^ I still think that Luka Modrić could actually play one more season for Real Madrid because we should remember that he peaked into his 30s. I don't quite get why some players are great at some places and not so great at other places, even under different managers. It is simple to just say that the transfers were all flops and didn't work out, but if the coach is the problem and has no plan how to integrate the new players into the team and how to give them a chance to prove themselves, transfers in any transfer period can become a problem. Whatever their plan is for Griezmann, it is a risky transfer for Griezmann as he knows how everything went with Sancho.

Antoine Griezmann to Manchester United, I've a feeling that deal will not take place because there's definitely alot of things that could go run, because Atletico Madrid needs the Frenchman, he's key player in the frontline and moving to English league will mean huge adaptation for Griezmann. Signing players that turn into flops at the end of the day is something that's concerning. Manchester United keep making stupid move if this rumor went true, Griezmann is already old which mean they can't use Griezmann for long term prospect. Every club will want to protect its key players and make it very difficult for other clubs to attract them. Real Madrid is good at making their players almost impossible to sign. Vinicius Junior, Eder Militao, Eduardo Camavinga and others have about €1Billoin release clause. Real Madrid have learned from the loss of Karim Benzema to the Al-Ittihad without them making any returns from the striker. The drama between PSG and Kylian Mbappé over his transfer and the possibility of the club letting him go without receiving any transfer fee might have also spurred Manchester City to consider giving Erling Haaland an extended contract.

The outcome of this contract proposal will depend on the plans of the Norwegian striker and the terms and conditions of the contract. I am surprised as there is this rumor going around, but I think what could make sense is if Haaland has some special clauses that the club wants to buy him out of. If he has some release clauses allowing him to leave for a predefined amount of money to specific clubs, there is still a financial incentive for the club to pay him and get the clause deleted. But as has been said here before, the least important thing in Haaland's career at the moment is his contract. There is really no reason for him to think about and deal with any modalities of his contract.

It's nothing new if City tries to offer him a new contract with various incentives offered to him, because previously similar rumors have been circulating for the past few months if I'm not mistaken. The point is that City wants to continue anticipating unwanted situations, even though the City star has a contract until 2027. I'm quite sure, Manchester City's focus is on trying to remove Haaland's release clause which reaches 200 million euros.

Manchester United are always rumoured to be following several players during transfer windows like this,the names that are mentioned this time around are prolific names that if Manchester United can make those deals materialise,they can do well, and another question that needs to be asked is,do they really have the right coach that can turn the club into a tittle contending club? We are not going to be having some discussion because often the more I see them, the less chance I think they even happen. Haaland might be having a new contract possibly his future with Manchester City but saying it will take time, I doubt unless if Guardiola will be so patient to wait that longer because I'm very sure that Manchester City need him more, they will not allow another club present checks on his face.
