Just a few days after Chelsea signed Gitten from Dortmund. They're signing Pedro from Brighton. I feel surprised because they have signed a lot while they have sold a few.

However, i can't this signing as a good transfe. It's because pedro has been so mid, and disappointed with the way Chelsea is preferring to focus on quantity instead of quality.

It's ridiculous signing for sure, and at this point, why don't they buy Brighton instead? 

So, how many players Chelsea will have for the next season?

Since they sign Joao Pedro, they have three active strikers: Jackson, Delap and Pedro, this is a definition of wasting money. I think this is another bad signing, we didn't see Pedro improved a lot, instead his performance decline lately, he's not even play for national team.

Jamie Gittens is similar like Pedro, his performance just so-so.

The problem with United isn't that they have players that are "not good" it is the fact that most of the players end up being bad at United, and better at other clubs. In this case, Mbuemo seems like a decent enough player, scored about 20 goals or so right? And had some good assists as well, and that was at Brentford, so if you put him at some club like Liverpool or City whatever, then he would do even better probably because he would have better teammates around him.

But when you put a player in United, they instantly become worse, and that's the issue. Like people dislike Hojlund for being bad this season, correct? And yet, he was great when he first arrived, and he was great over at Serie A, it was United that made him worse. If the same will happen, no need to spend this much on a new player. First they need to figure out what the issue is.

True, you have a point there. Most of the players signing for Manchester United are actually good players and very talented but turn out to be flops after joining United and it boosts my curiosity to want tk know why, could it be that the club is cursed and anything that comes through it gets affected and the shocking part is, immediately these players move to different clubs they begin to excel.

I did expected Chelsea to sign a winger because Sancho needs to be replaced, and what am hearing is that Christopher nkuku will be sold, if the right price came in, but am still a little bit skeptical of the quality of your Joao Pedro because I haven't seen him play, and secondly his numbers like goals and assist is not that too impressive for him to be tag as high quality player, but nevertheless if he's given the fair chance next season, he might prove all of us wrong and even give a better numbers like goals and assist than Sancho.

Chelsea has been active in the transfer market, signing new talents and young ones too therefore Chelsea are already looking for replacement for some of the areas they didn't have strength in. I guess they will have like 36++ players next season. It's so damn big as a football squad. Even enough to form three squads.

That's why i think how they focus on quantity instead of quality. I'd rather see them to bring Osimhen to the london, instead of signing Pedro and Gittens. It's hard to understand the way their management is thinking.

Indeed, Sancho's performance has declined greatly and I don't think he is not serious about being able to perform at his top performance, but it is not easy for him to get back after he slumped at Man United.

I have less to say about the Viktor Gyökeres saga. What I'm sure of is that, in the month July,  both deals for Bryan Mbeumo and Viktor Gyökeres should be a wrap.. When you look at the formation of Manchester United last season or should I say that of Ruben Amorim,  its a 3-4-2-1 formation.  The back line should be  Heaven,  De Ligt & Mazraoui in my opinion,  the double man midfield and wingbacks will be Dorgu, Casemiro at the moment Bruno Fernandez and then Amad Diallo. Cunha and Mbeumo as the double 10 and then, either Zirkzee or the incoming striker for the number 9 position.

Ruben Amorim is doing good job for Manchester United because after having humiliating season and worst ever results now it's time for catching up with few things which will give them good chance of good results their attack and defense both were terrible.

Now if they are able to have Gyokeres then surely it's going to be huge boost for them because he is goal machine in Portuguese League while also have good experience of playing under Ruben Amorim while having good midfield surely going to have much better chances of scoring goals. Zirkzee is going to be had 9 position because he is also under strategy of Ruben for Manchester United good future with Bryan Mbeumo is also going to be good to add in this squad many are also looking for departure.

Delap, Pedro and Jamie Gittens are all talented young players, but they are very far from proving themselves on the big stage, and with such players you don't know what to expect.

This Chelsea team is filled with exciting young talents and it would be a joy to watch them play, but i am afraid i don't think they have the maturity or experience to win any major trophy.

Of the three names, Jackson is the one I don't want in Maressca's first choice.
Delap has shown his performance so far and has the potential to be good when the Premier League runs later.
Don't look because Joao Pedro doesn't play for the national team, but during the 2024/2025 season with Brighton, Joao Pedro has a role that cannot be ignored.

It will be different when Joao Pedro plays at a club as big as Chelsea. Later Joao Pedro will be a good player at Stamford Bridge. Neto on the right and Pedro on the left to help Delap up front.

Ruud is one of the most unfortunate coach in recent times if not the most, ever since he resigned from the Dutch league where he coached PSV and won several titles he's been finding it tough to get more good records, his biggest mistake is taking the role of an interim coach at Manchester United cause they didn't retain him but instead chose Amorim, it then forced him to accept the offer of an almost relegated Leicester City cause he wanted remaining in England to manage a Premier league team, that was another wrong move and if he had known he would've returned to the Dutch league or wait till this season to coach any available Premier League team in a fresh season. It's not his fault that he couldn't save Leicester from relegation, it's a difficult task but then I don't blame Leicester City for sacking him.

Tis is so true. I cant remember the last time Ruud had a good season after leaving dutch, maybe that was around 2023 at PSV.

However, the idea of taking the internship job at Manchester United was not a mistake, if anything, that would have boost his CV it wasn't a problem to him. The real problem Ruud have is the eagerness to stay in the EPL, I dont know if he wants to prove something or what. Going to Leicester, thinking he can lift the thing had a bad effect on his career. Sometimes last season, I think during pre season, Chelsea players were training on the pitch and they were so many, one might mistake them for a school of fish. The club Chelsea has so many players in their ranks and I wonder what they are doing with so many squad. They have players on loan scattered all over clubs in Europe and they are still buying more every transfer window. I won't be surprised if it's actually Chelsea that has the most players in available in the whole continent because I haven't heard of a club that has so many players. These are not even players from the youth team.

I think Arsenal are still not on the right track, they don't seem to have made any serious moves to improve their squad depth. Arteta needs a pure centre forward, better than Gabriel Jesus, but there's no sign of Arsenal reaching an agreement for any of the players that have been rumored. Osimhen, Viktor Gyokeres, Benjamin Sesko, even Dusan Vlahovic are all decent strikers to target, but Arsenal have been slow to move in the transfer market. The players they've signed have been good enough, but what they need more is a number 9. Besides, I don't think Hugo Ekitike is better than Gabriel Jesus.
