He might still need adaptation, but I'm pretty sure he'll return to his standout performance (like when he played for PSG).

By the way, apart from Manchester City, their rivals (Manchester United) have also just signed a new goalkeeper. The young Belgian goalkeeper was bought by MU from Royal Antwerp for 21 million Euros.

Actually PSG didn't want him anymore because for Luis Enrique he wasn't good enough with his feet. But in this condition I actually still think that the deal with Xavi Simons is even more profitable when compared to Eze because seeing the price Arsenal spent on Eze and Xavi Simons for Tottenham is not much different even Xavi Simons is cheaper so this is clearly an advantage when looking at the statistics given.

Not that Eze is bad he is also very good for the size of the player but in the end when the comparison is Xavi Simons then I think Xavi Simons is slightly better.

Indeed in terms of EPL experience Eze has more experience but Xavi also if given good conditions in the conditions of other players in terms of chemistry and the coach is quite capable of restoring Xavi Simons' performance then in the end this will be more worth it for me.

Donnarumma is a goalkeeper that I hope can be in jersey uniform because the goalkeeper's teeth that are included in the criteria that I estimate are almost similar to Edwin van Der Sar's style. But that was the thrill of negotiations and at the end of all speculations occurred.

I think the move is now officially off and Fermin Lopez will be staying with Barcelona throughout the season and Chelsea might go again if they still see him as a potential target in the next transfer window. Barcelona and Hansi Flick definitely still want him at the club and the player also probably wants to keep playing at Barcelona else he would have forced the move out. Chelsea wanted him because they needed more squad depth and also since Xavi Simons move failed they needed another person to come in but now I think they got Buonanotte from Brighton on loan, he is a good player and will definitely fill in the space. I doubt if Chelsea will bid higher for Fermin Lopez.

They got Isak and Guehi, after splashing money on Wirtz and Ekitike I think they mean business this season but I just hope most of these players succeeds and not flop. Wirtz so far hasn't performed to expectations but the season just started so let's see how his adaptation will be. Liverpool will definitely be a strong team with all this recruitments.

Wanting a goalkeeper who is good with his feet doesn't mean the keeper shouldn't be able to make saves; it means he has to do both.
The way the team plays, they play from the back and having a keeper at the back who isn't good with the ball on his feet is a disadvantage. The keeper needs to be comfortable on the ball even when he is pressed, because if he meets a team that presses very well, instead of gently passing the ball to his teammates, he will shoot it out, and the ball might get to an opponent who will have a chance to score. Even if it gets to a teammate, there will be no rhythm in the way they play if the ball is constantly launched in the air by the keeper.

The only problem is, he is now heading to a team that requires the keeper to play from the back, so if he was not good for that system at PSG, how will he be good at it in City? Which leads me to conclude that there is more than we know. I don't think the reason he's leaving is because he is not good with the ball on his feet; there is more.
My theory is that they saw a younger keeper who was potentially better, and they needed to take him before another club does, and since he could not be second choice, they had to sell Donnarumma because there is no way a player like him earning about 12 million a year will be a second choice.

It was already obvious that Isak wanted a move to Anfield just that Newcastle delayed the deal till now that they are finalizing the contract. Liverpool is trying to act like Real Madrid because any player they want to sign they make sure they go extra length to sign him. Indeed Liverpool has spent a lot of money in the summer transfer window but despite that they are leading the premier league table, i feel there area of interest is in the Champions League hence the reason why they spent so much money on quality signings that will boost the team's performance. Despite that Liverpool spent so much in the transfer market, they should have also given their defense priority because the goals they conceded in the first 2 matches were really not encouraging, maybe in the next transfer window they might consider signing quality defenders. However, i also commend Newcastle for reaching an agreement with Liverpool on the signing of Alexander Isak because it almost caused a rift between Isak and the club.

Chelsea has just cancelled out Jackson's supposed €15 million loan move to Bayern Munich. Chelsea phone and requested Jackson to turn back to England after Liam Delap got injured today in the Chelsea Vs Fulham fixture. Delap will be sidelined for 6 - 8 weeks. Could this be a chance for Jackson to prove himself to his club?

I was alerted of this new development and I kept wondering what Chelsea were thinking when they decided to ship Nicolas Jackson off to Germany on loan, just an early injury to Delap and they are running back to the same player they rejected. If I was Jackson will not return to the club rather I will force a move away.

The reason why he was been shipped was very obvious, it wasn't even supposed to be a loan deal it's just that they couldn't get a buyer for him as no club actually wanted to buy him. Loan deal was the next option and I think it was only Bayern Munich that showed interest. What is baffling is canceling it because Delap was injured and out for 6 - 8 weeks. Now that Jackson is no longer leaving, what will happen to him in the team when Delap recovers and joins the team? What exactly will be Jackson's fate in the team afterwards?

Wut? I heard Crystal Palace rejected the offer.

This signing is very surprising because Guehi perform very well recently and Liverpool only spent for 35 Million Euros to get him. Guehi is very talented defender, it's good Liverpool do pay attention with their defending line despite they're very aggressive signing forward players.

They've sign Isak too, there's no way for Liverpool to not become a champion in this season.
