For sure, Rodri will offer more maturity and calmness in the Madrid midfield considering that they have very young talented midfielders in their ranks currently so the addition of Rodri will be a huge boost for them to provide that leadership role in the midfield. One thing about injury is that it actually takes just one injury to start and then it is hard for some reoccurrence to stop, Rodri was an excellent player throughout his days at Manchester City and no one can deny that, in fact if that form is the current form of Rodri I will say he can walk into any team easily without any competition. I think so, Madrid right now have many top talent midfielder players exactly after promoting Thiago Pitarch to senior team and right now many option to use for the midfielder area, Madrid really need to sign player at defender position exactly with central defender regarding several defender get injury.

We are not even sure if this transfer may happen because as it stands, Rodriguez is still an important player for Manchester City, just that injuries has really put a dent to his playing career at Manchester City, just as you have rightfully said, but this move relies mostly on pep guardiola, if he is going to stay put at Manchester City or not, because once pep guardiola leaves, those players loyal to him will want to move, and Rodri is that type of player.

I can't deny that Rodri is an upgrade to Tchouameni and the rest, and he will definitely improve this real madrid team if he eventually makes the move, but his constant injuries is the biggest problem that may discourage real madrid in bringing him to the Santiago bernabéu.

I was a bit surprised to see Marca informed Ronaldo tries to convince Casemiro to go to the Saudi instead of joining MLS. I think he shall let Casemiro to determine in what club Case will play. Preventing his friend to join in the MLS due to the rivalry with Messi is not right.

If Arbeloa is a good coach he will never agree to signing of Rodri, Rodri is finished and he 30 years old, i don’t think he can bring anything to that Real Madrid midfield, Rodri is a defensive midfielder and Real Madrid have Tchoumeni and Camavinga, Tchoumeni is one of the best midfielders this season and his performance has said it all, he has improved since the beginning of the season and he is better than Rodri since last season, signing Rodri is a waste of money for Real Madrid because he can not offer the kind of performance Real Madrid wants from him.

Real Madrid should go for another midfielder like Adam Wharton, Smit and other young players that will help the team in the future, Real Madrid have Tiago Pitach who has already played many games for the team and it looks like he was the one of the reasons why Real Madrid midfield is balanced now, Real Madrid have academy players who are going to give them what they want in the future, signing Rodri is not a good option.
