Is there something wrong with Nick Woltemade? I'm questioning it caused by i see a rumor says Newcastle is interesting in signing Delap from Chelsea. It's a common knowledge how delap has been so shite after he joined Chelsea from Leeds. However, this kinda weird to see that Newcastle is being linked to him.
I know sometimes a flop player can be better when he get a team that can suit him well. Apart from that i'm also rarely seeing Nick scored for Newcastle unlike his debut.

I can only guess the downgrade of Nick's performance is the reason why Newcastle is looking someone else. This makes me think it can come up into the conclusion Newcastle is looking for a new striker to give a Nick compettiion.
So i can push Nick to give his best like his debut. I don't deny Delap is having potential, cheap fees and lo salary. It makes Delap is interesting striker to sign, though his journey at Chelsea is horrendous.

If truly Pep Guardiola is leaving Manchester City (their words sometimes are hard to believe) after this season then it says it all with how slow the player Haaland has been playing, is like he's mourning something or like a child that they refused to give candy. Leaving the club as well as the manager I feel that Haaland isn't the only one that would request for a move too, Pep Guardiola has changed the atmosphere of the club, he won so many titles with the club and it will be an emotional exit...but is it right for the man Haaland to leave as well?
Pep Guardiola leaving Manchester City after the season ends shouldn't be coming as a surprise to anyone, he has lasted his time and did very well for the club. He should be let go in a grand style, he brought Manchester City among the best title contenders for almost all the years he represented the club as a manager. If other players decides to leave, depends on them but for the huge wages they are receiving, i don't think is necessary to push for the move.

Yes, it is true that multiple English sources are reporting that they are preparing for maybe 2025-2026 being the last season for him. And if he leaves, he already said he will take a break from coaching. Is he ready to take a long break after so many years as a coach for a big team?

One thing to notice is that his contract is until 2027 so anything before that he needed to leave soon and maybe pay contract fees, so it's maybe unlikely.

Manchester United fans are going to be happy that the team did not sign Liam Delap, Manchester United are interested in this guy and he turns them down because they are not playing in the Champions League, he choose Chelsea over Manchester United and now see what Chelsea is doing to him, just one season and they decided to sell him, i said before that many players will regret signing for Chelsea because is not a football club, Chelsea is a business club, Chelsea buy players that are in good form even if it is just one season they will sign him.

Many players left the club they are having a good performance to join Chelsea and later get sold in one or two seasons, It has happened to Nkunku, Felix and others players but some players will not use that as an example to avoid Chelsea, if I am a player and Chelsea with othe top clubs come to sign me I will not accept Chelsea because they can sell me when I don’t have a good performance and that is going to affect a player career.

Bernardo Silva has been and important player for Pep Guardiola, and he was one of the players who made it easy for Pep Guardiola to win the Premier League title for three consecutive seasons and he's still an important player for Manchester City right now, so it will be a big loss for Manchester City if Bernardo Silva leave right now. Pep Guardiola leaving Manchester City at the end of the season isn't an important issue because Pep Guardiola has lost his rhythm at Manchester City and he can't lead Manchester City to win major trophy, so it's better for him to leave Manchester City so that they will fine a reliable coach that can help them win major trophies.
I disagree with you that, it was Bernardo Sylva that made Manchester City win the title for three consecutive seasons. It was a joint effort because I could remember that Rodri won ballon d'or during that time that City was on fire. You made it look as if Sylva is a superstar that City cannot do without while, in my book I don't see him like that.

Pep is sick and tired of him not keeping the pace of the club. He knows that his game strategy has faded in England which is why he wants to go to a different league to try his game pattern if it's gon work out perfectly over there.
I didn't say that Bernardo Silva singlehandedly made Manchester City win the title for three consecutive seasons. I said Bernardo Silva was among the players who made it easier for Manchester City to win the title for three consecutive seasons. I'm advising you to read my post again, and if you are doing that, you should read it carefully so that you will know that I didn't say Bernardo Silva alone won Manchester City the title for three consecutive seasons.

Most fans will say it is a surprise. Manchester City is not known to be the type of club that changes manager consistently. I know Manchester United and Chelsea to be that type of club. For Pep Guardiola to leave Manchester City by the end of the season is because he wants to leave, not the club chasing him away. Pep Guardiola is that manager that has never been sacked, I don't want to believe this is the time he will be sacked. His era as a major coach in the premier league is over, now is the time to find another career path.

Pep Guardiola is a super genius coach, but it's strange that in the last two seasons he's been signing strange players for the team. It seems like the Pep Guardiola of the past has changed his vision regarding new signings. I don't know why he's been making so many mistakes with new signings. Manchester City had an excellent squad three years ago, but many good players left the team and were replaced by players who haven't helped the team much. It's true that Manchester City is in second place, but this isn't the type of squad that would win the European Champions League.

While three years ago Manchester City only focused on having a squad for the European Champions League and consequently they were strong in the Premier League, today I don't know how they plan their squad. The only thing I see is that they've been disastrous in their signings, and if Pep Guardiola leaves Manchester City, the team might suffer the same fate as Tottenham, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United.

Pep has not decided it by himself. So it seems there is also possibility for him to stay for another season too. It's not yet clear whether he's stay or leave caused by he's willing to decide it when we're getting closer to the end of season.

As for Haaland, i believe if City has a long term interesting project for Haaland. So he won't be leave even when Pep leaves. So it totally depends on club's commitment. We have seen plenties of rumor said Haaland would leave when Pep leaves, but i don't think it's true.
Even City already planned a long term project even after Pep leaves. So he's here to stay with his very long contract.

You know the manager Pep Guardiola has done so much for the club which made him the greatest and the best manager Manchester City have had in a long while and yes him leaving shouldn't be a surprise because the way they have been for long and couple with the fact that things are not going his way shows that he might leave if not at the end of this season it could be next season so we just need to keep our fingers crossed while he comes out publicly to say it. Currently I see it as a speculation but if it happens I still feel other players won't want to stay, the relationship between the players and the manager is too good to let go but no one last in a particular position for long, let's see if he can get something this season because we can't be too sure if Pep can win anything for now until it is done.

They have only Woltemade as their striker and also Wilson who comes off the bench once in a while so it won’t be bad for them that they actually get to sign another striker next summer, I think with Newcastle havinv this very poor form they should definitely be looking for solutions and sincerely if they actually finish outside the European places which is most likely then I will say that they will seriously have to lose some players with the likes of Gordon and their midfield duo of Gumaresi and Tonali too. I think Delap is just part of their radar to be scouted and considering the fact that he did well in Ipswich then there should be hope for him to regain his form back again.

We have to look at the manager too, Pep Guardiola is that manage that hasn’t had up to five seasons at any club before if I can guess correctly, I think even if he has reached this years before it will be at Barcelona but I strongly doubt he has done more than that. He has been rumour since of leaving the club but only stayed because he doesn’t wants to leave city since they got into crisis. So it should be clear that it’s not city sacking him but him wanting to leave

He has done too much and we'll for the game of football, nothing worked last season, the same may likewise happen this season, it is highly the best time he retires and take a long leave.

Coaching tue Spanish national team should be a dream for him, but that idea is still not on his bucket list. He will get the job in the future if he is opened to it and also I'd the current manager isn't doing enough.

You know tricky Pep is and that is what I love about him, the media will always want to force out words from him but he knows the game, talk less and the rest is history. His body language tells much of his decision but if you don't understand him very well you can't tell his next plan, since he's the mater of mind games. For me I feel he'd love to win the EPL or the champions league before he leaves the club and if he stays we won't even hear of player like Haaland trying to scratch his way out of the club, this is happening because Peo Guardiola is the one who made Haaland who he is today and I feel the relationship has gotten more stronger that's why we are seeing him speaking of leaving but I'm certain he won't leave in the next 2 seasons.

Haaland moving to Barcelona? Are we talking seriously or are we joking? Haaland earns approximately 32 million euros per year, Barcelona can't even find the money to buy Rashford that earns 1/3 of Haaland and costs a fraction of the Norwegian, so how on earth could they afford him? City don't need any money, if they do sell him it would be for, at least, 150 millions, no less than that. They would have to sell Yamal in order to bring Haaland in, no other way.

There has to be mental maturity.
But now that genius seems to be fading as the Premier League is becoming increasingly competitive with competition from other teams and Pep Guardiola himself is starting to struggle to achieve consistency for his team. Pep Guardiola successfully led Manchester City to numerous trophies in the previous seasons which was a huge success for Manchester City. For some star players, it's impossible to leave easily if Pep Guardiola leaves because they have contractual agreements. It's difficult to deliver the Premier League title this season because Arsenal have a much better chance of winning that trophy.

Is there something wrong with Nick Woltemade? I'm questioning it caused by i see a rumor says Newcastle is interesting in signing Delap from Chelsea.

This transfer news makes me question the ability of whoever is in charge of Newcastle scouting. I know they tried signing Liam Delap last year but that didn’t happen for some reason. Looking at how Delap has performed from last year till date, how is Delap an upgrade from Woltemade? I sincerely hope they are getting him for cheap because it would be outrageous to sign Delap for more than 25m, knowing Chelsea, they might want to inflate his price tag.

it was Bernardo Sylva that made Manchester City win the title for three consecutive seasons.

No certain player matters in Peps system, he can replace them and still be fine. Look at the team that won the UCL and treble that year, and look at the squad they have now, they are still second in the premier league, not a bad team, and yet there are like maybe 3 players or so (Rodri, Silva, Haaland) from that team probably, Foden if you want to count him. He can replace everyone and still be good, it just takes time.

Same happened when they won, took time because they failed many times before they finally won, difference was that they were winning premier league. I think they will get back there next season, with or without silva, they will be doing fine and nothing will change and we will see them do a good job.

I believe that whatever that has a beginning, also have an end, and the end of pep guardiola's reign at Manchester City is near, but that doesn't mean that most of their key players like erling haaland will start leaving because of that, because Manchester City where doing very well before pep guardiola came into the club, not that they were doing terribly bad, so if pep guardiola eventually leaves at a point in the future, I believe that Manchester City will hire a good Manager that can take the team forward, and if erling haaland decides to leave later in the future, it may be because he wanted a new challenge away from the English premier league, not because of pep guardiola leaving the club, so I totally agree with your sentiment that pep guardiola and erling leaving the same time is near impossible, because that will show less ambition from Manchester City.

Inter is monitoring Lunin's situation as well for a possible signing this summer. However I don't think Real Madrid would be eager to let him go at all. Probably they might even use him as their main GK after Courtois leaves.

But if the player gets interested in such signing then things could be more interesting... Vicario really sounds like a more realistic target but I think Inter can find a better name than him as well. Maybe they just don't want to spend so much money on a GK...

You'll be surprised that he'll go to Newcastle United and do better, the fact that his performance at Chelsea is poor doesn't mean it would be same if he tries another club in the league, maybe the pressure of playing for a big club like Chelsea is too heavy to bare but it won't be same if he goes to Newcastle.

It's not bad if Newcastle add an additional striker with a Premier League experience to their team, it would even make that position competitive. Chelsea would definitely inflate the price but Newcastle would use his performance this season to their advantage while Chelsea would have no option but to sell for a fair price.
