When he came to Manchester City, he had goals, and he achieved them one by one. That's why I think he can be remembered as a legend at this club. If Guardiola leaves this team, I don't know if he'll be able to manage a better team. Because I can say he managed the best Manchester City squad in history. He also has a very wide tactical range. Watching him play football like chess made the matches more enjoyable.
Pep guardiola is and has really done well at Manchester City. Do you know that before he came to the English premier league, most fans were saying that he can't dominate the English premier league the way his Bayern munich team dominated the German bundesliga, but it later turns out that his Manchester City team was even more dominant than his Bayern munich team.

I think that the best move for him after his Manchester City stint is managing a national team, that would be very helpful to him because he wouldn't have to be coaching every day, or in other words, his schedule will be much lighter. So I believe that it would be his best move than coaching a club that will require his presence every single day.

Mourinho also has a history of disagreement with club management. He always wants to be in full control of the club and doesn't tolerate interference from the management. There were also times when he openly blamed his players for poor performances. He has the experience to control big players like Vinicius and Mbappe, but we shouldn't conclude that he wouldn't cause more problems. I hope the special one will restore the glory of Real Madrid, so I wish him well.

It's entirely possible that Mourinho will suffer the curse of his third season, but I'm more than confident he'll deliver results in the first two. It's high time to clean up Real Madrid, and Mourinho is the man to do it. And by the way, the fact that he blames the players for a bad performance is normal, after all, it's his job  Grin I look forward to seeing it in action, the changes will be massive. Judging by the leaks, if Real Madrid accepts Mourinho's conditions, he will have full powers and will communicate directly with Perez.

Mourinho is preparing to make his final move as one of the world’s best-managed clubs has recently entered a period of decline. This team could hold its own as long as a disciplined, strong figure someone whom everyone can respect, even if only a little takes the helm. However, the choice of Mourinho, made to control the players, has come as a shock to everyone. They’ve brought in someone who stays in the spotlight only through controversies and who has shown nothing of substance in terms of football as if he were a huge success and deserved to take the helm at Real Madrid. If the club isn’t in a state of collapse, there’s simply no other explanation for what’s happening.

Deal done! Xabi Alonso will become Chelsea's new coach shortly after club will make an official statement very soon. He's getting 4 years contract, which is valid until 2030. He will be fully backed by the club related to the squad and players transfers.

So we can expect him to have input related to the players transfers. We have seen how bad the management of Chelsea handled the transfers by themsleves, and it's never end with good result.

I think this deal is super beneficial not only for him, but also for Chelsea's side who is facing difficulty to find a proper coach after Maresca.

Hopefully, his system can work with Chelsea properly.
I think Xabi Alonso can do very good things at Chelsea because the players are not as spoiled as Real Madrid's, that is the first important thing. I would also say that there is way less pressure because when you manage Real Madrid, no matter whether the team is good or bad, you must win, there is constantly pressure. It was too much of a jump for him from Leverkusen to Real.

This is a really good decision by Chelsea and the whole management. They brought in a coach with experience and someone who can deliver real results, just like he did with Leverkusen. I think he could've done great things at Real Madrid too, but Real decided to let him go. With him and a few good signings, Chelsea can definitely start hoping for trophies again, and i also think they can do well in europe. I'm happy for Xabi, he was a fantastic player and he's turning into a very good coach as well
Xabi Alonso is indeed a good and well experience coach no doubt, but let's not forget coaches who are better than has also tried in England and fail, remember the Germain Bundesliga is not the same as English premier League, aside Bayern Munich there's no competition there, and if we still talk about Real Madrid, aside Barcelona there's still no competition there also and again he's got some amazing players there, let's not forget here in English premier League even the least team can be a bone to your neck, so I will advise we just keep the hype on a low, and wait for the season to start first.

Godspeed to Rasmus Hojlund but then, he will not be missed in the slightest way by Manchester United fans.

I know how much defending I did on his behalf both online and in real life but truth must be told, he is completely horrible player for Manchester United. Again, Goodluck to him in his new club. They will be in the Champions League competition next season, with Lukaku having a fight with Antonio Conte, he will be the first choice.
Rasmus Hojlund played a full season for Manchester United without making any impact, and there's no way Manchester United would have finish in the top three this season in the Premier League if they had stick with him. i am not against him making his loan spell at Napoli permanent; am happy for him that he was able to earn a permanent deal at Napoli so i am wishing him well through out his stay at Napoli.

In my view with Carrick it's different, Carrick is a manager who could go on to become very strong and successful. He understands football and knows the United environment inside out. They need to give him the freedom to make his own choices in the transfer market and to decide who should leave the team. United have lost too many key players in recent years ? I?m thinking of Garnacho, McTominay and Rashford.

It's about time they changed him, he's not a player who deserves to be on that team, i never liked him, neither as a person nor as a player.
Manchester United have finally taken the right turn and will be really fit for next season, everyone should shake up, they have had an up-and-down season, but now they are in the recovery phase and they have done it in style.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that Enzo Maresca is the top list for the Manchester city job following the news that Pep Guardiola will be leaving by the end of the season. I really didn't see this end of era coming for Pep Guardiola at Manchester city and I would say that fans are not ready for the possible heart break that may follow. I am not convinced with Enzo Maresca especially after his first season because his first season could be like Arne Slot's first season when he achieved a milestone because of the foundation that Klopp left in Liverpool.

If he is able to achieve something from his second season down, then he has fit into the team but I doubt he can achieve near the record of Pep Guardiola at Manchester city after winning 20 titles in 10 years at Manchester city. He has left a footprint that would not be covered by anyone soon.
Maresca mustn't win the same number of titles as Pep did because they're not the same. The most important thing is that, he should maintain the team performance so that, they can be tough as they're and win trophies. Maresca might not be a perfect coach for Manchester City, I believe he will give his best to the team.

Guardiola at City has been an entire era. I’ve gotten so used to seeing him at Manchester City that it’s honestly hard to believe he’s leaving now. If I understood correctly, his decision is final. And from what I know, they have already agreed on Maresca as his replacement quite a while ago.

In my opinion, that could be a very good replacement. Maresca is an excellent coach, his tactical approach is very similar to Guardiola’s, and they actually resemble each other in many ways. What I’m really curious about now is what Guardiola plans to do next. Maybe he’ll decide to take some time off, or perhaps he’ll take charge of another team.

As for Enzo Maresca, I don’t want to be too quick to say he’s the right person to replace Pep, even though Manchester City’s management has already sealed the deal.
In terms of experience, Maresca does have a strong connection with Manchester City. Just like Arteta with Arsenal.

Guardiola has done a great job at City over the last two seasons. He carried out a major rebuild of the squad, and we can already see that this renewed team is capable of competing for titles. And I think that, for some time at least, this will give Maresca a very strong foundation to continue building results and working with the team successfully. Guardiola’s season can definitely be considered a successful one since he has already won two trophies. Of course, it would be great for them to win the Premier League as well, but it looks like Arsenal are not going to allow that to happen.

Enzo Maresca should not be aiming to replicate what what Pep Guardiola has done at Manchester city. If appointed he should focus on building his own legacy and never attempt to do as Pep Guardiola, because I don't think anyone can deliver exactly what Pep has done at Manchester city. I don't have doubt in Enzo Maresca becoming a success at Manchester city, he has worked under Pep Guardiola and won trophies with him.

He has handled one of the most demanding job in the premier league and he delivered trophies to Chelsea even though the club was very hostile. Imagine what he will do with city that always support their managers and give them free will to run the team the best way they see fit.

It is 100% guaranteed that they will do worse. The team that failed to do well with Xabi who won Bundesliga over Bayern Munich, thinking they can do better with Mourinho who has not won a league title in the last 10+ years, is just funny to me.

When was the last time Mourinho won a league title? I think it's 14/15 with Chelsea right? That means it has been over 10 years since he won the last one, and if you look at even further, in the last 16-17 years he has won just 2 titles, one with real and that is why they are hiring him back. Dude has a big name, between 2000's to 2015 or so he was a big name, won a lot of titles, a lot of trophies, one of the biggest names in the world of football. But in the past 10 years? He has become a nobody.

Remind me what Xabi won with Real Madrid? Or if you're interested in a "long resume of recent successes," look at Kompani, who was hired by Bayern. In general, I'm too lazy to even comment on a set of hateful phrases. I don't know what Mourinho did to offend you so much. He is a qualified coach, and he is good at the dirty work (breaking down what is working poorly and dispersing unmotivated players), I am not saying that he is coming for many years and that all of them will be successful, but he will do his job excellently.

Maresca mustn't win the same number of titles as Pep did because they're not the same. The most important thing is that, he should maintain the team performance so that, they can be tough as they're and win trophies. Maresca might not be a perfect coach for Manchester City, I believe he will give his best to the team.
Maresca has learned a lot from Pep Guardiola, so I'm sure he won't face a difficult transition to Man City. The demand for titles is certain, as Man City is one of the teams that consistently competes at the top of the league, so Maresca first season will be filled with the expectation of winning a title.

The news was never new or surprising to me when I saw it that Pep Guardiola is leaving at the end of the season, because I always knew that his time at Manchester City was coming to an end when I heard his other staffs was leaving the club, and when the news of a secret meeting of Enzo Maresca and Manchester City broke out that he was going to replace Guardiola when he leaves, which was one of the reasons why he was sacked by Chelsea, I always knew there was something about that particular news.

However Pep Guardiola have been a grate manager, and his done a tremendous job at Manchester City and no other manager can replicate his achievements, he will forever remain as one of the greatest managers in the Premier League because of his achievements, and also in the World.

Enzo Maresca has to be himself, because I absolutely don’t think he can match the achievements of Pep Guardiola and he knows this as well, when a long term manager leaves a club, and new one comes in to replace him, sometimes it takes time and things will definitely have to change at the club but it is what it is, the club have to move on after him, Enzo Maresca haven’t really had a good record in his time at Chelsea most especially in the Premier League most especially in the biggest stage of football, this presents a new challenge.

Pep Guardiola has won everything with Manchester City, so there are no more targets or ambitions to achieve anything there. But Pep departure will definitely make many coaches lonely, because Pep is the only coach who can always surprise the opposing coach. Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola is an era where the competition is very exciting, hopefully Enzo Maresca can continue the legacy of Pep Guardiola.

It is confirmed and José Mourinho will go back to Real Madrid!

This was published by Fabrizio Romano today

I think that this is a suitable decision done by madrid considering their problems and circumstances. Madrid is facing egos of players and selfishness. How Mbappe tries to control the whole team and how the players play for themselves for their own name rather than playing for the team and contributing anything that a player can not just trying to get goals for yourself. So i think they can solve these problems as mourinho has managed many egos before and he knows well enough to control them.

I trust enzo maresca to do a very good job at Manchester City, because he has been at the club working under pep guardiola while learning the trade, so I believe that it's a very good choice by Manchester City if this news is true.
I know that pep guardiola is a very big shoe to fill, and it's easier to replace a Coach with a bad record than replacing a successful coach like pep guardiola, because everyone will be expecting him to be as successful as him, but I believe that if he is given time and a lot of support at the club, he will be a success at Manchester City.

I think the new coach will need to create an identity for himself and try not to be like Pep who is leaving. What is expected of him as the new coach of Manchester City is that they continue to fight to win the league, and how he is going to do that does not matter to anyone. He has to use his own methods, and not try to be like Pep because that is something he can can never be.

The new coaches joining Manchester City and Chelsea will have time to try to settle into the job during the preseason opportunity. The premier league will be stronger next season.

Next season will be more competitive i guess that because mostly some of big teams handled by young coaches and probably Liverpool too will have new coach because according to the rumour the owners of Liverpool has private meeting to discuss about Arne slot future however if i am not mistaken Enzo Maresca is the former of Guardiola assistant i think both coaches has similar philosophy for the strategies and if Enzo Maresca is really replace Guardiola in Manchester city means there is no big change for this team but Maresca carrying big pressure because i am sure the fans will demanding the trophies just like Guardiola did used to

If you ask me I will say it's actually time for Guardiola to finally take his leave. He's done a lot for Manchester City and has done so well in English football and I believe his performance won't be forgotten but everything that has a beginning surely has an end.

It was obvious that there's no much left to do. With time City seems to be dropping in performance and that's the major reason why they will be losing the league title twice in a row. Liverpool won it last season and now Arsenal will be winning it this season so that shows it's the end of Guardiola's era.

In case you don't know Guardiola personally suggested they go for Maresca when he leaves because he saw some qualities in him. Maresca is really a talented coach and he is very well capable of taking over and doing a good job just as Guardiola.  Maresca didn't fail at Chelsea, in his first season he won 2 trophies, made the team qualify for the champions league and we all saw how improved Chelsea was despite the owners denying him of having a day in signings.
I just can't imagine how he would be when he joins a club that would support him completely..

City is in good hands, I don't doubt that.

Although there is no guarantee that Enzo can achieve what Pep achieved, but at least he is a more realistic choice for Man City now because he was Pep's assistant manager, in the 2022-2023 season.. and with Pep he managed to win the Treble Winner, and he is also quite close to Pep, so Maresca's coaching style is still quite similar to Pep. even though he did not achieve satisfactory results at Chelsea, his coaching career is still quite good. so next season City can still hope that they can achieve satisfactory results with Enzo.

Mourinho is already verbally agreed to comeback again to Madrid as a new coach. It's hard to guess whether this will end for the good or bad. You guys know how toxic Real Madrid's current squad. So i think adding him is just increasing the toxicity in the squad.

His history in Madrid doesn't guarantee him to repeat another success again. My concern is that he has not been in a top of club since he left EPL. It makes me skeptic to have big expectation on him.

Mourinho is a well respected coach, and I believe he will restore sanity to the Madrid squad, even though he will create his own chaos at the club in the future, but the present trouble he is inheriting in the Madrid team I believe he has the ability to solve the problem. My best guess is that either Mbappe or Vini will be sold to try to solve the problem in the team. Mourinho know the assignment he was given by Perez and I have no doubt that he will deliver without delay.
I could not agree more with your statement to get rid off one of Madrid divas from the squad. All of toxicity in the squad was coming from how stingy their veteran are. If Mou wants his club to follow all of his order. He has to sold club's diva to ensure there will be no snake in the squad.

Mou is good, but it's hard when he has to fight his lads who think the player is bigger than the coach or even the club itself. Don't forget he's an outdated coach, though he's historically good.

I don't wanna have big expectation to him in the squad when he has so many type of players he hate most due to lack of work rate, poor physically and they don't have good basic positioning.

It's interesting to see what he will be doing to solve it's all.
