Isak may already be accustomed to the EPL, but Florian Wirtz is coming from Germany. Hopefully, he will be able to give his best contribution. Liverpool has become  the record-breaking transfer team with the arrival of Isak.

So far Liverpool have been exceptionally successful with their additions this summer, I must commend the work they put in to making these signings happen. It clearly shows the direction of the club towards achieving greatness. Of all the signings made Isak’s signing to me is the highlight of the summer for the club.

Last season Liverpool had a very good team and didn't lose any match in the group stage of the Champions League. Most sports pundits and analysts predicted that they would at least get to the semi-finals. But surprisingly, they were knocked out by PSG and left the competition very early. They have a better squad now and maybe they can bring the UCL trophy to England. Since Manchester United won the cup in the 2022/2023 season, no EPL club has won the competition.

There are a lot of competitive teams in the champions league this season, the likes of Barcelona, PSG, Chelsea and even Real Madrid are now looking promising to challenge for the title. And yet Liverpool haven't yet reach the level PSG got to last season so winning the champions league might be a little challenging for them but  if they can improve their game pass how they play last season then the champions league won't be impossible again.

From my perspective, Liverpool looks very promising this particular season and can be relied upon, because they're currently the last season's Premier league champions, and which they're at the moment having a very nice start of the season, If they will have such, I haven't seen any problem with the team as we speak, though they couldn't go that much far last season in the champions but has Maintained a stable form and performance even down till now the beginning of this season.

When you look at it, they didn’t have any luck in the Champions League. They were knocked out on penalties, and if you think about it, by PSG who went on to win the UCL.With what they’ve shown so far, they’ve really been excellent, and let’s be honest they nailed every transfer in general. Wirtz, Ekitike, Kerkez...And the form of players like Szoboszlai and Mo Salah is also at a top level. They’re serious favorites to win all three trophies this year, though it’s still a bit early to say.

Fedirico Chiesa has been excluded from Liverpool's Champions league List.
The player wanted to leave England in the summer, Liverpool wanted to sell him in the summer but I guess nobody came with the decent offer for all the parts.
It is a very sad story for him, after his severe injury of 3-4 years ago he may have lost part of his talent.

I am not surprised because even before now he barely got playing minutes for Liverpool and with the recent additions to the team I doubt if he will be getting good minutes this season so what is the point of including him tk their champions league squad if he will not be playing.

Injury is one of the things that affected the player and Liverpool being serious this season can't afford to use a player that would not help the performance of the team so letting him go would have been a better option but since their was no interest from any team not including him in the list should be the best option so he there are players they has occupied his position. Such player should be used when they are winning in a league game or they should probably reserve him for FA cup I think he will still contribute to the team if he doesn't pick injury again.

Emiliano Martinez might be an option for Man United's problems, but it won't last long because Martinez is no longer young, and from a business perspective, it is also less promising because Martinez's price is still quite high, and it is clear that his transfer value will decrease every year after joining Man United. This may have been a tough decision for Amorim as he opted to go ahead with the speculation by signing Senne Lammens.

Senne Lammens is indeed young and much cheaper than Martinez, but he has no previous Premier League experience, and there's no guarantee he'll perform better than Onana or Bayindir.

There is no guarantee he will perform better than Onana or Bayindir yet but you just have to give him a chance to prove himself at least every player deserves it. Unfortunately Emiliano Martinez didn’t even happen and they ended up with Lammens so they have to make do with the available options with hopes of no regrets when he joins the club.

Lookman was really rumoured with Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe on the recent days. But they both went for a really late move and it was the deadline for European tournaments registration. 

The transfer window was also about to close for Serie A teams so that must be why Atalanta wasn't also keen on letting him go. They wouldn't have been able to find a replacement while there were only hours left...

Staying at Atalanta is still not good for him in the long term though. I don't believe in Juric at all.

I was convinced that he would leave, but my confidence was very certain, more than certain, he is a player who can do a lot, I can't understand why he has had so many courtships but no one who has actually bought him, in any case he has renewed his membership in the Champions League list so he will be there until the winter session

He had the chance to leave this season but he refused, he knows his place in the team as just squad depth. He's one of those less ambitious players who would rather sit on the bench in a big club instead of moving to smaller team for more playing time. He knew what his fate was right from last season. Not being registered in the champions league means more domestic game time for him.

There were several top clubs wanting to have him on loan on deadline day but he turned all down to stay at Liverpool

The team have money to spend, and they spent some money to get squad depth and I am happy for them because they get almost all the players they wanted signing including Alexandra Isak which is a very good signing for them, he will surely lead the team in scoring goals because Moh Sallah will provide a lot if assists and Isak will also assist Sallah; their combination is a deadly combination because any defenders that will face them will not find it easy to defend them; I think only Arsenal defense can be able to try in maintaining possession against them.
However, I am just imagine how the number of goals Liverpool will score this season.

Lookman could be priced less than 50m if the buyer was non italian club. However, he always gets false hope from non italian club. Meanwhile, italian club is also very reluctant in paying 50m for him. Like you said, it most likely he will leave for free. Atalanta can't offer his potential anymore as he's already 27 years.

Things worsen when he was behaving like that. Impossible for Atalanta to recoup at least 30m from him next season.

I consider it's Atalanta's mistake.

After selling Ederson to Fenerbahçe, Manchester City signed Gianluigi Donnarumma from PSG for €35 million.

Last night, Fenerbahçe completed the transfers of Asensio and Ederson. Ederson arrived in Istanbul today for the signing.

Galatasaray signed Uğurcan Çakır from Trabzonspor for €26.5 million.
In addition, they brought İlkay Gündoğan from Manchester City to Istanbul today to finalize his transfer.

Ederson to Fenerbahce is a good move to me and also a good step towards improvement for the squad. Ederson will bring quality to the team between the sticks same thing for Donnarumma for Manchester City. Guardiola has gotten fed up with Ederson’s inconsistency and that is why he  agreed to sell him out.

Manchester United going for him will be like having three goalkeepers with same ability. Also the wages and the age of Martinez was definitely the most worrying factor in this transfer and I seriously support Manchester United in looking at other end.

Signing Lemmens was a huge risk but I would still take the risk over having Martinez in the squad or leaving only Onana and Bayindir, the arrival of a new goalkeeper will be actually a good one as it will create competition between them all

Younger goalkeeper? Donnarumma was born in 1999 and when he was 16 years old was playing for AC Milan in Serie A; Chevalier was born in 2001, he is 2 (two) years younger than Donnarumma and made his professional debut in 2021 in Ligue 2; he only played in Ligue 1 in 2022 when he was "already" 21 years old. That means Donnarumma despite being only 2 years older than him, already played 10 years of first team football in a major league while Chevalier only 3. There is no comparison between the two, Donnarumma is clearly way better.

PSG evidently disagrees. I can't tell which is better just yet, but I have watched Donnarumma a lot to know how he is not the untouchable goalkeeper people think he is. He is prone to mistakes and unreliable at times. The good thing about him is that when he decides to step up, he can be very good, but he's not consistent with it.
Chevalier is also a very good keeper. I guess you haven't watched him much, that's why you rate him so less.

Two players can be agemates but peak at different times. One playing 10 years before the other doesn't necessarily mean he is better. There are players who are 27, yet a 20-year-old player may be better than them. According to PSG at this point in their career, Chevalier is better than Donnarumma.

So, in your opinion, who are all these goalkeepers that are better than Donnarumma?
And I watched the European Supercup and Chevalier immediately made a huge mistake on Romero's goal. And Donnarumma didn't end up in some random team, he was bought by Manchester City who got rid of Ederson in order to sign him, and they immediately benched Trafford despite paying him 35 millions.

Yes, it's quite surprising that Chiesa was still included in the Premier League match against Arsenal, albeit as a substitute. Despite being quite young, he also performed quite well at the start of the season, contributing at least one goal. Unfortunately, Arne Slot won't allow a younger player to be included.
This has led to a lot of rumors circulating, whether Arne Slot is playing for him or there is another reason, because basically it includes a 17-year-old non-homegrown player and excludes experienced homegrown players, while this is the UCL, I am really curious to see how Rio Ngumoha will perform.

This signing is undoubtedly a brave move, though one that has serious consequences. I believe that when a player has rejected the advances of other clubs on the promise of a starting position and then out of the blue a rival player with a larger profile emerges, then disappointment will almost certainly follow. You and I are well aware that a good squad harmony is equally important as quality addition. When promises made at the start are violated, then the management will not be trusted and this is not good in the team environment. Only time will tell whether the club has a plan on how to share the playing time evenly or just depend on the big names, which in the long run can be detrimental to their well being.

With the money spent I expect them to be at their utmost best but they still struggle to win when they played against Newcastle and also got pushed to the wall by Bournemouth even though they managed to win. They have 9 points in 3 games but I am not yet convinced with their superiority but let's just see how it goes for them as the season progresses. But deep down I have seen no threat from them so far, like what I'm seeing is not really what I expected, they are supposed to have be killing the league after their transfer market this season I was expecting from this starter maybe 3 goals up no matter the team they play against, like for instance Manchester City will be a good example for that, we all know that out of the four consecutive times pep won the league huge sum of money was spent and we all clearly saw the results and I believe that's same business Liverpool is into but to tell the truth I'm not impressed with the results, they will continue like this and watch Arsenal or Chelsea win the league.

Martinez would have been a better choice for Manchester United but it happened that the better choice was not the available option so they had to shift focus to Lammens and just as expected they were able to complete the deal before deadline while Martinez stayed back at Aston Villa.

Yeah, that was the ideal goalkeeper signing Ruben Amorim wanted but the decision of Sancho not joining Aston Villa a hundred percent made Manchester United go all in for Lammens. I'm glad he came. He is not just better than Andrea Onana at the moment statistically,  but also better that Martinez. I'm sure he will have a quick impact against Manchester City next week during the Manchester derby.
