Lopez in a bid to lure him away from the Catalan club but Barcelona insists that his happy and wouldn't want to leave and they themselves are not interested in selling him anytime soon.

I don’t think this transfer is going to happen, Chelsea are showing interest in the player, and I think Barcelona are not ready to let him go now, because Hamsi Flick still sees him as part of his plans for the season, so I’m seeing a situation where he has to stay put, I feel Chelsea are interested in this transfer because they lost out to Xavi Simons to Tottenham, and Chelsea already made a proposal to Barcelona at the amount of €40million, and that is a bad proposal and Barcelona aren’t going to accept that for one of their talented players, I think if Todd Boehly wants that player he has to go higher than that before Barcelona can even listen to their proposal, so right now I don’t see how possible the transfer could go through considering that Chelsea aren’t ready to go higher than that valuation.

Chelsea's in many competitions this season including the Champions league so anything that would increase the depth and avoid the team from being weak when injuries and fatigue start happening to players, I'm in support of them doing it for the team to be successful this season, even though I'm not quite sure they'll reach the Champions League final but if they can go far in the competition and win a trophy, it would be a successful season for the team.

 Lopez is a rising star, he's gained lots of experience under Flick and turning into a future talent, he'll be a good addition to Chelsea but Barcelona is the problem holding this deal from happening, they too need their depth to be strong so I doubt if they'll give one of their finest youngsters to Chelsea especially now that the window is almost over and there's little time to scout a proper replacement.

I believe if Chelsea really wants this player they will be able to get him if not in this summer transfer window maybe next summer they will be able to get him because the interest is concrete as the player really suits Chelsea’s philosophy of rebuilding by recruiting young talents into the team that really matched with their wage structures. Fermin lopes is a player of such qualities and attributes which suits Chelsea’s style, they missed out on the signing of xavi Simon’s to Tottenham, although they never really made any concrete offer to the player and his camp even though the player already made it clear that he wants to join Chelsea. So for Chelsea to make an offer of £40m on fermine lopes it shows they are serious and really wants the player to join and if not this season, then next summer Chelsea will get him.

Garnacho doesn't really care about in what position the club he is moving. He only wanted to play in the UCL. That's the reason he moved there. You know how Amorim abandoned him at MU, and even gave him no minutes. He made it right by moved to the Chelsea to improve his career as he's still 21 years old.

Garnacho even in this worse form is better than Mount in my books, he can open up spaces and at the same time a better footballer than Mount. I wonder why Amorim will chose to keep Mount and sell players like Garnacho and Rashford who are both better than Mount. Chelsea's proposal was obviously too low for Fermin. That's a sense reason for Barcelona don't even care to it. If it was like €70m - 80m, i believe Barca would consider it and maybe selling him. Sending €40m bid for Ferming is pretty much the same like insulting Barca, thought, in fact, Barca is also in trouble financially.

I believe that the results of the last Premier League games have made the Manchester United manager realize that the goalkeepers he currently has don't have the skills to play for Manchester United, or they have the skills but aren't making much of an effort to play well. In my opinion, this move by the Manchester United manager is very wise, as Emiliano Martinez is a good goalkeeper, with his aggressive temperament. It will be good because he will get the defense to play very well. I hope Manchester United can sign him as soon as possible.

There's a news flying around that Jose Mourinho has been sacked by Fenerbahçe after 15 months of an unsuccessful attempt to move the club forward. I knew this was going to happen, but it came in even more quicker than I thought. Teams are beginning to realize that it's not really about the agent's name, neither is about their legacies in different leagues -- it's about their most recent successes and an ability to perform more after the contract has been signed.

Unfortunately the news is true, the news broke two days after Fenerbahce failed to achieve Champions League football qualification. For a while Mourinho has frequently found himself against the league refrees and more, it always seemed to me that it will end this way so it didn’t really come as a shock to me. One of main problem in the football transfer these days is inflation. Time flies so fast in football. I'm getting shocked when Newcastle paid 90m for a striker who came from nowhere. Meanwhile, 90m could give us Ronaldo at 2009. It seems the inflation in football is uncontrollable.
Sometimes, i think football these days much more on business instead of passion. Priced a player that literally no one’s heard of close to the 100m is so crazy as hell. Things worsen when Newcastle agreed to buy him.

We may be seeing 4th tier player may be priced millions soon.

They know this is likely to be mission impossible, they know too well that Barcelona won't sell him but they decide to try luck but quite unfortunate they run out of that same luck, for the past few seasons Chelsea have sign more than fifty players and and still willing to sign more, I can see it's all a race for the English premier League title but trust me they can't have it with this kind of format, first they should go get Nicolas Jackson first from Bayern Munich because Bayern Munich don't need him, before they think of adding more.

Their inability to qualify for the Champions League might have contributed to the reason why the Portuguese coach was sacked.  They played good football in the first leg but struggled in the second leg in Lisbon. Jose would have to reevaluate his coaching strategy because it seems not to be working effectively.

Of course, Mourinho's dismissal was due to his failure to lead Fenerbahce to qualify for the 2024/2025 Champions League league phase, a 1-0 aggregate defeat to Benfica in the playoff round was the reason Fenerbahce management terminated their cooperation with Mourinho. It seems Mourinho magic is starting to become ineffective in modern football, before joining the Turkish club, he was also fired by AS Roma in early 2024. Mourinho is not the first person to be sacked at the start of the 2025/2026 season. Previously, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was also fired by Besiktas after failing to qualify for the UEFA Conference League phase.

No matter what happens history will always remain and Mourinho has made history with his unforgettable achievements and impact on the game. Football this days is centered around winning trophies and qualification to play European football, you are either getting them or getting sacked and unfortunately Mourinho is facing the harsh reality of modern day football.

If this statistics is true about this two goalkeepers, then it is better Manchester United stick to using their Onana for next season rather then depending on Martinez as the best replacement for him. Again, if we want to check from the clubs each of them are playing for, Martinez will concede more goals than Onana will because of the nature of their players and how strong their defence are. I hope this deal goes through even if it does seems to look like something that is impossible for now. If Martinez is only good at saving penalties, then it’ll be of no use singing him as replacement for Onana. I hope they’re making the right move that will be in the interest of the whole club to prosper this season.

Chelsea has just cancelled out Jackson's supposed €15 million loan move to Bayern Munich. Chelsea phone and requested Jackson to turn back to England after Liam Delap got injured today in the Chelsea Vs Fulham fixture. Delap will be sidelined for 6 - 8 weeks. Could this be a chance for Jackson to prove himself to his club?

I was alerted of this new development and I kept wondering what Chelsea were thinking when they decided to ship Nicolas Jackson off to Germany on loan, just an early injury to Delap and they are running back to the same player they rejected. If I was Jackson will not return to the club rather I will force a move away.

Actually Galatasaray has already been in talks for him. They have reached an agreement with Manchester City too but still no green light on the player side...

The 30 year old has unfortunately not found favor wit Guardiola this season and is expected to leave the club this summer. The news of Alejandro Garnacho's move from Manchester United to Chelsea came as quite a surprise, considering he was one of United's most promising young players.

I wasn’t surprised about the move, I know Garnacho is a young promising players which Manchester United were not suppose to allow him go, but the reason why Amorim wants him to leave the club is due to Garnacho attitude, he has a very bad attitude, and that’s why Manchester United just allowed him to leave the club. He is always complaining about the coach decision which is really bad. I just hope Garnacho will change now that he is at Chelsea, if he doesn’t change his attitude, then maybe he will end up spending most of his time at Chelsea on bench, because no coach will want to work with a player with bad character.

Yet another Transfer window deadline and yet another Adrien Rabiot move again, I had thoughts Rabiot would have at least an home and will be  staying for long at his country home with Marseille but no he still didn’t and now had fallen out De Zerbi after he was actually involved in a fight with a fellow player. Yet again his mother/agent defended him. It was actually Manchester United that wanted to sign him last season instead of Urgate but that didn’t go through because of the mother.

It is a good deal for him considering how there is lack of depth in the AC Milan team and how much they will need a holding midfielder. I think he will settle in perfectly with Allegri there.

I'm a bit surprised by Chelsea transfer strategy, they seem to want to sign every talented young player. Hansi Flick has said he will try to keep Fermin Lopez, but he hasn't ruled out the possibility that Barcelona might sell him if they receive an attractive offer. Barcelona financial situation isn't fully stable yet, and Chelsea might be looking to take advantage of that, thinking Barcelona would let Fermin Lopez go for a low price. With the transfer window closing soon, Newcastle is also reportedly joining the race to sign Fermin Lopez.
