It’s not a bad deal to have signed a player at the peak of his physical, technical and professional abilities for just 20 million. Of course, he’ll only be at his best for three years, but the price is pretty good given how the global transfer market works these days. Inter certainly stand to lose out, whilst Real Madrid stand to gain a lot. Now that Mourinho has arrived, he demands players who fit his style of play, and Real Madrid certainly have the money to provide them.

If they buy him then their immature player buying strategy will be proven once again. They have no money in their pocket and they are struggling with debts. Even they have not been able to pay off the installment for buying old players however they are constantly looking at the market for new forwards, and want to spend billions of money. Their current players salaries are still skyrocketing. But they are still running blindly after flashy big names by ignoring the thought of financial security. I also think that Valverde would be a great fit for City's attacking style of play. And Maresca understands perfectly well how versatile Valverde is and how, as a midfielder, he can help drive the attack forward. If these are not just rumors and City manage to sign Valverde, I think it would be a tremendous boost for the team. On the other hand, I also think that Mourinho will be looking to build a strong squad and is unlikely to want to let one of his key players leave.

Barcelona really need to improve how they do business. Did they really expect to get Marcus Rashford for 13m? I don't see Laliga intensity higher than Seria A because we only have two clubs in Laliga which are Real Madrid and Barcelona, the rest are not up to the task to win the trophy. Dumfries was in Inter and it doesn't mean that they don't have to struggle and win the league. As a matter of fact, Seria A has more clubs that are always in competition for the title race than Laliga. Facing big challenges wouldn't be his problem because he's used to it. This is a very good strategic move because even though some of the names in the defense look luxurious, there are still many gaps there so with the sale of Dumfries and the possibility of Konate (on condition that Perez returns as club president) this can strengthen the existing defense because Rudi, Alaba is quite old while Militao who still looks luxurious is always struggling with his ACL and Raul Asencio still cannot control his emotions so Konate's arrival can be positive here.

Also, I think if Konate comes then his adaptation could be a bit quicker because we know the relationship between Konate and Trent at Liverpool is already established and now in Madrid they just need to set up a little chemistry to make it even better.

Haaland Agent and has family Denys the rumours.  There is not good possibility that Haaland can join madrid.  The new president candidates are doing illegal thing to attract madrid fan . I agree, La Liga isn't that tough, and we see two teams in the title race. Sometimes another team can join the fight, but generally, the quality of teams other than Barcelona and Real Madrid isn't enough.

In Serie A, however, there are 4-5 different teams with the potential to win the championship. Consider the points standings this season. There were very few points differences, and many teams dropped to the lower ranks just because of one or two matches. Serie A is a much more exciting league

I know Real Madrid are not renewing Carvajal's contract but they are losing a right back who was good at defending too and they are replacing it with another extremely offensive right back. And they already have one. This is what I don't understand. Basically they have no right back good at defending now.

Trent A Arnold, who currently belongs to Real Madrid, was not an option for two different coaches during one season. It certainly wasn't a good season for TAA, despite his more injury problems than Trent's game time.
Trent A Arnold is one of the best right backs. Mourinho's arrival might be something that makes Trent happy, but Dumfries is a right-back with different advantages than TAA.
Dumfries is strong, quick and really helps the attack and doesn't neglect to get back down when the team loses the ball.

Yes i do think such price is very reasonable for him. Valvede is a great and very versatile player. He could play in so many positions, and i guess he's gonna be a good option after Rico Lewis. The fact that he has no good relationship with his friends at Madrid after Tchouameni insident.
So i think the better he leaves from Madrid and join City. Who knows he will not have a place in Mourinho's system. Why don't just go to the team that can also unleash his potential instead of playing defensively all days under Mou.

It's my reason to rate him a brilliant transfer from City if they make it happen. We don't know before we try. So let City send their bid to Madrid first.

I think we need to clarify what intensity mean in this context.

Is intensity just about tittle race or about every week performance? Because whether it's about title race or weekly performance, La liga still remains on top here. In the last 10 years or seasons rather, Juventus has won Serie A five times. Not just 5 times but 5 times in a row. The highest Laliga can do in a row is two.

If we want to talk about weekly impressive performance then Serie A come no close to Laliga. You see mid table clubs pressing high like madmen and top teams lose points playing open football. Mid table teams in Serie A pack bus playing against elite teams.

That was a poor statement from Enrique Riquelme, though he was trying to be political. Calling Erling Haaland as a subject in his manifesto was actually not a smart move. Haaland signed a 10 year contract with Manchester City. There was no information about a clause. At least not one that I know of.

Enrique Riquelme's advisors did failed to do a proper research. If Manchester City take the case to the court by all means, Enrique Riquelme will be fined handsomely for his actions.

I wonder what someone that's campaigning on obvious lies would offer to the club if he eventually emerge as the president of Real Madrid. I'm in support of Manchester city pursuing legal actions in this case, because you can't you the image of a player that's contracted to another club for your campaigns without approval. Real Madrid can't just have a quiet election without dramas and looking for who to drag in their own affairs. Madrid fans should better continue with Perez that has brought success to the club and forget this other noise marker.

I love the official statement of Manchester City and I hope they follow it up legally as stated so next that Enrique Riqueime won't try such, there are many ways to Campaign for the Presidency of Real Madrid and not using another teams player that Real Madrid is not currently in negotiations with to deceive fans.

I'm talking about the overall quality of the leagues. Serie a and la liga aren't really on the same level. I follow serie a and i like it a lot because, like you said, there are more clubs competing for the title, but the overall quality is still different. Right now, you can't really compare Inter and Napoli with Real Madrid and Barcelona. They're good teams, but Real and Barca are on another level at the moment. That's just my opinion. Even though i'm a Napoli fan, i honestly think that's the case. Of course, that doesn't mean things can't change in the future

The rumor that has been exist for years is finally happening. Konate reaches verbal agreement to join Madrid. I rated this as a mid signing. Konate has been so atrocious especially with his headers and long balls. I think this is not a good signing.
If he's good enough, Liverpool would hand him a new contract. If they only sign him as a new CB, i think it's over for them even before the new season begins.

Beside that i'm feeling surprised with the change of habit showed by Madrid. They transformed from a club that were always spending gigantic money to sign the super start to only sign the free transfer player.

The idea Real Madrid has about getting Liverpool players, is really not that logical as you have seen with Trent, and I think Konate will not be a good idea either.

He is heavy, and while he is talented for sure, the attackers of the day are very fast, and Konate being decent at everything else, doesn't fix the problems that they would be very slow at defense, and that will cause problems against better teams.

Teams like Bayern and PSG will be much faster and quicker to attack and Real Madrid would not be able to defend.
