A winter transfer would be like comedy considering that PSG did everything in their power to not sell him during the past summer transfer window. Via his official Instagram account, Eden Hazard has announced that he is retiring from football. Previously we knew he had retired from the Belgian national team and now he added that he had ended his career playing football as a whole, including for clubs. After 16 years and more than 700 games he has officially stepped away from the sport he loves so much and I really appreciate his decision. Everyone knows that when he was in his prime he suffered a prolonged injury and that caused him to experience a decline in performance. During his 4 seasons at Real Madrid he spent most of his time on the bench and since then he began to lose hope of continuing to play football. The only thing we remember is of course his prime time when he was still at Chelsea and it was a very extraordinary moment at that time. I didn't really expect he will have retired by now. I thought he will still want to carry on with his career. Although, 16 years down the lane is not a small thing. That's really some lots of years spent as a career footballer.
