I really do commend the way they are doing business, this club was issued almost £60 millions in sales in order to register some sets of players but they achieved this when they sold Madueke to Arsenal for £50 million plus and one other player which I can't recall his name right now and that was how they came up the money from players sales. And that's not even all, they are the same time generated more money from players sales during the transfer window, I'm not even going to talk about the money that came from the CWC tournament that they recently won. In a nutshell, Chelsea is spending money and at the same time making enough money simultaneously.

Martinez's Premier League experience is no doubt an edge, but investing in a young goalkeeper with prospect is much better. Martinez is 33 years old and would have cost United around €35-€40 million, while Lammens is 23 years old, that's a huge difference of 10 years and his stats are quite good. I know the Premier League is different from the Jupiter Pro League, but gambling on Lammens is a risk worth taking.

I also watched a video detailing Lammens blunders making me doubt he'll be any better than Onana or Bayindir. Man United should be pursuing a goalkeeper like Martinez or Ederson who are starting to be sidelined at Man City especially with the arrival of Donna. This should be an opportunity for Man United to sign Ederson who is starting to be sidelined at Man City.

Man United also needs to bring in a stronger defender. No matter how good a goalkeeper is if their defense is weak they'll still easily concede goals ultimately making them the scapegoat. What's happening with Onana now is that he's starting to be sidelined, and Man United needs to address this because he's never been able to recover. Essentially no matter how good a goalkeeper is if their defense isn't solid and reliable their performance will worsen and they'll often make blunders.

Chelsea have had a lot of great players that graduated from their academy and are now big names in other clubs. The business of football has really favoured them and despite their purchase in the transfer window, they’ve still been able to make this much inflow from sale of players.

I really commend Chelsea team because with their squad depth now, they’re one of the top teams to be able to stand a chance for the premier league title including the champions league title. I thought I was going to see Dortmund in the list, but it seems they were not able to grow much big players last season to be put up for sale this season. By now he must have watched that video a couple times. If the video influences his performance in Manchester United poorly, I guess he is not a professional goalie and is not qualified to play for any club not even in the lowest division.

The same goes for Onana. He lost his confidence because everyone lost faith in him. Poor defense in the club also led to is poor performance. At least if Manchester United had a better defense most of is error will be covered up.

From what understand, Aston Villa was asking for more money and for that reason United couldn't follow through with the deal.

I know every goalkeeper makes mistakes and Lammens is not different but I'm sure he's a better upgrade than Onana and Bayindir. He's really talented, and reminds me of DDG.

He's young but don't judge him by a comps of all his career blunders, I also watched some clips not a big fan but for the benefit of doubt the United fans needs to back him up. I'm surprised they ended up with such a younger goalkeeper in a market where both Donna and Martinez were literally put on for sales. Went for both of them initially and ended up with inexperienced Lammens on deadline.

I like Chelsea’s mentality, not just to be a selling club to make profits by players sale, they also have the winning mentality. I’m not sure most clubs will be able to go through the phase Chelsea went through in the past 3- 4 seasons and still manage to be this successful not just in terms of the profit in players sale but also they were able to win some major trophies including the recently concluded FIFA club World Cup, the UEFA conference league and secured a top four finish in the premier league which means they will be back playing the UEFA champions league. This is a Chelsea team that’s undergoing a rebuild from a new owner. Almost all the entire squad was changed, the management and staffs are new, they bring in new players to the team, a very young squad but talented with little experience but they have managed to turn things around within a couple of 2-3 seasons and are now regarded as one of the team challenging for the premier league title this season, and also amongst the favorites to go far in the champions league this season also. I think clubs like Manchester United can rebuild this same way that Chelsea is doing and get back to where the club used to be.

This is quite understandable because Martinez is quite open and we know his capabilities and experience compared to Senne Lammens in the EPL, so even though bringing in a new goalkeeper at this point is a very good move, there is of course a risk because it is still a gamble for Manchester United in the end.

However, on the other hand, it wouldn't be Manchester United if they didn't think outside the box, as they have done before with similar moves, such as letting Carreras go to Benfica in hopes of relying more on Luke Shaw, or when they quietly pushed De Gea out and replaced him with Onana. Currently it appears that Manchester United have signed the Belgian youth player as their goalkeeper but before signing this player for around £18.2 million plus and add-ons we strongly believed they might put the Argentine goalkeeper on their priority list. However this player is currently not getting regular opportunities for Aston Villa Football Club because their team was previously defeated by Crystal Palace, even the  Aston villa coach benched him in that match. In my opinion the Argentine player would literally be far ahead of the Belgian player in terms of experience, but Man United may not have included him in the team due to his age but it seems that Manchester United believe their new signing player will be a mainstay of their team for a few years.

I agree with you, nowadays it's better to invest in Younger players, Martinez is not young anymore and after a few seasons they will still end up looking for another goalkeeper to sign again which we know how troublesome that can be.
Let's just hope and pray that Lammens adapts easily and solve their goalkeeping problems. It's the best choice instead of getting Martinez. Martinez has more experienced and might offer them more quality in post but Lammens is the best choice for the long term. He will definitely grow and also increase in experience with time.  We shouldn't always look down on young players, Petrovic was signed from USA league and despite his young age he came in still did well in his first season.

What has helped them well all this while is the low wages that their players are on and this actually helps them to negotiate on higher transfer fee for players unlike the likes the lack of Manchester United and other club who finds it’s hard to offload players because of their high wages. Chelsea are good in this business and they just don’t keep so many players and not benefit form them in the long run, they’ve really profited from this transfer window and they still stand at a very good chance of having one of the best teams in the world today. They will fight for the premier league trophy and also the champions league trophy this season, and their chances of winning them both is quite high because of how strong their squad looks and formidable for this new season. I just hope they maintain a good game throughout the season.

Media are distractions to players that really wants to be distracted by them. Just focus on the game and allow them to continue making you popular in the media space. If you really want to be getting back at every media banter and jokes against you, you may not be able to perform optimally because you’ll always be thinking too much about how to avoid mistakes to not be called out again, which that itself is a distraction to actually make you fail. Focus on the game and be the best of yourself.
