Wirtz and Isak were just over budgeted players who couldn't perform to match up with the amount they were signed to Liverpool. Both stats this season is very poor and if they continue without improvements, Liverpool should just consider signing them out because it will be a total waste to have two unproductive players who will only be earning wages without any efforts to help improve their performance. Barcelona should rather go for Victor Osimhen because I guess he will be a more productive player for Barcelona in this position than Julian Alvarez would be, but no doubt that Julian Alvarez is a good and quality player, however Osimhen will be super happy to play for the FC Barcelona and would want to showcase his talent the more in what he's known best for and to play in one of the best leagues in the world.

Osimhen is a great striker, but he is not made for high frequency passing matches with very little room to move or run into. Lamine Yamal and some of the other players love to do exactly that and Osimhen with his specific set of skills may not be perfectly fitting into the main category of players that Barcelona now has. I've also heard the rumors of Xabi Alonso coming to Liverpool but it's something I don't know how true is it, although I won't be surprised cconsidering the fact that he is their legendary players, so is more of a square peg in a square hole for The Reds. That Isak movement has been one of the most disappointing for Liverpool, especially when i remember how dramatic his movement was, I just kept on telling myself that, all of that drama between Newcastle, Isak and Liverpool was really unnecessary given the result we have now.
