But if the goal is like that I think Perez made an unnecessary step because seeing Barcelona's offer to Atletico and the response given even on Atletico's social media we can see that it is only considered a joke so that bidding only to make it difficult for Barcelona which has been complicated by Atletico from the start is clearly not necessary.

Seeing from the latest news at this time Julian Alvarez's release clause is 500 million and that is too much for a player who although good but does not really deserve a release clause of that size.
But it is understandable why Atletico did this because they also still want to secure Julian Alvarez next season.
It’s possible that Perez is making a higher offer to Atletico to further complicate Barcelona’s efforts to sign Alvarez, even though Atletico has already rejected Barcelona’s initial offer. But I see the relationship between these clubs regarding the Alvarez transfer as more political in nature. That’s why we’re seeing so many humorous reactions on social media.

Well, the truth is that Atletico doesn’t want to sell Alvarez to anyone, which is why they set his release clause at 500 million, because Atletico knows no club is willing to pay that much for him. But I’m convinced that with all this drama, Barcelona will likely give up on signing Alvarez and look for other alternatives instead.
It will be quite difficult because Madrid are not used to this kind of drama if Atletico have rejected 150 million then they will definitely look for other alternatives for attackers especially since Perez's benchmark was 150 million euros from the start so more than that I don't think they will be able to do.
At the moment they have managed to bring in Bernardo Silva for the initial phase and I think Julian Alvarez is just a ploy to make the media focus on it but Madrid are looking for players they can bring in so as not to be sniffed out.

As for Barcelona, they won't be able to sign Alvarez because even though there is an offer, I think when they have spent 70 million even though in some reports it is in installments, they will still have difficulty maneuvering with players above 100 million.

However now they brought Jose Mourinho and even they are in intense push to makes their quality better for next season. So that's why they are scouting new talented player for their team like to fill the lacking bridge behind the player.
Bringing Mourinho in does not necessarily guarantee that Madrid will improve. Signing several new players will inevitably require time for them to adapt, and that process can easily take at least one season. But, everything will depend on how Mourinho implements his tactics, discipline, and overall approach to building a strong foundation within a short period of time.

In recent times, we've seen many players who have left Manchester United and started doing better in the respective clubs that they went to. It could also be the same for a manager like Ruben Amorim as long as he has not lost confidence in himself and in his method; it could actually work for him in the Italian league with AC Milan because those leagues are not as challenging as the Premier League, and then he will not be under a lot of pressure as he was at Manchester United, where he had to face the media constantly.

I will agree with that too. The Manchester United job was too big for him also he was a stubborn ass man who refused changing his philosophy.
It will be official soon be official and he will be announced manager with the look of things.
The Italian league is challenging, I have always thought that they fell off just the same as the National team.

My only problem will be Mourinho actually relying on his old tactics alone because in modern football all those things are absolutely obsolete now and at that Mourinho might need to twerk things. I also do not think that the new arrivals so far will actually have a difficult time getting into the team because they are well experienced players who have in the past played in different clubs and leagues.

Confident Ruben Amorim will go on there and smash it with Ac Milan. He is a good manager,  yeah he didn't get to see things workout with Manchester United but he will go to the Italian league and have a good one. I think his pattern of play suits them. I don't understand the negativity I'm reading online about him, but it is all noise to me for real.
I saw what he achieved with Sporting Lisbon and he will go on to have a great one in the Seria A. He will be facing Manchester United during the preseason if he gets signed up by Ac Milan.
His exploits in Sporting Lisbon were the reason why Manchester United signed him. He had to leave the Portuguese club when they were in a good position and moved to Old Trafford. But he had his worst time as a coach at United. But that doesn’t mean that he is not a good coach. There might be other factors that made him perform poorly in the English Premier League. He might end up becoming successful in the Serie A if he is given all the support he needs.

I have noticed the trend of Real Madrid buying good players as free agent where most of us are aware of it but what comes to my mind is why Salah has decided to stay mute regarding the next club he will move to. Eventually he left Liverpool as as a free agent. What's comes to mind is for us to be prepared in case we hear, Salah to Real Madrid. It will be the most shocking news ever. What do you guys think?
I don't think it'll ever happen for three reasons: Salah is already 34 years old, which is not particularly old but it would be quite unusual for Real Madrid to sign a player this old; they just signed Bernardo Silva, who is 32 years old, and he is another offensive player; last but not least, Salah had a terrible relationship with Mourinho back at Chelsea, so I don't know if they'd like to work together again.

This is proof of Real Madrid seriousness in appearing next season. Florentino Perez doesn't want to play around this time. His decision to recruit Jose Mourinho and bring in several players as a transfer opener in my opinion must be seen that he will create a legacy as the most influential Real Madrid president of all time.
The president of real madrid knows that they can't afford to stay trophyless next season, because if that happens, it's going to set an unwanted record of being trophyless for the past three years, something that has not happen for a very long time, if it has ever happened. So the singing of Jose Mourinho shows the seriousness of real madrid this season, because they need a serial winner like Jose Mourinho to put to an end to this trophy drought they have been in the past two seasons.

I believe that more signing needs to be done for them to compete on all fronts, because it's only Bernardo Silva and Dumfries that looks appealing, konate is far from the level needed at real madrid, unless he will just be as a defensive back up that may help the team when injuries strike.

I said does not necessarily guarantee that Madrid will improve.

What Real Madrid really needs is a coach with a character similar to Ancelotti's, someone who doesn't place too much emphasis on forcing players to strictly follow tactical instructions. During Ancelotti's era, the dressing room seemed much more comfortable because he had an excellent relationship with the players. In fact, Ancelotti often gave his players the freedom to use their own instincts and ideas when creating scoring opportunities.

On the other hand, Mourinho is known as a very disciplined and demanding coach. That's why I believe there is no guarantee that Real Madrid will improve simply because Mourinho becomes the club's manager.

According toFabrizio Romano Ruben Amorim will be returning to the seria A to take up AC Milan job. AC Milan had initially terminated Massimiliano Allegri's appointment at the end of the season due to their bad performance and failure to qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season. According toFabrizio Romano Ruben Amorim will be returning to the seria A to take up AC Milan job. AC Milan had initially terminated Massimiliano Allegri's appointment at the end of the season due to their bad performance and failure to qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season. There has been rumours linked to the Crystal palace Oliver Glasnar but it seems Ruben Amorim now has an upper hand in the discussion. I thought when Milan choose Oliver Glasner as the next manager is final decision, Milan even have offering 2 years contract to Glasner several days ago. Seems the owner is not too sure about his decision and decided to find other candidates.
Ruben Amorim is a good coach he only not lucky to choose club and suffering to sacked so, if this rumour is true and Milan is really hire him probably Amorim will be success but do not forget too the pressure will be different and the owner with set high target to him.
However Milan is really required major change if want to compete against other teams such as Inter or Napoli.

Ruben amorin has never been a bad coach in my own opinion, just that the expectation and the quality of player at Manchester United doesn't matches the reality on ground, that is why he is not the only manager that came to Manchester United that has struggled.
I believe that if he is given the opportunity to do his job without interference, he will do a nice job in Milan, but since nothing has been made official yet, we can't be certain of anything just yet, wether he will be the next manager of the club or not. But let's all be confident that this is a good choice if he is eventually hired as the manager of Ac Milan.

No more doubt if AC Milan is such a disgrace. Appointing a manager who have been breaking so many bad records with his previous club. Amorim may be an international level of football coach, but he's not that good.

He's so tenure at MU. He's also so stubborn and so arrogant with any of his decision. He should become their least option. It's disgusting they sign him like there is no a better coach than him available. Even i'd rather see them ended with Ragnick instead of Amorim.

He failed with MU after got gigantic budget support. It's something that Milan can't provide to him, and it's most likely he's gonna fail in Milan too. This is bad transfer.

Support and agreement to bring in a specific midfielder was were Manchester United management doubled down and failed him. Hopefully he will get and meet a supportive Ac Milan management.  He has agreed to all their demands. I honestly thought they wanted Oliver Glasner, what a quick switch that was.

I'm also reading that Micheal Carrick is open to having Marcus Rashford back in, if he does that, that will be the start of his downfall as a Manchester United manager or head coach. That move should be amongst the 1000 ways to die Idgaff!!

I like the way Amorim has improved the way Manchester United play. I think his work there is still somewhat underrated. I can also see that Amorim wants to become Milan's head coach, he has spoken about it and is willing to accept Milan's contract terms. Therefore, I think that among the potential candidates, he is one of the more likely options to become Milan's next manager.

By the way, quite a bit of time has already passed since Allegri was dismissed, and Milan still do not have a head coach. Meanwhile, time is passing, and I think that Milan should not delay this decision, because they still need to prepare the team for the new season.

As for Barcelona, they won't be able to sign Alvarez because even though there is an offer, I think when they have spent 70 million even though in some reports it is in installments, they will still have difficulty maneuvering with players above 100 million.

Barcelona has overcome a lot of financial problems. Even then, it is very difficult for Barcelona to buy players at very high prices. From what I have heard, barcelona was probably ready to spend up to  125/130 million for Alvarez. But Madrid management made a bid of 150 million for Alvarez. Atletico madrid management rejected that too. Spending up to 150 million is really difficult for Barcelona. Even if they spend 150 million, they are not sure that they will add alvarez to the squad. Atletico madrid management is probably not interested in selling Alvarez.

Arbeloa is doing the best for himself. He needs to gain some experience to earn being a manager for a top team. He was brought to Real Madrid in a really unexpected situation before.  Tongue

If he does a good work at Fulham next season then I think he will attract attention from a little bigger teams. Step by step he can earn his place at a top team maybe who knows...

I agree that Ruben Amorim is a top manager. During his time at Sporting CP, he guided the team to two Portuguese league titles, which is an impressive feat and says a lot about his coaching ability. His move to Manchester United didn't work out, but you have to consider that United was a deeply troubled club at the time, and overall, he did manage to bring some improvement to the Mancunians' game. I think he can find success at Milan, even though many of the club's fans have already voiced their frustration over his appointment.

If you know Jose very will then you will know bringing him to the team certainly means Real Madrid will improve. Managers comes to clubs to improve them. Jose is known for success everywhere he goes and I see him succeeding in Real Madrid for the second time.

If you know your football well you will know what Madrid was lacking season are the things they are currently fixing. The midfield, the defense, and a coach the players will listen to. That has always been the problem and Jose will bring all that to the club. For me success is guaranteed in the second tenor of Jose morihno.

To be honest, one of the strongest candidates to become the manager of the Italian club AC Milan is Ruben Amorim, but we all noticed that the PL club Man United did not find the right rhythm under this manager, so the Italian club AC Milan should try to hire another experienced manager. In the 2025/26 season, AC Milan was playing well in the initial stage, but we noticed that they were in fifth place at the end of the season. Maybe in the upcoming season, the authorities of this team want to see a lot more improvement in this team, for which they are looking for an experienced manager, but the Portuguese manager Ruben Amorim has agreed to accept the terms of AC Milan to become the manager of this team.
For the fact that Ruben Amorim failed in Manchester United doesn't mean that he can't do better in another team, after all he was successful at Sporting Lisbon before he met his misfortune at Manchester United. Perhaps, Manchester United wasn't even in good form when he arrived at the club, he wasn't their savior after all. AC Milan is not much in bad condition because if not for the disappointment they faced towards the end of the season, they were literally doing well initially. Amorim is a good coach regardless of his ill-fated performance at Manchester United. AC Milan management should should give him the benefits of doubt to manage the team and see what will come out of him. However, they should also make sure they sign players he can work with in order to achieve what the club expects of him.
Yes, he could not do well at Manchester United but we hope that if Ruben Amorim joins as the manager of AC Milan, he can help improve this club. Actually AC Milan cannot be said to have done very well in the Italian league last season but they are still in their rightful place. Therefore in this context, it seems that since Ruben Amorim joined Manchester United, that PL club was not in great form, due to which he may not have been able to improve that club much, but the Italian club is in a bit of a good form, therefore it can be said that after joining AC Milan Club, he can easily find a way to improve this club and will also be able to take this Serie A club forward, so perhaps this former Man United manager has agreed to accept all the conditions offered by AC Milan.
