While three years ago Manchester City only focused on having a squad for the European Champions League and consequently they were strong in the Premier League, today I don't know how they plan their squad. The only thing I see is that they've been disastrous in their signings, and if Pep Guardiola leaves Manchester City, the team might suffer the same fate as Tottenham, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United.

City have finally reached a higher level or recovered their form because since winning the Champions League, they haven't done anything in either the Premier League or the following Champions League. It was as if their magic had run out. Now, they have an opportunity because they are 9 points behind Arsenal, and it's a fact that things could go their way if Arsenal slip up. If that happens, I'm sure City will catch them; there's no doubt about it.

I'm not as sure as you are because they're far from the Manchester City of previous years. We've seen a consistent Manchester City that played well in every game before; this year the situation is worse. We're also seeing a lot of mistakes from their defenders. This is a major problem for Manchester City. Teams like Manchester City have to choose their defenders very carefully, otherwise one mistake can cost them the championship.

If truly Pep Guardiola is leaving Manchester City (their words sometimes are hard to believe) after this season then it says it all with how slow the player Haaland has been playing, is like he's mourning something or like a child that they refused to give candy. Leaving the club as well as the manager I feel that Haaland isn't the only one that would request for a move too, Pep Guardiola has changed the atmosphere of the club, he won so many titles with the club and it will be an emotional exit...but is it right for the man Haaland to leave as well?

The reception he'd receive when he'd be leaving the club would be massive, Diego Simone had good players in the likes of Agüero, Costa and many of them whom he loved to see them play and when they left it felt different now Griezmann is on his way out, honestly that relationship between both the player and the manager is so strong that on that very day it will be emotional. Antoine Griezmann is still a player with the potential to do something for the French national team. Coaching France NT has always been Zidane's dream. So this is good when he gets an opportunity to coach France NT. However, DD's contract is gonna end at July, and i guess France needs to make sure they won't extend DD's contract or Zidane appointment can lead into the disaster. Who knows when DD can lead France NT into the final, then it changes France football federation's plan to appoint him.
Hopefully, this story is true and it leads to the end of Zidane's saga. I don't wanna see another drama to happen from France NT.

Considering Barcelona has no money at all, it's obvious that they would not be able to pay that much. However they may consider giving away Araujo, because that dude has been in a spiral and played only a bit more than thousand minutes, many bench players play more than that, and they assumed he would be a good main player, so his mental issues, even though very valid and understandable, still makes him a player that is unwanted. If they give him to Inter, plus some money, that may work.

But Araujo do not worth much after this whole mental situation, I think max 20 million would be down from that, so maybe 50 million + Araujo would work? Seems like a possibility without a doubt. I think Barcelona should test that option.

It's very interesting how close the timing of the World Cup and the coaching change is. For example, if the French national team wins this World Cup, will the coach resign again? Zidane is very close to realizing his dream, and the speculations suggest so, but I think the likelihood of this happening depends on France's performance in the World Cup.

Not official but we can see the signs all over of him being the next French team manager. We've had this discussion over and over on here.
He won the world cup with the French national team as a player, he will also win it as a manager. I will never be surprised when this happens. He will do it just the same way Deschamps did. We all know he will get the job, he is just the perfect name to replace Deschamps.
