Liverpool has become  the record-breaking transfer team with the arrival of Isak.

Liverpool was very ambitious to sign Alexander trying to get him to join before the transfer window closed or even Liverpool's offer had been rejected by Newcastle. And in the end, Liverpool managed to sign Isak to strengthen their team. There's a possibility that Isak will play as a lone striker if Liverpool uses a 4-2-3-1 formation. But I personally prefer to see Slot try using a 4-4-2 or 4-2-2-2 formation when chasing goals. And I can't imagine how Arne Slot would arrange this formation for their players. Maybe Slot's plan is to pair Isak with Salah, where Isak's unpredictable movements can capitalize on Salah's passes to create goals. Meanwhile, Florian Wirtz seems to need more adaptation time to Liverpool's style of play and that of their opponents. Well let's see what happens in the upcoming matches, where Liverpool has undoubtedly prepared for with a new lineup and rotation.

He is prone to mistakes and unreliable at times. The good thing about him is that when he decides to step up, he can be very good, but he's not consistent with it.
Chevalier is also a very good keeper. I guess you haven't watched him much, that's why you rate him so less.

Two players can be agemates but peak at different times. One playing 10 years before the other doesn't necessarily mean he is better. There are players who are 27, yet a 20-year-old player may be better than them. According to PSG at this point in their career, Chevalier is better than Donnarumma.

This statement here is born out of sentiment, cavalier is no where near the level of donnarumma talkless of being better than him presently, if not for the clashes that donnarumma has with Luis Enrique, do you think they would even have that thought of selling him off? No.
And I believe that psg wouldn't have even entertain any interest in him. It's true that chevalier is a good promising goalkeeper but right now, he is not in the same league as donnarumma, so let that sink, let's not be talking about this with sentiment, if donnarumma and chevalier is kept aside and you are given the option to choose any of them, I believe that you will always go for donnarumma because in as much as he is experience, he is still a better goalkeeper than chevalier presently.

£40m is a very high price for Martinez, and I don't think it's worth it considering Emiliano Martínez is already old (if Man United buys him, it is likely that he will retire there in the future, or if he leaves one day, his price will drop drastically). Therefore, Man United chose Senne Lammens because the price was much cheaper, and it could also be an investment.

I'm just a bit surprised why Man United didn't try to go after Donnarumma, though there were rumors that Donnarumma was interested in playing for Man United (before he was linked with Man City). Besides that, Donnarumma's price is not that high, and Man City only spent £26m to get Donnarumma's signature.

In the picture the price is in pounds, in euros it is actually 277 million.
On paper, it's hard to find any problems here, if we're talking about attack. Liverpool have strengthened excessively, but judging by the first games of the season (6 goals conceded in 4 games), Liverpool have problems with defense. I don't know how this imbalance will manifest itself over the course of the season. There are too many random factors to say anything. Remember last season when Real Madrid had already become Galacticos, but injuries ruined the whole season.

Manchester United need a good goalkeeper like Martinez that can save them in big matches, and we all know how good Martinez is in the club and for his country. Manchester United is not a serious club, and if they continue like this, they will never win a trophy in the next ten years. Martinez has already told Aston Villa that he only wants Manchester United, and Manchester United have disappointed him.

I think it is time to start blaming the club's president and board because they know nothing about football. No team will see Martinez without bidding for him, and it shows that Manchester United is so broke that they can't sign big-money players again. With the recent players that Liverpool signed into their squad, they should be able to defend the title this season. They are the only club that spent so much money in the transfer market this time. They have the quality of players to win the league for them. Liverpool shouldn't be bullies in EPL alone, they should extend that to the Champions League.

The transfer window was also about to close for Serie A teams so that must be why Atalanta wasn't also keen on letting him go. They wouldn't have been able to find a replacement while there were only hours left...

Staying at Atalanta is still not good for him in the long term though. I don't believe in Juric at all.

With Liverpool's latest signings this season, I don't see him breaking into the first eleven so the best option was to let him go to another club where he can continue playing.

There is no information about Jackson going back to Chelsea. The latest news is him joining Bayern and they even made it a public announcement as well. I am sure fans are not happy because Jackson is a terrible striker, but still as a bench player that is on the loan, it is not that bad. Think about it, next season he will be gone, so not like they have to care, plus he is only a bench player so not like he is going to play a lot of games. For someone who will only play when Kane can't play, that is not really a terrible deal.

Plus, they could always figure out a way to not even play him when Kane is out, they can replace him with others. So I am not seeing Jackson getting a ton of minutes this season. It was a good depth move and when you play as many games as Bayern plays in a season, I think that is not a bad move.

I quite understand your angle of thought, it could be the best for the club that are financially challenged, or that are planning to cut cost, but not all clubs look in that direction, because reason for their action matters, and they look beyond the money difference at times. If I were to choose myself, I will go for Martinez 100%. The age you also mentioned is just a number, is the guy not delivering at that age? Experience count here. Well, with the present status of Man U, I hope they made the right choice with Senne Lammens, the club is dire in need of a good goal keeper.

Harvey Elliot is a good player with a lot of potentials in my opinion, but does not get a lot opportunities at Liverpool. This transfer for me will benefit evert party involved. Aston Villa is getting a good player with great potentials, Liverpool is getting a good pay for player they really don't need in the squad right now and Harvey Elliot is moving to a team where he gets more plating time and hopefully develop his potentials which might even earn him a move to a bigger football club in the future.
I am.happy for him, because I have always felt he deserves more. Congratulations to Harvey Elliot.

We all know that Leverkusen and Fenerbahce have cut ties with their respective coaches. I just saw from Fabrizio post that both teams are planning to bring in Ange Postecoglou as coach. Ange may not be a top-tier coach but she capable of delivering a UEFA title to Spurs. I think she can speak volumes in both Germany and Turkey but I'm curious to know which league you think she should choose? Personally I would choose the Bundesliga because it's certainly more competitive than the Turkish league.

After selling Ederson to Fenerbahçe, Manchester City signed Gianluigi Donnarumma from PSG for €35 million.

Last night, Fenerbahçe completed the transfers of Asensio and Ederson. Ederson arrived in Istanbul today for the signing.

Galatasaray signed Uğurcan Çakır from Trabzonspor for €26.5 million.
In addition, they brought İlkay Gündoğan from Manchester City to Istanbul today to finalize his transfer.

These days Turkish teams are feeling a lot more like Arabic teams but in Europe. They do play in UCL, but they are overpaying for players. I am not saying sort of like Arabic teams in the sense that they are spending a lot of money, because there are many teams that spend a lot, I mean that in overspending kind of way. Like this goalkeeper, I have never heard before, and they are paying him 30 million? That's just throwing money away. I never remembered them begin this rich, when did they became so rich that they could have a 150+ million spending season on transfer?

These teams were the teams that spent like 10-20 a year usually, how did they get so rich suddenly? In any case, after spending all this much money, they better do great. Fenerbahce has managerial issues so far, they need a good one, but Galatasaray has consistency and a great team and spent this much, so they have no excuse, they have to win the league and be in the top 24 of UCL if they want this money to mean something.

With the arrival of Alexander Isak Liverpool are look like as serious threat to all their opponents because there were some flaws which are not fixed, and they are going to be had ability to thrash any team in any competition.

Their team depth already amazing with these new arrivals now they have much stronger offense and their defense is also impressive three London based clubs are going to challenge them for title, but it's going to be not easy for them. Arsenal is also looking much better and improved side, but all results could be appeared on ground which are looking not easy to predict with few recent changes in these teams but for me Liverpool is looking again champions.
