Via his official Instagram account, Eden Hazard has announced that he is retiring from football. Previously we knew he had retired from the Belgian national team and now he added that he had ended his career playing football as a whole, including for clubs. After 16 years and more than 700 games he has officially stepped away from the sport he loves so much and I really appreciate his decision. Everyone knows that when he was in his prime he suffered a prolonged injury and that caused him to experience a decline in performance. During his 4 seasons at Real Madrid he spent most of his time on the bench and since then he began to lose hope of continuing to play football. The only thing we remember is of course his prime time when he was still at Chelsea and it was a very extraordinary moment at that time. What shame are you talking about, you can't blame him for having countless injuries for trying to fight for the club he had a contract for.
