Not going to be actually against this deal just because of the transfer fee yes I am actually looking at the options Madrid have for Dani Carvajal replacement definitely someone that can actually be good both offensively and defensively and I think Dumfries actually tick both boxes just that the major problem I have now is his age which i actually think will be a problem in two to three years time again because he is currently 30 years old already, but the fee will actually be ok if the transfer fee is also not that high it will compliment the transfer and age too.

Aside this option I think Real Madrid also have a great option in Spanish international Pedro Porro who is actually just 26 years of age and still has at least 5 plus more years for top performance left, but the problem is Pedro Porro is just similar to the current Real Madrid right back Arnold which is been great offensively and not good defensively plus Pedro Porro will definitely be having a market value of two times this Dumfries value (40 million), so for now I think Dumfries deal isn’t totally bad

I’m not convinced with this signing from Manchester United, there is so much risk involved in this transfer and I’m going to be positive for Manchester United because his not an expensive signing else I would be very disappointed with the Manchester United recruitment team.

I equally don't see this transfer as a quality acquisition because he is not good and not consistent enough to be signing for real madrid, though he is not that error prone, but considering the quality of player that left the club, in the person's of David Alaba, they should be going for a more quality central defender than konate. I just hope that he improved in the colours of real madrid if this deal eventually goes through, because with his type of performance at Liverpool, he will struggle, since in the Spanish laliga, their attacking players is more gifted and focus on technicality than the English premier League that it's more of physicality that plays to his strength.

I read several local media articles about Real Madrid player transfers, which are certainly a great move as they usher in a new era for Real Madrid next season. Madrid has long been eyeing Ibrahim Konate, We have differing opinions on this matter. In my opinion, he plays well and is very solid in Liverpool defense. It seems Real Madrid is serious about improving its defense especially last season, when Real Madrid defense received a lot of attention due to their frequent injuries. Konate recruitment will improve Real Madrid defense next season.

It's technically not a good idea to have two right backs with the same technical abilities because their are some games their right back cannot afford to be attacking, or climbing up the pitch because if they do, they are going to pay dearly for it, so it's because of that I don't think that Dumfries is the type of player they should be looking for, as long as Alexander Arnold is at the club. They should instead go for a right back that is more balanced offensively and defensively, so that when they can't control a game, they can be sure of their defense, and their defensive line wouldn't be breach from the right back position.

But can Dumfries really handle la liga? It's true that he's been very consistent at Inter, but whether he can cope with the pace and demands of la liga is another question. serie a is a bit less intense than it used to be, so it's hard to know how smoothly he'd adapt.He'd definitely be a solid backup for Trent, but i think Real Madrid should be looking for a younger player for that position, someone who can be a long term solution rather than just a short term option

I rate this signing seven out of ten because Konate is not a bad player, he is a average player and a defender who is very strong and he perform well when the team needs him, many people have forgot that Konate is the reason why Liverpool defense is still strong and he is still the reason why Virgil Van Dijk is still looking good, anyone that watched Liverpool performance in defense this season will know that VVD is not that strong and can defend like before again.

Real Madrid will surely make Konate bounce back to his form and he is still 27 years old who still have a long way to go in football, Real Madrid makes Liverpool lose a player that they can get more than 50 million from as a free transfer and it is now looks like Liverpool is Real Madrid academy where they will go and get a player for free but i don’t blame Real Madrid because Liverpool don’t want to pay the salary that the players want.

If you have observed in recent seasons, that has been the way they buy new players on free transfer when their contract is over with their current club. I think, they started with Mbappe if I'm not mistaken. I love the idea because it makes them spend less since they wouldn't pay for any transfer fee to anyone. I won't even take because Ederson didn't cost Manchester United great fortune or because he isn't a regular main stay in the Brazilian squad to say that Manchester United took a risk to sign him, because last summer transfer window a lot of big clubs bought players £100 million and those players were a regular stay in their national team but thet failed to live up to expectations, sometimes players bought with small amount of money turns out to perform well and over impress in their new club well we will find out what will become of Ederson at Manchester United next season.

Madrid management is probably  interested in this deal now because they do not have to spend a large amount of money for Konate. We don't know how Konate will play in madrid. But he is talented. If he can adapt well with madrid players, he will perform better.

Real madrid still can not  find a new manager. Mourinho is probably going to be the new manager of madrid. Madrid management should give the new manager the opportunity to build the squad. Although they  have a lot of star players in  their squad, they are not strong as  a team. To solve this problem , the coach should be allowed to build the squad as he wants.

I will be scared of this Liverpool Andoni Iraola more than Chelsea's Xabi Alonso side. I prefer Iraola to Xabi Alonso.
Iraola did wonders with a Bournemouth side that wasn't given enough money during the summer, rather players were sold out from the team. Imagine if Liverpool give Iraola enough money in the summer what he is going to achieve. I respect the coach a lot because he knows how to coach very well. Xabi Alonso for me is over hyped.

I do not, I prefer Xabi over Iraola, however I also understand why this could be a good fit. Iraola managed to take already in a premier league team Bournemouth to a highs that they did not imagined could be possible.

So it is already a known person that worked in premier league, it is not some dart in the dark situation, they know exactly what the yare getting into, and if he did that with Bournemouth then imagine what he could do with Liverpool.
