I wouldn't consider any price to be unreasonable. The total amount they will pay for him will be determined by how anxious Chelsea or any other club is for him to join them. When a player is worth buying, their price should not be a factor in preventing a team from acquiring them, unless the team cannot afford the price and the club selling the player is using that to scare them away from buying the player. Yes Messi wouldn’t be coming to Barcelona anytime soon for something like a money, Messi went to Inter Miami in the MLS just to avoid the crisis Barcelona is in now as he doesn’t wants to dampen the club further more financially. Barcelona are still not yet off that financial crisis as we learnt that players like Joao Felix even took a heavy cut to play for the club, even the number of players that were brought on loan shows they lack the financial strength still.

Messi’s inter Miami are out of the MLS playoffs which means that Messi will miss a lots of time playing a competitive game and that could actually affect his game although I disagree because of his standards. And as such many people are the ones presenting a path for him to actually come back to Barca and participate with them on loan till the regular MLS season begins again.
