EPL teams make so much money from TV rights and other revenue sources but that shouldn't be the reason they should continue to over price players. Take that amount to other top leagues in Europe and you'll get a better player than Tonali

There are too many teams interested in Tonali, so that puts Newcastle in the driving seat , so it’s quite reasonable for them to end up playing hard to get. What’s more , they’ve just received fresh funds from the sale of Anthony Gordon … So you could say that Newcastle aren’t facing any financial constraints, and I would guess they’ll only let Tonali go for the price they want , which is no less than £100million. To be honest, I really can’t get my head around why midfielders are so expensive these days

Casemiro finally agrees to join MLS. He's gonna play together with Messi. I remember there was a rumor Ronaldo tried to persuade him to go to the Saudi, but it seems it's failed. I never expected this to happened like when i was seeing Messi played in the same club with Ramos at PSG.

Honestly, he's still so good at his last season in EPL. It's a bit shocking me he's going straight to the MLS instead of try his luck in the top european league such as france league or serie a.


The only sense reason for him to play at MLS because it's close to his country. So he can reunite with his family anytime.

He has made his decision and I feel he must have well calculated everything and has also seen the impact of what he will be to the team that’s signing him. Inter Milan is not a bad choice to go for, but if they never made an offer or doesn’t want to play in any top European club again, then going to Inter Miami is the best for him. Casemiro is not playing bad and any team that has him as their defensive midfielder will really enjoy playing with him to manage that position well for them. This will be a new challenge for him and I’m sure he’s going to do well.

I saw some news today on Sky Sports and I’m really surprised…it says Ronaldinho has signed for a Serie C club and comes out of retirement at the age of 46!

The club is Ravenna FC but my thought about this is the club is probably going to use Ronaldinho for publicity purposes because he basically too old to offer some really good performances in club football anymore, he’s 46 years old.

I haven’t seen the news elsewhere though, but what are your thoughts about this transfer news and Ronaldinho coming out of retirement almost 11years after his last professional game?

I also read that news on Globo, and to be honest, my reaction was one of shock. I kept wondering if he knows that at his age, his body might not even withstand minor blows and he would be injured for long periods. Maybe money makes people forget everything to earn more money, something that shouldn't happen.

 The guy was a good player, he likes the field and the ball, why not pursue a coaching career? At least he would stay on the field and wouldn't sacrifice himself running around chasing the ball and getting injured. I'm starting to think it won't just be Ronaldinho that we'll see retirees coming out of retirement. Today it's Ronaldinho, tomorrow we'll hear about more players coming out of retirement.

I think this was a really good offer and i dont know why Newcastle refused this offer i think it was too good too miss out. Tonali for me is worth 50 mil max and i think even that is too much for him. I think that for that price you could get a much better player. I think if Newcastle accepted this offer they could do a lot i think. They could have got a few more players that can make a difference and i think that this is a mistake from the management of Newcastle. Newcastle needs much better player to get the top 4 positions and with this team they can only get the middle of the table

50m? It makes no sense. Liverpool priced Diomando who has 0 exp in EPL 100m. So Newcastle is doing it right by not let Tonali leave for under 100m. I think to price him for 50m is just too cheap consider he's 26 years and he has PL exp.
If Spurs can pay 100m or thereabout. I believe Newcastle will let him leave. Anything less than 100m will never get the player.

Yes they seems busy in this transfer window, but let’s not forget that they’re always busy in every transfer window, especially last season they signed so many player, even in January transfer window they were busy and they bought some players, so there is nothing different with them being busy in the transfer window, they can have a good transfer window and still end up having a bad season like Liverpool in last Summer Transfer Window.

However on a personal note, Sandro Tonali moving to Tottenham would be a very bad move for his career, because I absolutely don’t see what he is going to do at Tottenham, especially Tottenham looks like a team that lacks ambition, he should be moving to clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, I don’t think he is going to make this move to Tottenham.

That will be a good move for Liverpool if they get them both but I notice that Manchester United are more interested in signing camavinga next season and I can says he will prefer to move to Manchester United then Liverpool. If Madrid can get the sighing of olise am sure Rodrigo will leave Real Madrid things have not done yet after the World Cup we will see more transfers before the nest season begins.

I don't think so, so it's because of that, he might not be the best player Liverpool should be targeting right now. Rodrigo is more better, and will be a quality addition to this Liverpool team than camavinga that is better as an understudy, than someone that they  should be putting all their hopes on.

In my opinion, such high sums of money shouldn't be paid. I think the price offered for him is high enough. 100 million Euros is a lot of money in the football market now. Such large sums shouldn't be given away so easily. In my opinion, you should only buy the best players in the world for that amount. However, if you look at the transfers made in recent years, in many of them the minimum amount has been at this level. And if an English team wants a player, that player becomes even more expensive.

Camavinga and Rodrygo are both good players, I’d have them both at Liverpool if it were possible. I especially like Camavinga he’s exactly the type of player Liverpool need.

Camavinga and Rodrygo seem to be losing their spots in Real Madrid’s starting lineup. Especially Camavinga, since Real Madrid has just signed Bernardo Silva. This presents a huge opportunity for Liverpool if they’re serious about signing both players. Especially since Real Madrid appears to be considering selling Camavinga and Rodrygo. I don't think Tonali will be successful at Tottenham either. Tottenham wants to build a good squad and avoid the problems they experienced in the last two seasons, but I don't know how sensible it is to pay £80 million for Tonali. Since he rejected £80 million at Newcastle United, it means they'll sell him for at least £100 million. If Tottenham really want Tonali, they'll have to go up to £100 million. Newcastle would sell him for £100 million.

In my opinion, these transfers are quite risky because Tottenham is a team that needs to replace many players. Just signing Tonali won't solve all their problems. The team as a whole needs to change. Therefore, they have to think more economically. They need to make good transfers by stretching their budget. However, spending £100 million here would prevent them from making many other transfers.

To be honest I never thought Diomadé would be worth that amount by now after just joining Leipzig not long ago. He's a talented iplayer and young so I can see why Leipzig still wants to keep him, he will be very useful to them but for me I think selling him will be lot better considering the amount of profit they will make. Liverpool needs a better winger now and Diomadé is a good choice, his performance at the world cup makes it even better for Liverpool to be sure of what they are going for. Paying high amount can hinder a player performance and it has happened with Wirtz and Isak so Liverpool should know better.

I also think it will be a little more than 100 million so highest I think 120 million will be the most Liverpool can offer for him. It's a very good deal for Leipzig and should consider accepting it else they might not get that much if he stays an additional year.

For real, a lot of people including me was surprised to see a club like Liepzig turn down a 100 million for a player who had just had his break out season. Well It business and you always want to exploit the the market. According to reports they turned down the bid cox of 2 reason.

First reason was due the would cup performance, they feel he his creating a lot of waves at the World Cup and they feel they deserve more than a 100million for the player.

The second reason is that, they feel a lot of big team are keeping tab on their player, the likes of Liverpool and even bayern Munich so with that competition they really want to make most use of it.

Liverpool are not preparing to send 115 million euros for the player, they want the deal done as soon as possible, before other competitors will enter the race.

Although the statistics might not show the best performance, there are things more important than statistics for a midfielder. For example, being effective in moving the ball forward is more important than statistics. I believe he has the ability to carry the ball forward. However, I also agree that Newcastle United's asking price is too high. Right now, I think their expectations are unrealistic.

Victor Munoz is not a bad player, certainly can bring a lot on the table, and considering all Liverpool had on left wing was Gakpo, he will most probably be playing at left wing (he can also play at right wing as well and have done it). So reality is that, this is not a bad transfer, not game changer, not like taking this team to a whole another level, it's just a new addition that they needed to increase the squad.

However, they also need to be careful this summer, last summer they already spent so much, so this summer they should be careful otherwise they would be in a FFP risk.

It is natural that young players will be priced higher. However, clubs have been pricing their players too high for the past few years. Since most clubs have a lot of money, they buy players at high prices.

Elliot Anderson is only 23 years old. It's not like he played very well last season. He scored 4 goals and 4 assists. However, since Anderson is still young, Nottingham Forest have given Anderson a price tag of 120 million.
Portuguese player Mateus Fernandes is in the same situation. He is only 21 years old. This is why Newcastle are demanding a high price. Newcastle are demanding 100 million for Tonali. It's extra. 70/80 million is fine for Tonali
