Yes that's right, and the impact of the injury was very disruptive to his performance on the field so that Fati could not fully display his best performance as usual. his career seemed to stagnate there especially followed by many competitors for him at Barcelona. I think this is indeed the best decision for him and Xavi also said this decision was none other than so that he could play full minutes without intense competition at Brighton and it was also for the good of Fati. Obviously I also don't think Fati would turn down an offer to play in the Premier League, and one of the reasons for his departure is because he really believes in De Zerbi.
It's just a loan, so Barcelona didn't lose anything if Ansu Fati can perform and regain his confidence back. Maybe De Zerbi willing to pay big amount of money to sign Ansu Fati, but it's an another discussion in the future. Barcelona also don't have any problem with their squad, Yamal is replacing Dembele and Felix is replacing Ansu Fati.

An agreement has been reached and all of Coutinho's salaries during the loan period will be fully borne by Al-Duhail. Had received offers from Besiktas and Real Betis but Coutinho has rejected both and prefers to go to team qatar. I think there is nothing wrong with Coutinho accepting this offer, after all this is only on loan and later he will still be able to return to Aston Villa and continue competing in the EPL. Maybe at this stage of his career he wants to make more money and that is a fact that probably everyone already knows.

It kind of fizzled out, he was a real star but for whatever reason it went downhill once he left Liverpool. I have fond memories of him, he was a really good player. I totally do not blame him if he feels like going there to earn really good money.

Even though they are only on loan, young players like Ansu Fati could be a good strategy for Barca to develop their talent without burdening the club with the risk of long-term injury. If Ansu Fati can fully recover and restart his career well, Barcelona can get quality players without having to spend big transfer fees. So, in this case Barcelona will not lose if Ansu Fati returns to perform well. and this is an advantage for Barca However, it is possible that other coaches or clubs like De Zerbi are interested in buying Ansu Fati in the future. If Ansu Fati performs brilliantly during his loan spell and De Zerbi is willing to spend big, that could be an option in the future. and I think Barcelona have replaced Ansu Fati with Felix and Dembele with Yamal in their squad. It is a common decision in the world of football when a club has to adapt its squad based on the physical condition of the players and the needs of the team.

After all, what's the point of a loan deal, if the player on loan don't return to the original club who did the loaning.

Since the transfer window for most European clubs are already down, I think whoever hasn't been given an option will end up going to Saudi league. I still can't believe that Ramos has been offered close to 20 million euros per year to play there, and he preferred 1 million euro from Sevilla to go there. This is the perfect example of "I have enough money I want to play where I want to live" type of deal.
Saudi league isn't a big problem exactly because of this, people still say no to them even with more money, and yes some people go there but not all, even with 20x more money you still can't convince some people, which means that only reason anyone would ever play there would be 20x more money, that is not sustainable.

Ansu Fati, a striker once considered a prodigy and expected to replace Messi at Barcelona. Miramontes once praised him and said that Fati would be a worthy successor to Messi's number 10 shirt. But injury brought his career at Camp Nou to a dead end. He gradually lost confidence when he got another slight damage, and coach Xavi dropped him from the main squad. In particular, the appearance of Lamine Yamal forced Fati to sit on the bench. Brighton borrowed Ansu Fati until next summer's transfer window. This is an opportunity for him to once again prove his achievements.
Fati said in an interview that De Zerby was a key factor in his move from Barcelona to Brighton. I think that Fati himself understands the importance of playing practice, and perhaps if De Zerbi counts on him and sees a prospect in him, then he will give him playing time, this is very important for a football player. Let's see how Faty performs, I see that De Zerby likes to play with one striker and Ferguson is in good shape. Last year, he played in 36 games for Barcelona and scored only 7 goals, causing him to be approached suspiciously. If De Zerbi believes in him, of course, the Premier League is an offer that cannot be refused for Ansu Fati. I don't know how many games he will play in the forward zone with Brighton, but if he shows his performance last year, it will not be a very good transfer for Brighton. Ansu Fati is still very young and De Zerbi is very happy to see this player move to Brighton even though it is only on loan but this can increase Brighton stability and performance this season and I am sure that De Zerbi has a purpose in using this player as reliable player even though in Barcelona it is not very good but the Brighton coach has a way to develop these young players which can help improve the quality of Brighton matches. Another thing that made the Brighton coach little happy after successfully bringing in Ansu Fati was because this player had indeed performed well at Barcelona so De Zerbi believed that there would be big opportunity to develop this player talent.

The 20 million euros were probably not enough I think. It is a lot of money, but when somebody played for Real Madrid and PSG for 18 years in a row and was probably among the best paid defensive players in the world, I think that 20 million euros is not an amount where a player and a person like Ramos snap calls. He knew that the world over there is very different from what he likes to be surrounded with and also, 20 million euros is not 50 million or 100 million. Since Ramos is quite a big name in the business and has been for a long time, I was surprised when I read this "modest" offer when compared to the offers that many of the other players who chose to go to the Saudi Professional League were offered. Not that it is not much, but it seems to be less than he himself might have expected.

Maybe De Zerbi willing to pay big amount of money to sign Ansu Fati, but it's an another discussion in the future. Barcelona also don't have any problem with their squad, Yamal is replacing Dembele and Felix is replacing Ansu Fati. Ansu Fati departure did not have too much of an impact on the Barcelona squad as they got a replacement straight away before the transfer window closed. The arrival of Joao Felix will be a replacement for Ansu Fati, Xavi Hernandez already has a complete squad after successfully bringing in new players in the last seconds of the transfer window. Ansu Fati was not released permanently by Barcelona, he was only loaned to Brighton to get more playing minutes. Of course there will be further discussions if Brighton wants to sign Ansu Fati permanently, Barcelona has also put a fairly high release clause in Ansu Fati contract which means Brighton has to spend a large amount of money to make Fati permanent. Yamal's presence meant that Xavi had to choose between Yamal and Raphinha to fill the main line up. Yamal potential is quite good, he needs to gain the coach's trust to hone his skills, while Raphinha is very experienced in the senior team. Xavi had to rotate between the two, the position left by Dembele didn't really bother Xavi about the situation in the first team.

Sergio Ramos is a prominent player who has contributed substantial contributions to the clubs for which he has competed. The Spaniard completed a decade at the Santiago Bernabeu before joining Ligue One team PSG. He is currently a free agent before returning to Sevilla, where he started his professional career. Ramos' refusal of huge offers from Saudi clubs is nothing new; Kylian Mbappe did the exact same thing. However, not every player who want to play or extend their football career outside of Europe is successful. Saudi clubs are widely recognized for making more substantial proposals for players throughout the transfer window, regardless of the player's prominence.

Whatttt the hell? I never expect him to reject besiktas and betis for saudi club. I meant i can't even understand the way he was thinking about his future. Rejecting betis is an unexpected move by him. I never thought if he would be doing it. Does he get a lucrative offer from qatari club?don't mind it caused by i just aware if he was moving there as loan. I never expect this to happen after he was leaving from liverpool. It seems like that he was feeling bored to play in the english premier league. Many people got surprised caused by this move. Majority of liverpool fans never expected it to happen from him. Rejecting one of good club in la liga for al duhail. Even though he was moving as a loan to the saudi club but this is unpredictable move. I could still accept him to leave from aston villa then join in betis as a loan, but he was coming to the qatari team. I wonder what was his motivation to join there? What unpredictable moves by coutinho.

I have even heard such speculation like Liverpool were willing to swap Darwin Nunez with Joao Felix before the end of the transfer window. I don't believe this honestly. Because there is no reason for Liverpool to be okay for such deal. What can their reasoning be for this? Joao Felix didn't show a better performance than Nunez in the recent times.
Besides Nunez is doing much better than last season for now. He has 2 goals and 1 assist in 4 EPL matches so far. They didn't sign any other striker even though they didn't have a reliable backup striker. Maybe Felix could have been signed on loan to have more alternatives.
However I guess Felix would have still chosen Barcelona instead as it was his dream team. :)
This really looks like a fake news story. Some journalists do this to get more hits on their websites. It's called clickbait journalism. Nunez was the focus of criticism last season, but his stats weren't bad. It's not easy to play as a target striker for a team like Liverpool. I think it was normal that he struggled a bit in his first year. Also, Liverpool were not good as a team last season. So, it's not right to put all the responsibility on him. I think a swap between Felix and Nunez would have been a bad choice for Liverpool. I think it would have been a bad choice for Liverpool to swap Nunez for Felix and if it had happened, Nunez would have performed well in the Spanish La Liga with Atletico Madrid...

I don't think there is anything wrong with Ansu Fati joining Brighton on a short loan spell this would afford him the opportunity of a regular playing time at the club, the arrival of João Félix to Barcelona also on a loan spell would limit Ansu Fati playing time with Robert Lewandowski as there main striker while João Félix is a backup strike, though Ansu Fati can also play at the wings, however Raphinha, Ferran Torres and Lamine Yamal are the Xavi main favorite wingers, therefore Ansu Fati who is a promising talented young player with age on his side has a major role to play for Barcelona in the future he might possibly be recall in January 2024 transfer window if some of the main players is/are injured.

I think those are mere rumours and liverpool won't think of swapping a player they got for a huge fee last season with a player with the outscored, of course Nunez had about 11goals in the previous season whereas Félix had just four, we all know both clubs underperformed last season but atleast his performance was better than that of João Félix and he even had more champions league goal than Félix last season as well. I agree with you @ trendcoin because not every player find it very easy to perform well on their debut season some take a while to adapt unto their environment and when they finally do they'll be at their best, just as Nunez is this season, he's a very good player, good with making quick runs and keep himself in position were he'll easily score goals and I believe this season would be better than his debut season, and we'll get to see more of the best of Nunez in EPL this season.

After all, what's the point of a loan deal, if the player on loan don't return to the original club who did the loaning. Ansu Fati was sold because he was never part of Xavi project, check his last appearance in Barcelona before he went to Brentford, Xavi didn't start him and as a young player, it will be bad of him if he dont start most of the matches, there is too much competition in Barcelona and that's why he was loan to Brentford. However, what I don't understand is the option buy they included in the contract, Brentford can decide to buy after the loan expired and I wonder why they allow such option if if wasn't that they don't see him in Barcelona in tbe future or probably was just use to settle part of the debt Barcelona is dealing with right now. As an academic kid that hail from Barcelona, this loan transfer is not a good idea in my opinion, to Brentford isn't giving at all. Ansu is just 20 with a single trophy won and 33 goals, it's going it be a long ride for in such club that hasn't won anything in a long time. It would have been better if he go to Arsenal where young stars are been celebrateed with good future. Imagine going to Arsenal and won the first Champions League, I know many will say it's a dream but you never can tell.

Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1699406342920757367It hasn't been heard for a long time that Philippe Coutinho will now join the Qatari team Al-Duhail on loan from Aston Villa. Philippe Coutinho was a very talented footballer but injuries ended his career. When he joined Barcelona for a significant transfer fee, it looked like Barcelona might have signed a top striker, but due to injuries, the deal was a complete mistake for Barcelona as they bought the star for too much money and sold him later for too little money. After being out of the team due to injury for a long time, when he brought himself back to the game and when he came on the field for a short while, the star again got injured and left the field. The Brazilian striker may not be in Europe due to additional injury problems. Philippe Coutinho is very positive about a move to Qatar Stars League club Al-Duhail. If Al-Duhail is the star's next destination, hopefully he can play well for the club injury-free.

I think Xavi sounds selfish, if he really wanted Ansu Fati back, why did he still get so little playing time in the end? in other words Ansu Fati is playing at Brighton just to hone his skills and then Xavi will take it back. Isn't that selfish enough, I know it is their right because Ansu Fati contract at Barcelona is still long. I never stop thinking that Ansu Fati potential will not develop even if he returns, because he has to queue for a long time to get playing time. Waiting for the main squad to be injured and Ansu Fati remaining unchanged whether he goes to Brighton or not, he will remain a reserve player. My view is that Xavi wants to see Ansu Fati able to develop her talent in Brighton than surviving in Barcelona, she has difficulty getting a place in the squad because it is unable to compete with other players in the same position. Ansu Fati was not removed permanently but the loan status, unless Xavi decided to hold Ansu Fati in Barcelona and did not give minutes to play, for me it could new be said to be selfish. Ansu Fati is still young and can return to Barcelona if her condition has improved and my assumption Xavi wants to provide an opportunity for her to be developed. Xavi has a long -term plan with young players owned by Barcelona and there are many things that might not make sense according to us but the coach does not see it as from the egoism section. Just wait for the future developments and certainly Ansu Fati will be one of the players that Barcelona needs in the future and it depends on how he tries to improve its quality.

You describe that they have been investing modest amounts over a relatively long period of time and that they are doing well in the Premier League. You conclude that they must be having a lot of luck. But isn't it also an option that they are doing great work in scouting and developing players? If a club has substantial success relative to their overall spendings, I would say that they are doing a great job instead of being lucky. It is indeed undermining the hypothetical concept that money leads to success definitely. They are proving that you can do more with less and while I would say luck could play a role if they have an outlier result, I think Brighton primarily really did a good job.
They are lucky and make good use of technology. Reportedly they have an application to collect data related to players. They named the app Starlizard. So they buy players based on data. The previous 2 seasons they were not worried about losing players, so now they have pretty good players like Ferguson, Mitoma, Dahoud, Baleba, and Verbruggen. They divide three categories in player purchases. Player purchases for the present, future purchases and purchases for the future are more long-term.

If Al-Duhail is the star's next destination, hopefully he can play well for the club injury-free. His fate is almost the same as Eden Hazard, Coutinho is slightly better because he returned to the EPL with Aston Villa. Steven Gerrard rescued him from Barcelona, and brought him back to England hoping Coutinho can rediscover his magic. Until now Coutinho was included in the list of players with fantastic prices in the world when he was recruited, but failed to live up to expectations. He is the same age as Neymar and both defend Brazil, coincidentally both of them are also often injured. Maybe by joining Al Duhail a club from Qatar, he can find his best game again. The end of a moving career for the former Liverpool retainer, i hope the best for him.
