Am quite shocked to hear of De Gea having to consider retirement so early on. Buffon stayed longer and aged gracefully at Juve, I wonder why he left Manchester United in the first place. Onana replacement of him meant he got a better opportunity somewhere else as everyone thought, perhaps a move to MLS will be better suited for him because he looks like someone who is picky and very detailed.

David De Gea's career has never been so bad that he has to retire. He is now 32 years old but he is still good enough as a goalkeeper and he performs very well as a goalkeeper so he deserves an offer from a good club at the moment. Why did David De Gea decide to retire if no European club offered him, there are many other clubs outside of Europe that he could join if he wanted to. 

I don't understand what is the problem with Messi going out of Europe where Neymar and Ronaldo and other stars are out of Europe. Performing at a club outside of Europe is no worse than retiring. Still, if he wants to go to a club outside Europe, he can join a club outside Europe at a good price.

But the European League in my opinion is still a better scenario, because they also have the opportunity to be at the top of the table if they stay on their current form. Since Erik Ten Hag and Jadon Sancho has no mutual understanding, one of them has got to leave. Sancho will be forced to leave since he hasn't been training with the team and won't be featured in any of the games ahead. Still not satisfied with Eriks approach to this matter, two good wingers down and Sancho as the perfect man for that wing axed makes no sense.

For goal keeper, 32 years is not old because many top goals keeper keep consistency although have been 40 years old, I don't think with disappointed performance with Andre Onana but Manchester United have bad performance with their defender. It's very sad to hear rumors that De Gea has to hang up his boots when no European club wants to buy this player and it seems to me that De Gea has no confidence in ever getting to a top club again.
But I can understand De Gea state of mind because he has been at Manchester United for almost a decade and this season seems to have been wasted without getting a replacement from an established club and I will not blame Manchester United because a club would prefer to replace more qualified players. Nobody knows what is actually going on with him. All that we know is that he is training hard without a team and is free on the market. It's a tough spot for him but he has to face that alone. I think he might be able to get himself signed if he is willing to adjust a little with his wages. I don't think retirement rumours are true, he still has lot to give.

It's so sad to see that a keeper of such quality is training alone without any team I think a good goalie like David De Gea should be keeping in one of the big teams but i don't understand why no club ended up signing him even as a free agent, I think De Gea would had been willing to reduce his wages just to secure a spot in a team and continues his goal keeping career because training alone at the moment without any team is not beneficial to his career in any way.

I think De Gea just needs to be more patient, there should be some offers in the next transfer window. Sure, 32 is not too old, even a goalkeeper can have a career until 40 years old. I also don't hear that De Gea has a serious problem with his fitness, he ever rarely got injured problems. So, there is no strong reason for De Gea to retire very soon. Onana, Manchester United's replacement for David de Gea, has been disappointing with his performance. I think the football gods have punished both sides. David de Gea's return to Manchester United could solve many problems. Even if he doesn't transfer to Manchester United, I hope he gets a chance to play for any club and continues to play football.

David de Gea at age 32 is not too old when it comes to keeping, and still has quite a good number of years left in his career if you compare him with the likes of Keeper as Buffon who was still agile in keeping even towards when age is no longer by his side.
IMO, De Gea moving to a new club would be a better option for his future career than thinking of coming back to Man United, he will have more opportunities to lift a trophy should he move to a better club than Man Utd.

Age is the advantage that goalkeepers have over players when it comes to the football career. Apart from coaches who always be in the the business even when they are old, other set of people are goalkeepers. Manchester United is also known for keeping their goalkeeper till old age as in the case of Edwin van der Sar. Counting on this David De Gea is barely 32 years, which means he still has more time to keep in his professional career. He could simply sign for any other club to keep for but I do not support the idea that he should return to Manchester United while they have already signed a new goalkeeper. It will be a very big controversy and pressure to both keepers.
