I can't be sure about anything when it comes to Kaoru Mitoma honestly. Because the progress he has made so far is really big. Brighton signed him for only 3 million euros but he has increased his value to 50 million euros in a year. Of course coming to one of the biggest European leagues already increases it but his great performance has also been effective.

He still has 4 more years on his contract. However signing for bigger teams might still attract him quite much next summer. I wonder whether Brighton can hold onto him.

Next two seasons, Kaoru Mitoma leaving Brighton shouldn't be and will not be difficult to see happening. Just the way Brighton placed outrageous valuations on Caicedo when he pressured moving towards Chelsea, I do think they're following same strategy with Mitoma.
I'm not so sure they would be at this level for another two seasons. This is done so whenever that time arrives, they would place a huge fee on him the club wanting him more would make crazy moves and move money to see him joining. I kinda have that feeling it would be Manchester United.

Before bringing in a player like Mitoma, Pellistri and Jadon Sancho would be sold out, for they will have to create chances for him to get more playing game time for Manchester United.
