Barcelona does Barcelona thing. They were pursuing the player and their camp, yet they don't know how to pay it. As i know Bastoni's price is in around 55m - 60m range. It's impossible to expect them to have that huge sum of money to pay him. They can't even pay their own players salary.

The player Inter would want from Barcelona would be very important, and since Inter wouldn't want just any player, this transfer would likely be cancelled. Adam Wharton is only 22 years old and has room for improvement. I think they're considering him as an alternative to Rüdiger or Militao. However, he'll still need to gain some experience.
