You're not wrong, he could actually suffer and I won't be surprised but then again there's something different about Mourinho that's makes it difficult to confidently say he will not succeed in a club. A captain needs to be someone who has an impact on the team, who motivates a struggling team, and who is disciplined and has a tough character. Yes but he is going to be 35 soon and to be honest, players like Modric are the exception. 35 is a good age to leave Real Madrid for most players. From there on it becomes exponentially tougher to deliver constantly. Modric is a robot. Carvajal has only played 900 minutes in La Liga and a few short games in the other competitions. I think that says it all. In contrast, most of the other captains you mentioned here, they have played most of the games and rarely got substituted. Not a big loss for Real Madrid I think.

That is something I don't think will happen very soon. First, that guy has an anger issue, it's unfair the way the fans and other players from other side do to him but a captain that has anger issue will lead the team astray. A captain is suppose to be that player that the team can look up to and calm the players when things are going back, I don't even know how he is going to handle that anger issues except he changes his character before that time.

I want to see Mourinho very quickly for the job to see how the team is going to improve. A lot of people are not happy about this move but what some people don't know is that you can't be certain about things until you get there. Mourinho is good regardless of been an old person, the guy has a track record in Real Madrid and has gone other places and do some wonders. He might not get the result of Real Madrid but I'm sure if he has access to what Real Madrid has, he would have deliver.

It is 100% guaranteed that they will do worse. The team that failed to do well with Xabi who won Bundesliga over Bayern Munich, thinking they can do better with Mourinho who has not won a league title in the last 10+ years, is just funny to me.

When was the last time Mourinho won a league title? I think it's 14/15 with Chelsea right? That means it has been over 10 years since he won the last one, and if you look at even further, in the last 16-17 years he has won just 2 titles, one with real and that is why they are hiring him back. Dude has a big name, between 2000's to 2015 or so he was a big name, won a lot of titles, a lot of trophies, one of the biggest names in the world of football. But in the past 10 years? He has become a nobody.

Finally, Real Madrid players can now have discipline since they now have a no nonsense coach to reshape the team.

Congratulations to Real Madrid fans, Laliga fans, and the entire football fans; one of our great managers of all time is back again in the biggest club in the world to keep entertaining us even though the experience will be different this time because he do t have that time to play fancy football, he is here to use the available players and also bring in new players to help the team win trophies because the team have gone without trophies for two seasons in a row and indiscipline is the cause because the players are not willing to boat their coaches.

As Real Madrid fans are happy, I saw a news saying that Pep Guardiola will be leaving Manchester City at the end of this season, this is a bad news for Manchester City fans, but good news to premier league fans because we are tired of him trying to dominate the league.
