Why is Guardiola leaving the team? He could have continued with Manchester City, but he must have gotten tired of it. He had a very successful career with Manchester City. He changed the city from red to blue. That was a magnificent achievement and a tremendous experience for Guardiola. I wonder if he will manage a team now or take a break for a while. Because if he wants to manage a team, I'm sure many teams would want him as their manager.

Deal done! Xabi Alonso will become Chelsea's new coach shortly after club will make an official statement very soon. He's getting 4 years contract, which is valid until 2030. He will be fully backed by the club related to the squad and players transfers.

So we can expect him to have input related to the players transfers. We have seen how bad the management of Chelsea handled the transfers by themsleves, and it's never end with good result.

I think this deal is super beneficial not only for him, but also for Chelsea's side who is facing difficulty to find a proper coach after Maresca.

Hopefully, his system can work with Chelsea properly.
I think Xabi Alonso can do very good things at Chelsea because the players are not as spoiled as Real Madrid's, that is the first important thing. I would also say that there is way less pressure because when you manage Real Madrid, no matter whether the team is good or bad, you must win, there is constantly pressure. It was too much of a jump for him from Leverkusen to Real.

This is a really good decision by Chelsea and the whole management. They brought in a coach with experience and someone who can deliver real results, just like he did with Leverkusen. I think he could've done great things at Real Madrid too, but Real decided to let him go. With him and a few good signings, Chelsea can definitely start hoping for trophies again, and i also think they can do well in europe. I'm happy for Xabi, he was a fantastic player and he's turning into a very good coach as well

This is a fantastic career comeback for Xabi. Every manager wants to experience the competition in the Premier League. Managing a team with so much potential, like Chelsea, is something every manager desires. Having resources and a large squad is both good and bad, because you have many opportunities and you need to find the best possible team. It takes a lot of experimentation to build the core squad. Chelsea already has a lot of players; let's see who they'll buy in this transfer window. Will they be able to replicate the Leverkusen effect from the Bundesliga in the Premier League next year?

I think Mourinho is capable of controlling the chaos that is happening in the Real Madrid dressing room, but I am not sure he can restore Real Madrid glory anytime soon. A major overhaul will take place in the Real Madrid squad after his arrival, he will ask the management to bring in new players to strengthen the back line.
I don't think that far ahead, and there's been no official word from the club that they'll sell either player. I think Mourinho can rely on Vini and Mbappe in a 4-4-2 formation. In addition, they have proven their abilities in the front line, but it takes collective cooperation between the two to increase sharpness in the front line.
Mourinho also has a history of disagreement with club management. He always wants to be in full control of the club and doesn't tolerate interference from the management. There were also times when he openly blamed his players for poor performances. He has the experience to control big players like Vinicius and Mbappe, but we shouldn't conclude that he wouldn't cause more problems. I hope the special one will restore the glory of Real Madrid, so I wish him well.
Jose Mourinho is a self-assured person and due to this he wouldn't be tolerate any other options except his own decisions, whether it's about tactics or it's about player behavior. I will tell you that recently Gerard Bale told in podcast that Jose Mourinho has an overbearing attitude, and obviously he will mark up demanded performance from player and if anyone doesn't achieve the mark performance then definitely he will put him on the bench, whether it's Killyan Mbappe or it's Vinicus Junior or even Jude Bellingham too.....

So maybe if he utilize this strick behavior then definitely he can change the color of team like their egos, behavior and even performance. I told here many time that no players in bigger than club.

In my opinion, no player is bigger or more valuable than the club. We're talking about a manager who even benched Cristiano Ronaldo at one point. A manager who benched one of the greatest talents in the history of world football. Therefore, Mbappé will need to be careful. If he lets his ego get the better of him and makes individual decisions during the match, he might even be suddenly taken out of the game. I think Balotelli experienced this in the past. This helps us understand better why the president wants him in the team.

Most people kind of saw it coming. There's nothing more to achieve at Manchester City... He won them 20 trophies at manchester city in his 10 years and the only trophies he hasn't won while at the club are just the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League which doesn't really matter

Perhaps he is looking forward to a new challenge. Maybe he should try out the Italian league in his next coaching destination.

He has won almost all the trophies and I think last season was the right time for Guradiola to leave because seeing from what he has always done in his coaching career at previous clubs he has never even been more than 7 seasons to coach a club and at Manchester City alone he did more than 7 seasons so the decision to leave should be the right decision.

But after this it will be interesting because he will definitely be targeted by many big clubs and I think the next step is Serie A if indeed he wants to find an atmosphere for more experience because La Liga he has conquered when coaching Barcelona, the Bundesliga also ended well with Bayern and the EPL Manchester City so it would be great if he still wants to continue his career I hope he goes to Serie A.

Guardiola’s time in the PL will soon be over.

@David_Ornstein
🚨 Pep Guardiola to leave position as Manchester City manager at end of this season.
This news will give Manchester City players the sort of motivation to want to give Pep their coach the farewell that he deserves by going on to try and win their remaining Premier League games and ensure that even though the Premier League looks out of their hand that they give Arsenal a race for it until the last day.
As for the replacement who happens to be Maresca I do not think he will be able to fill the shoes that pep would leave in Manchester City probably because I have seen him struggle with indecision in many games when he was manager of Chelsea and that can also happen as he takes over the job at Manchester City.

🚨 Pep Guardiola to leave position as Manchester City manager at end of this season. 55yo Spaniard departing after trophy-laden decade & set to be replaced by Enzo Maresca. No official confirmation yet from #MCFC. W/ @SamLee @TheAthleticFC after @MailSport

I don't know how authentic this report is but I think I believe the part that the Spanish manager will leave the Etihad stadium this summer. However, I doubt that the club management will want to replace him with former Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca. I'm not tryna say that Maresca isn't experienced enough but the expectations of the Manchester City club and the fans is on the high side now, thanks to Pep Guardiola incredible 10 years at the club, so will Maresca be able to live up to the expectations?

I'm happy for Xabi, he was a fantastic player and he's turning into a very good coach as well
I hope Alonso will serve the club better because it’s becoming too obvious the club is falling, this decision has to be one of the best knowing fully well Alonso is determine although Chelsea made several changes before this time besides the club might find it difficult to balance.
I’m certain this change is going to be a different change, concerning Real Madrid I also agree with this obviously the club changed Alonso so fast most especially when the club was trying to get balance and now Real Madrid is still not yet better, this situation is same with Chelsea. These clubs are always fast to change coach yet nothing to show probably Alonso will be given the chance to work viewing the contract.

He has done very well for Manchester city he’s a legend of Manchester city and he can never be forgotten by Manchester city I don’t think anyone would do what he has done in Manchester city, no one can be compared to him. I respect him so much for how he came to Premier league and for a very long time he was always proving a point every season. He has done very well and I know that a lot of people would be happy that he’s leaving Manchester city so other teams will have a chance to lift the premier league trophy.
He’s leaving Manchester City as a legend.

I don't think his departure has anything to do with being tired or not. Players come and go, so do managers. He has literally transformed Manchester city, and has dominated the primier league while winning so many titles back to back. Winning 20 titles within a lesser number of years, makes he one of the greatest to ever dominate English football. And on the others hand, fans of other Clubs are literally celebrating. A lot of them are literally tired of this in and out competition with Manchester city and pep, at all times.

And as for his next possible Job, it is hard to tell, but I strongly believe that he is never going to go back to Spain, Germany, or even England. Maybe a Job in Italy or France, from any of the top clubs. Though, even a national team coaching Job is not exempted.

For a coach who has won as many trophies for Manchester City, leaving the club at any time he chooses is not a crime. He has trained many players, a few coaches who are doing well in various leagues with the 10 solid years he has spent with Manchester City. For those coaches who came to the Premier League with him have retired or are no longer in the Premier League managing a team.

Pep Guardiola taking a long or short break from coaching before getting to coach again is Pep Guardiola's choice of action to take

According to the rumor[1], Ibrahimović reportedly already contacted some players directly to tell that Allegri not include them in the next season plan. The names mentioned Leão, Pulisic, Tomori, Fofana and Loftus-Cheek on transfer list for next season. If this rumor is true, then this is not just a squad rebuild, this can be a sign that Allegri want to rebuild Milan from zero with his own playing style and his own player choice. What makes fans shocked, some names considered still worthy to become part of the team next season.

When he came to Manchester City, he had goals, and he achieved them one by one. That's why I think he can be remembered as a legend at this club. If Guardiola leaves this team, I don't know if he'll be able to manage a better team. Because I can say he managed the best Manchester City squad in history. He also has a very wide tactical range. Watching him play football like chess made the matches more enjoyable.

I won't lie, I initially doubted this move by Chelsea for hiring xabi Alonso to handle a Chelsea team that needed a mature and experience manager, but after doing some research about this move, I come to understand that he will have a major say in who goes in and out of the club, so for that reason, I think that he can do wonders by building the team to his tailored team, so I guess he might do well with this Chelsea team, if their is not any form of interference from the hierarchy.

Additionally, Chelsea is a team that is quite good at possession base game, and when I look at xabi Alonso's Bayern Leverkusen team, it shows that his style of play fits perfectly well with the type of players at Chelsea. Though I wouldn't conclude on anything yet, but he might do well and proves me wrong.
You also need to consider another thing: Chelsea, at the moment, can't be considered as a big team. They are good, not great. They need to work on a long-time project now because they keep buying young players but changing manager every season doesn't help of course. I don't know what their next season's goals are going to be but I would say that they should focus on qualifying again for the Champions League without stressing Xabi Alonso too much.

For Pep's departure I don't think it's a surprise because since last season before he extended his short-term contract it was almost certain to go sooner or later but seeing that his replacement is Enzo Maresca it could be a surprise for me.

Enzo is one of the better coaches and the fact that he took Chelsea to a better place in terms of the standings in Chelsea's dark days a few seasons ago certainly shows his capacity but crossing from Chelsea to Manchester City is what makes me quite surprised.
I look forward to this if it really happens for next season because it will be very interesting when Chelsea meets Manchester City even though Maresca has been replaced before at Chelsea but the tension will definitely remain.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that Enzo Maresca is the top list for the Manchester city job following the news that Pep Guardiola will be leaving by the end of the season. I really didn't see this end of era coming for Pep Guardiola at Manchester city and I would say that fans are not ready for the possible heart break that may follow. I am not convinced with Enzo Maresca especially after his first season because his first season could be like Arne Slot's first season when he achieved a milestone because of the foundation that Klopp left in Liverpool.

If he is able to achieve something from his second season down, then he has fit into the team but I doubt he can achieve near the record of Pep Guardiola at Manchester city after winning 20 titles in 10 years at Manchester city. He has left a footprint that would not be covered by anyone soon.
