Liverpool’s transfer business this summer just shows how much they want to dominate not only the premier league but also Europe. Despite winning the league title last session they have gone ahead to make significant improvements to their squad to continue their dominance this season. As a premier league fan it will be good to see a premier league club dominate European competitions but facing Liverpool in the league is insane lol.

They have spent a lot money this summer and added some more quality but they are still not as ruthless as they supposed to be. With the money spent I expect them to be at their utmost best but they still struggle to win when they played against Newcastle and also got pushed to the wall by Bournemouth even though they managed to win. They have 9 points in 3 games but I am not yet convinced with their superiority but let's just see how it goes for them as the season progresses. They are still not yet at the level of Barcelona and PSG in my opinion, they are good but lacks something.

Last season Liverpool had a very good team and didn't lose any match in the group stage of the Champions League. Most sports pundits and analysts predicted that they would at least get to the semi-finals. But surprisingly, they were knocked out by PSG and left the competition very early. They have a better squad now and maybe they can bring the UCL trophy to England. Since Manchester United won the cup in the 2022/2023 season, no EPL club has won the competition.

There are a lot of competitive teams in the champions league this season, the likes of Barcelona, PSG, Chelsea and even Real Madrid are now looking promising to challenge for the title. And yet Liverpool haven't yet reach the level PSG got to last season so winning the champions league might be a little challenging for them but  if they can improve their game pass how they play last season then the champions league won't be impossible again.

I feel sad he gets no spot in UCL, which may able to push him in getting demand from other clubs that may able to play him regularly. His injury was the main reason why he looks so struggle at this moment. Even by having no demand is a really bad sign for his future career. Well Arne Slot judge based on performance, see Ngumoha performance, he's two times better than Chiesa. I think Chiesa's level isn't in Premier League, he should back to Serie A or playing to lower league like Ligue 1 or Super Lig.

I'm more concerned with Arsenal, Gabriel Jesus is better than Max Dowman, but we know how Arteta always prefer to play with younger players.

As for Gabjes, i'd rather believe his injury was the main concern. He was very lack of minutes, and this is the reason why he has been excluded from UCL squad. So he brings Max Down just to complete his squad. This 15 years old striker ain't good to start UCL.

The problem for Manchester United is that Donnarumma himself may not want to join their team. This is understandable, as sad as it may sound, but why would he want to ruin his statistics and career by joining a club that was close to relegation last season and may not recover this season? It doesn't sound great, I agree, but until MU proves otherwise, no one will want to join them.

I quite agree with you on that, but on the contrary you must understand that a first team player is quite different from a replacement and sometimes the role of the player really matters, for example, I don't think there is any suitable replacement for a player like Mohammed Salah in Liverpool at the moment, perhaps sometime in the future there might be but for now if anything happens to Salah then Liverpool are going to be in some hell of a problem till he recovers so I hope they do not get to that point.

Aside from the big signing by Liverpool, we also have few other signing:

Kolo Muani to Tottenham.
Juventus sign Openda because they failed to sign Kolo Muani.
Jackson to Bayern Munich.

I think Kolo Muani making a good decision because Juventus already sign David and they haven't sold Vlahovic, so the competition is tougher. Moving to Tottenham can improve his quality and might likely get minutes to play since Tottenham currently don't have a reliable striker.

   

Yeah I can agree that this is a good move for Kolo Muani to come to the premier league and showcase his talent and potentials and also to improve and get better playing time, However Richarlison has been in good form this season and scoring for Tottenham so it wouldn’t be easy for him to break into the first eleven at arrival.

For some reasons unknown to me, I just didn't feel like Liverpool were good enough to win the competition last season despite them going unbeaten in the group stages. I told my Liverpool friend that they will not win it, he insisted that they were unstoppable, lol. When they were drawn against PSG in the Round of 16, I told him bye bye to Liverpool. After the first leg result he was laughing at me, I still insisted a PSG comeback. And the rest was history, this season again, despite their signings they will still not win the UCL.

You can never predict football and last season Liverpool really performed very well and I thought Liverpool will be the favorite to achieve the Champions league last season but PSG as get luck last season and performed incredibly since they have not achieved the Champions League before that is why they do well and compete with many big club and get the opportunity to achieve it. This season Liverpool have be the best in Europe because of the key players they bring to the club and I can still have hope that Liverpool will get the ucl this time around, if they continue doing very great the way they started this season in the Premier League.

Liverpool have achieved isak in the club,  I don't think Ekitike can get more minutes like before anymore in the pitch, because Isak is more better then Ekitike and I don't think Liverpool coach will be keeping isak for substitute, he will definitely be is first eleven in all is competition this season. So I believe that Liverpool will do all there best to achieve the ucl and probably the Premier League for the second time again. That's true, there are some players in a club that can't easily be replaced players like Salah, Ronaldo, Messi, etc. In the case of Mohammed Salah, maybe that why Liverpool refused to accept the heavy offer proposed by some Saudi Arabia League clubs, maybe they're still taking their time to figure out the perfect replacement for him, before offloading him to another club.

 That's why it ain't good for a team to be mostly dependent on one or some players, situations like the one you mentioned happened to Manchester City when Debruyne and Rodri got injured, it destabilized the team, however the upgrade in Liverpool was massive this season and apart from Salah there are still other players that are good chances creators and finishers but Salah's impact would definitely be felt if he gets injured.

I think this is really disrespectful to say. The main reason why Rio Ngumoha was chosen ahead of Chiesa is because one is wanted out while the other is still being groom, after all he is a long term investment which makes it different from Chiesa who is obviously open for sale.

You cannot base your claim because of a winning goal, even Chiesa has done the same at Liverpool. Although still far from his best but this doesn’t make you rate him below Rio Ngumoha.

It could be a signal for the takeover bid to come, but still speculation. We may be seeing Tottenham to be acquired by oil business man or american business man. However, after i read his latter, and found that it's not about his resignation from the club. We can expect something to happen with Tottenham.

I think his leaves obviously marks new era for the club. I fully respect him as the one who made Tottenham's economic sustein despite so many hate he got.

The Belgian Pro League and Swiss Super League window closes on Monday, 8th September. The Turkish and Greek League transfer windows will close on 12th. The Serbian Super Liga will end transfers on 17th and the Saudi Professional League is opon until 23rd. Players who have not gotten a contract still have the chance of getting a contract in any of these Leagues. If they are not fortunate to get a club now, they will have to wait till January.

Manchester United have decided to sign Senne Lammens and it is now clear that they are no longer counting on Martinez. I think Martinez would have been a much better goalkeeper for them, but Manchester United have made a lot of strange decisions in recent years, so this decision is not surprising. I would say that Ademola Lookman has literally been unlucky with the transfer window this summer because first he was linked to Inter Milan, then Spurs, Bayern Munich, Arsenal and no one was successful. Staying at Atalanta is the only option at this moment and I doubt if he will be happy playing for the club for the rest of the period.

It is quite possible that by winter one of these clubs will decide to strengthen (or simply increase the depth of the squad/variability) and will still buy him, so it is probably too early to talk about an unsuccessful season. If this does not happen, then of course I would be very unhappy in his place, Atalanta will definitely not be in contention for anything this season, they have seriously weakened due to their actions in the transfer market.

Surely people will keep trying to knock on the door of Atalanta to try to get him, there is no doubt about that. But Lookman is losing precious time at his peak by staying longer and longer. If he were to be sold, he could have played at some better team and the results would have been better for him.

From my perspective, Liverpool looks very promising this particular season and can be relied upon, because they're currently the last season's Premier league champions, and which they're at the moment having a very nice start of the season, If they will have such, I haven't seen any problem with the team as we speak, though they couldn't go that much far last season in the champions but has Maintained a stable form and performance even down till now the beginning of this season.

Liverpool have good number of players that are capable of handling the extreme performance of the club. This is the unique status of the club, to be able to do absolutely excellent without key players, they don't relied on just one player, Arne Slot have ensure he's able to replace every main player in the club with backup ones and that's zero worries on his end. Let's just sit and enjoy the stunning performance of Liverpool this season because it's going to be one hell of a games for the Reds.
