Liverpool seems really determined!  Smiley  Leipzig really surprised me at first by turning down an enormous offer like 100 million euros.

But probably the main reason for that is his being a part of the World Cup now and he is performing quite well at the same time.

But how much more will Liverpool offer? I assume around 110-120 million...
Leipzig can’t win there league title with him so why exactly are they refusing to sell him, they are losing a very big opportunity to make good amount of money from this player, if they should keep him through out next season believe me his price value is going to reduce they should sell him off to Liverpool since the player is interested on going to Liverpool if they should continue keeping him his going to perform poorly and they will have no choice than to sell him and by then his price value may have fallen.
Liverpool should keep pressing higher I’m sure Leipzig will have no other option than to sell him.
If Liverpool should offer 110 million euros Leipzig will surely accept but that money is very huge.

It's not as if Leipzig doesn't want to sell Yan Diomande, they are demanding for €130 million and this could be because Paris Saint Germain is also interested in the winger which is why they raised his release clause added with the fact that he is performing very well at the ongoing 2026 World cup. It could be that they want a move to PSG since they know that PSG will be willing to pay such huge amount because Yan Diomande is young and talented. I don't think his market value will decrease after the world cup so it's just a matter of time and he will sign for either of the clubs who agree to their terms. Though i don't think Liverpool can push further than the €100 million so PSG will likely sign him even though they are yet to make an offer but they have been in talks with his representatives. Liverpool is trying to make a move for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha, though Manchester United is also interested in the player and since his transfer fee is €50 million, it is not too much for both teams to afford.

Damn! How obsessed Liverpool in getting this player. This is reminding me with Wirtz situation. So we may see the same result because Liverpool may send an offer, which is excessing €120 million. Anything less than €120 million won't be accepted. It most probably they have to pay at least €125 million or closer to the Wirtz price for him.
If they're still sending less than €120 million. The better they go back home with their money.

No release clause and long term contract. So is see €120 million may be a least target by Leipzig when selling him.

I just don't understand this Liverpool's obsession with extremely high valued players, how can they falk for this obvious trap, especially from Liepzig, I don't trust all this hyped up Liepzig players. That's how Liepzig started this same campaign with Benjamin Sesko and then they drop below value performance, hope this is different for Yan's case

BREAKING: Newcastle have rejected an offer from Tottenham Hotspur of around £80m for Sandro Tonali 🚨
https://x.com/skysportsnews/status/2068425591661973931

Spurs are very busy in the market so far, they seem determined not to have another terrible season.
Wow, that’s a fantastic offer, in my opinion. But for some reason, Newcastle is still turning down £80 for Tonali. Does Newcastle think Tonali is worth £100? I don’t think Tottenham will raise their offer to £100 for Tonali. Tottenham is indeed overhauling its squad, so they need some good players to avoid another bad season. So, given that Newcastle has rejected such a substantial offer, I’m sure Tottenham will look for other options.

If I remember correctly, the release clause for Alvarez is 500 million, meaning Atletico can easily block any deal. I don't know if Real Madrid is serious about him (or they just want to raise the price for Barcelona hahaha), but the fact that Barcelona wants to pay only 100 million is naive. A top striker at the age of 26 costs more, and many Premier League clubs would be happy to buy him.
A forward of Alvarez's quality age and consistency is rarely available for 100m in today's market Atletico have no intention of selling him cheaply especially with that release clause in place, unless the Alvarez is actively pushing for a move any interested team would likely have to pay a very good amount above Barcelona reported valuation the English league market alone could drives his price much higher I don't see Atletico Madrid letting Alvarez to go that easily.

They write that his agent and he himself are already asking Atletico to let him go. Honestly, I don't understand this - he signed a contract until 2030 just recently, and now he's showing an interest in leaving. What's the point? Didn't he know where he was getting into? This is Atletico where practically no one shines, often the opposite. He should have initially looked for a more interesting option for himself, and not a club where a dinosaur rules and where time has stood still, he should have thought about it earlier.

Laughed out really hard when I saw that report yesterday. I had to go make more research about the deal only to find out that it was a partnership deal that was signed between the club and the former Brazil international mainly for promotional purposes. He'll play in their preseason friendly games but will most likely not play any competitive match. That said, I'm honestly looking forward to watching a live game that Ronaldinho will feature in again.

I am very surprised that Tottenham are willing to pay such an amount of money for a player that is not worth that amount, but when you are in a desperate state as they are, they might do the unthinkable and signed Tonali for £100M when it's very clear that he is not worth the amount.

As you have said, they need to start looking for other options because that's the best thing they should do at this point, since it's very clear that even £80m is pure exploitation, talk less of £100m that is way too much.

The last thing that came to my mind is to complain about the amounts of money that Premier League clubs spend on players. It has been excessive for a long time and if the clubs can afford those transfers, just let them do those transfers. There is a good side about that because all the wealth gets redistributed from the Premier League to other European leagues unless the transfer takes place within the league of course, but many transfers are done outside of the Premier League and that is to the benefit of those clubs that do not have access to these huge financial resources.

I understand the debate about Tonali and I agree that he is not worth the money, but anything, a player or an object is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.  Cool If you put him next to other great players on his position, I think it would become clear quite quickly that he is not worth £100 million, but Tottenham as you said is desperate to change for the better after that last season.

I had no idea about this news at all before seeing your post. But at first, I thought there might be some misinformation about it.

But apparently, this news is true. I’m really surprised. After all, Ronaldinho has been my favorite for a long time. He’s the player who even led Brazil to victory in the 2002 World Cup, if I remember correctly.

Although it seems his signing with Ravenna FC is also part of the club’s marketing strategy, which will certainly put the club in the spotlight. I’m even sure some new sponsors might come on board because of this. Even though I usually don’t like watching Serie C, I might tune in occasionally to watch this club in the upcoming season.

Watching 46 years old guy to play football is still feel so strange. The only question come to my mind is that about how broke he is. If he's still good financially, i don't think he will return to the football after he announced his retirement in the past.

So he's doing this because he's in the need of money. It would much more suitable to see him become a club's coach instead of player.

He does this because he has financial problem.

Leipzig are the problem. The young lad indeed quality and we can all see last season and with the both games he's already played in this competition, but is he really what the valuation slapped on him by Rb Leipzig?! Outrageous I must say.

The world cup performance should be no excuse, if it is as a result of his release clause I'd agree but other than that, I do think he is good enough but not for this particular valuation and more. There will be pressure on him, but not as any player who plays for Manchester United though.

Ronaldinho is returning to football. Although he ended his playing career at Fluminense 11 years ago, Ronaldinho has decided to return to the sport. He will be playing again at the age of 46. He has signed a contract with Italian Serie C team Ravenna. Even though he's 46 and played professional football 11 years ago, I think it will still be enjoyable to watch him. His return to football at this age is surprising. I think he missed the competition.
Laughed out really hard when I saw that report yesterday. I had to go make more research about the deal only to find out that it was a partnership deal that was signed between the club and the former Brazil international mainly for promotional purposes. He'll play in their preseason friendly games but will most likely not play any competitive match. That said, I'm honestly looking forward to watching a live game that Ronaldinho will feature in again.
the news was surprising cause I thought maybe he's broke or he had a sidexbet with someone with the condition of signing for that team if he loses the bet but when I didn't see them mention that one then I understood that he could be coming to help promote the team if he's running a deal with them which requires him to play for some games. Ronaldinho is 46 years old already coming back to play in a preseason game for any team is amazing the teams should be thankful to him because the world will be watching their preseason games due to his influence.

The news was really surprising and I was a bit confused. How can a 46-year-old player still play competitive matches? I was also questioning the quality of that league. Later I found out that it was just a promotional sign. His news has already reached almost all countries in the world and all football fans in the world probably know this news. Even if he plays in pre-season matches, I am very interested to see the old Ronaldinho play. He may not run much but I think his magic feet will still be effective on the field.

I was a bit surprised to read the news that Ronaldinho would reportedly join Italian Serie C club Ravenna FC. However, after reading the full story, he's joining as an investor and shareholder. While Ronaldinho will be officially registered with the club his role is more symbolic, supporting marketing and development projects rather than a return to regular playing.

So, I think this is just a gimmick. As an investor, he'll naturally leverage his popularity for commercial purposes. He's essentially inactive, but he'll be a central figure in the promotion. I also think this is a smart move to boost Ravenna FC reputation, as seeing Ronaldinho back on the pitch seems unlikely given he's already 46 years old.

Liverpool seems really determined!  Smiley  Leipzig really surprised me at first by turning down an enormous offer like 100 million euros.

Liverpool are absolutely crazy. Whatever the reason is, going all in on a single player for such a huge fee is really worrying. We already saw what happened last season when Liverpool signed a highly talented player for a big price, only for him to fall short of expectations in the end.

That said, if this is a request from the new manager, then maybe he has a bigger plan for that player. Still, I can't help but worry that Liverpool might end up repeating the same mistake they made last season

We could look at it as an interesting experiment and not talk bad about him. Having a bad opinion about what someone else wants to do with his life as long as it doesn't harm anyone else is stupid. Let Ronaldinho do whatever he likes to do and if it is playing football, let him play football. It is not negative for you or anyone else and if you ask me, I find it interesting and I want to see whether Ronaldinho, if he can come back in good shape because he became a little bit fat, can still compete in a Serie C team. I think if he is in his best shape possible for his age, he could still have an impact and that is awesome.

The time is running for everyone and whether he is broke or not, I don't know, but if he felt the need to go back on the field and play, I can't see what is wrong with that.

Tottenham are now trying to get themselves back together because we saw that they wanted to buy a Newcastle player for £80 million.m but Newcastle have rejected Tottenham's offer. It seems to us that the Spurs manager is targeting the Newcastle player as the Italian midfielder is a very talented player. Also, note that Newcastle have already sold one of their best players to Barcelona so they may be reluctant to sell the Italian midfielder as I understand Tonali has three years left on his contract with the PL club Newcastle, Perhaps it's correct Newcastle will even keep this midfielder with their team intact to strengthen and balance the team's midfield in the upcoming season.

I think something is actually wrong with their finance manager in that team 😁 because that's the only explanation I can think of when I look at the craziness that occur during their last spending spree and the most annoying part is that all the players they bought for crazy high amount haven't contributed shit to leveling the amount that was splashed on acquiring them and one of the players in particular is Alexander isak, the fee was mind boogling and yet produce little in the Liverpool squad although injury can cover up for some part of his season.

I'd also like to understand how the Liverpool management's brain works when the transfer window opens. They just make mistake after mistake with new signings and then blame the manager. I'm starting to think it's not the managers who make these signings; they want to waste money on signings that won't help the team. Next season, which starts in August, we'll see Liverpool's poor performance. They offered €100 million, thankfully Leipzig rejected the offer, and I wouldn't be shocked if Liverpool increased that amount to something even more absurd.

I think, they are spending blindly if not, they wouldn't go such huge amount of money to sign one player. The funny thing is that Leipzig is even forming for them. Leipzig knows that Liverpool will top up the money which is why they said that Diamonde price is worth that if Wirtz. Liverpool don't need to throw away money any how.
