursuing Demiral but I hope they will switch their attention elsewhere. Juve's asking price of €40 million could help. 
Rugani looks like he will be available on the market in January so they can try and push for him.

I think Mandjukic would be a very good solution for Milan, at least in the short term.
He has a lot of experience and has been playing in Italy for a long time.
This Manchester United story has been around for too long and I believe Mandjukic finally wants to play.
What could attract Mandjukic to Milan is also Boban, the Croatian director.
After all, I don't think Milan can spend to much money on the new players now.

For sure he was better back on days but if they can manage to have him on loan it will be a great addition for the bench and when they need him for anyone injuried.

I think Milan should focus on young promising talent rather than go for older players who demand a lot of wages, yet they will be gone in a couple of years. They should rebuild their team around young talent like Monaco and Ajax did a couple of years ago. Also, they should hold tight onto them and not sell them off like both Ajax and Monaco did.

It would save them a lot of money while take them as far as Champions League finals in the near future.

I think RB Leipzig is the real destination. Both clubs (RB Leipzig and Salzburg) have the same owner and they will not allow that such a player goes for cheap money. Now in Leipzig for 20 mill, and on summer for 100+ mill.
Maybe sell and loan, because Salzburg has a great chance to qualify to next round of CL and it will be good if they have Haaland in the team.

I have heard that Haaland is being chased by a lot of teams at the moment.
Some of them are Real Madrid, PSG, and Manchester United.
I am really cautious if it is the best for his career to join those team as he will probably sit on the bench from the moment he steps on his new team.
