It appears that Milan intends to build a long term project with coach Amorim. This is evident in Goncalo Ramos transfer value which is around €75 million plus bonuses making Ramos the most expensive purchase in Milan history. This move is quite surprising considering that in recent seasons Milan has often spread its transfer budget among several players rather than spending it on a single player. Now Milan is willing to spend so much on a striker.

The problem here is that they may be building a good team for the wrong manager. If they want to build a team like this, it has to be with a manager who knows what he's doing. We've seen Chelsea and Man United make similar mistakes. If they sign these players and the coach doesn't work out, they would have to fire him and hire another one. This may be detrimental to the project they are trying to build because the players may not fit into the new coach's system.
To me, the coach is the most important part of the project.
Amorim showed what he can do in Sporting, but when he got to a bigger club like Manchester United, he was very awful. I don't know if he can revive himself in Milan, but I don;t think he is the kind of manager you can build your team around.

There's a here we go news for Goncalo Ramos from PSG to AC Milan. This must he a call from his fellow Portuguese Ruben Amorim to convince. It is obvious Niclas Fulkrugg will not be having enough game time to play then this season.

There's a possible chance that Bowen joins Aston Villa from West Ham United. No such quality winger would want to remain with West ham United playing the Championship. It will be a good move, a chance to partake in the Champions League competition with Villa.

Also, the move for the Brazilian Bruno Guimareas from Arsenal has been turned down by Newcastle United. I don't know if there's personal terms agreement with the player and club, but Newcastle has rebuffed offers to see him sold.

Chelsea used to have a lot of players, like 40+ at some point, seems like they do not have that much anymore, but still do have some. Get rid of all the players who are on your team and not on your plans, and you have a good chunk of money to work with?

That's how Xabi can move further, he could just give a list of players he doesn't want at the club, and those players could be sold off, for whatever money, and between money made from selling those, plus not paying those salaries, that means they can get a few star players on the squad.
It's not about the number of player you have in a team it's about the ones that are useful for the team and can help them in the best way possible. Having that many players will even cause confusion for the coach to select his best squad although sometimes it is good to increase the competition in the team.

Just as Maresca did with cutting down the team and leaving out only a few useful to him should be exactly what Xabi Alonso should do, that way it will be easier for him to make selections and have good understanding with the players. He must make a list of useful players else his work will get difficult. Doing so will also benefit the club as it will help generate more funds and also relief them of some salaries.

Como agree deal with Real Madrid to BUY Nico Páz on permanent move, here we go!

Agreement reached as Como will re-buy Nico Páz from Real Madrid. Nico wanted to stay at Como.
Real Madrid will keep control on Nico and mantain BUY BACK CLAUSE.
This is good news for Como fans but not for Madrid fans because from the beginning many Madrid fans expected Nico Paz to return to Madrid with a buyback status especially since this was also included in Arbeloa's long-term plans but it seems that Madrid and Mou did not want to make this a future projection so they let Como with permanent status.
Well, this news is not too ba dfor Real Madrid like the departure of Nico paz can't impact the team quality or not even his move can impact the team even his move will be beneficiary for him because if we look at the current squad depth there is a lot of players in Real Madrid is waiting for the opportunity but unfortunately manger can't tolerate to give them a call because a lot of players is still in waiting. So his move will good for him because there is not more empty place for him to play at X11. So that's why move away from Real Madrid will be good for him.....

I know many youngester is love to play in big club but unfortunately sometimes due to many players in squad depth coach can't determine whether he is trustworthy or not and as result he saty for long on bench and his capacity got rusted.

They’ll hardly be able to sell any of them for what they paid. They’ve spent money on many young stars but have made very few successful transfers... If I were in Xabi Alonso’s shoes, I definitely wouldn’t take over a team like this. In my opinion, even being out of work for a few seasons would be a better choice... Chelsea hasn’t even been in the title race for the past five years. I think this is a chronic problem. And it’s not easy to turn things around because there’s been a chain of mistakes going on for years...

Well the squad might be big, but depth is another story. I don't think Real Madrid has average strong quality within their squad. Here and there they have an outstanding player, but if you go through all the player names and positions, I think they are far from having a complete squad with a very high average in quality. A lot of improvements are possible and it will cost them a lot of money. Getting rid of players like Nico Páz won't really hurt them.

Same thing with Liverpool and Klopp. Some of these coaches need a number of years and not just months.

Will Enzo Maresca cut down the team again, as he's a new coach in Manchester City for next season Because Manchester City has a large one, and that may become overwhelming for the coach.

I have been silently observing the move that some big clubs in Europe have been making over the transfer window and one club that I see that nobody is paying attention to but they're building a team that is really strong under the new coach, is Tottenham; they are making some good moves with De Zerbi.

Indirectly with the presence of Mou in Madrid for next season, the planning that Arbeloa wants to do is lost and replaced with a scheme according to Mou's wishes so this will not have too much impact even though most Madrid fans always expect Nico to return but with Mou's initial breakthrough which immediately brought bernardo Silva of course this closed the gap for Nico Paz.
This is indeed a good decision if Nico Paz stays because with this apart from him who might not be used if forced to Madrid this will also further mature Nico because he is still very potential to further develop himself.
Nico has already been in Madrid and he knows what the competition is like so of course he has thought about this decision from the start because his position in Como will make his popularity increase much more than being in Madrid which is full of competition and he may not be able to compete in it.

Carrick plans to include Rashford in his plans for the new season. If asked whether he should leave, that’s up to him. A player will only play if the coach puts him in the lineup, and the coach must foster competition within the team for certain positions. If a player doesn’t compete and improve his performance, then he needs to find another team where it’s easier for him to get playing time.
For example, if I were in Carrick’s position, Rashford would have to prove himself if he wants a spot on the first-team roster.
This has already happened with Mainoo at Manchester United.

Rashford has moved from the chaos of ten Hag, to the rigid 3-4-2-1 of Amorim, to what Carrick is now shaping up to be. That's a lot. Competition is the standard, always has been. But if Carrick approaches Rashford the exact same way he approached Mainoo, I think he's misreading the situation. Pressure is required to one guy. The other may require some clarification first.

My comparison with Mainoo shows that Rashford needs to do the same, even though Carrick himself wants to include Rashford in his plans for next season. Not everything has to be easy—what I mean is, everything takes time. If Rashford loves his team from the very beginning, he has to fight like a true warrior.

With Ten Hag and then Amorim, everything changed for him. Regardless of whether the two of them were rigid or not before Carrick became the coach capable of leading Manchester United to the top.
Jose Mourinho once made a sharp statement about Rashford—which I found online—saying that Rashford isn’t the typical player like most others.

One side is right, because Rashford hasn't been a part of the Red Devils for two seasons now. If he's going to be part of a team with that history in the Premier League I think, as you said Rashford will have to give his best performance for his childhood team Manchester United.
Moreover, there's a lot of competition at Manchester United for the same position so it's perfectly natural for Rashford to do extra training to improve his performance. If the player returns I think it won't be long before he's back in the starting line-up under current Manchester United manager Michael Carrick.

The arrival of these coaches made Rashford seem to lose his performance even though previously Rashford had always given his best for the Old Trafford-based team. With the arrival of two different coaches at different times Rashford had to leave the team with such history. He now has to seriously consider this. If he becomes part of the Manchester United squad Rashford will have to perform as he did before the arrival of those two coaches. I also think Carrick seems to want to bring Rashford back but it all depends on the management. If the management needs funds to recruit other players Rashford will certainly be an option for sale, not a loan to another team.

Same thing with Liverpool and Klopp. Some of these coaches need a number of years and not just months.

Chelsea management has changed managers many times in the last few years. They have not given  enough time to any coach. If they do that, they will never be successful. Chelsea management should learn from arsenal. They have relied on Arteta. In the first few seasons Arteta was a  complete failure. Then in the last three  seasons they have managed to  occupy the second place in the table. And this season Arsenal became champions. Arsenal  management is in no hurry to change coaches. Chelsea management should help Alonso build a  strong squad by providing sufficient funds.

One problem with Chelsea is that they have a lot of players that are not useful to the team, so moving forward they really need to take out the dead woods and invest the money in few quality players that can have an impact in the team, rather than having bunch 9f players that are not even up to the level of players that should be playing Chelsea.
Xabi Alonso really has a lot to do at the club if he really wants to succeed and I think he has started the right way, because I think he is willing to sell players that are not ready to play for the team and I can say that is a good thing, because you really need players that are ready to play for you if you want to do well as a manager.

Liverpool last season transfer spendings has done more harm than good in the market restructuring. Although Elliot is a class, offering versatility but this price is wild and will actually make things difficult for other transfers including outside the EPL and this is beyond the fact that he is an English player, although that's still the factor here.

It's almost a decade since Neymar breaking move to PSG maybe last season transfer and this current one is another restructuring.
That's how teams made transfers become a lot higher, because they saw the previous transfers and thought their players are worth accordingly. Like when Nottingham Forrest sees that Isak doing absolutely nothing and still somehow worth 150 million, then Elliot of course deserves that much as well. I do not mean Isak failing to be good this season, I mean even back in Newcastle he wasn't a 150 million player and yet LFC paid that much for him, so of course Forrest would want something like that because of it.

One bad transfer, and everyone decides their players are worth a lot more. This won't stop, there is no button to revert back, only way this could go down would be finances of football become smaller, but all indicators show that there are a lot more football fans now, so money keeps going up.

Tottenham seems quite serious about improving its squad. If they manage to get Marmoush, of course, he’s expected to be a solution for the attack.
Man City is also making some adjustments for players who will be kept or who will leave the team. But Tottenham also seems to have some player names they are interested in during this summer’s transfer window.
Tottenham Hotspur escaping relegation for two seasons is the main reason for their serious about improving its squad in this summer transfer window. Roberto De Zerbi has a very good plan in improving a lot of positions in his team. If he could be able to bring the players in his radar to Tottenham Hotspur, Tottenham Hotspur will perform better and will not find themselves fighting to escape relegation next season.

Goncalo Ramos is very good when playing with Benfica and i thought he will be success to playing with PSG but unfortunately that during playing with PSG Ramos seems has been lost his touch even, during last season almost in every games in all competitions he cannot make Luis Enrique impressed and only playing from the bench.

The competition between star players in AC Milan is not too tight which i am sure Ramos can adapt well especially currently Amorim in charge and he know well Ramos. So, i think this is a good transfer for both sides when Milan is really required at least 1 forward player and Ramos also want to playing regular and i am sure he will gets more chance in this team.

I was really surprised that Tottenham Hotspur wasn't that serious after they escaped the first relegation battle season before last, and if they weren't lucky to also escape it last season, things would have gone from bad to worse, so strengthening their team if not a matter of choice, but a matter of must.
I believe that De zerbi can turn things around if all his transfer target are met and he is given a lot of time to work, but am quite positive that they wouldn't find themselves in a relegation battle again this upcoming season.

And this is what many people forget when the prices for players are discussed. It is not possible to simply take the objective market value and then say whether the player is worth it or not. What if a player is worth €50 million in objective terms, but Liverpool, PSG, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Manchester United are after him? It is quite obvious that his price will rise. No club would turn the transfer down because they would have to pay €5 million or €10 million more for a very young super talent. They don't care, they take this risk all the time and they are willing to sign children at the age of 9 or younger. This is what they have to do when all clubs are after a great talent and they can't just pull back and say they let it go.

Diomande hasn't peaked yet at all. He has many years to go to improve his gameplay and become mentally stronger and take on roles of responsibility for a team. He has the quality to find his way into any team I think. It is still early days though, but the clubs have shown in the past that they are willing to pay huge amounts for players with great prospects.
The biggest example of that is literally the latest transfer for him as well. Dude was considered a 1.5 million player, and yet Leipzig paid 20 million for him considering he will go up even more in value, and now he has. That means, when he was bought for 20 million, his value wasn't 1.5 million at all and it's just that some website assumed it was and the website is wrong.

Transfermarket has been famous about mistaking players value, because it's literally depends on player and his worth to the club, not what a website thinks. Like Messi is considered 15 million right now, do you think any team in the world could pay 15 million and get him from Miami? Of course not. Hence that website has been wrong from the start.

Yes that is indeed true that those values are very often wrong, but if you have a good idea about football and players, you can usually quickly figure out for yourself whether that value is about right or not. I think I once read about how they value players. Besides giving their own rough estimate, I think they have developed a certain matrix and calculate it based on performance markers, but as you said it can still be completely wrong. I think they weight age too much and that is why Messi is only 15 million, but it's right it makes no sense as nobody would ever get him for that price. And it seems to be pretty static because if a player scores five goals in two matches at a World Cup, you would think that the price changes.

Leipzig has a history of discovering players that explode in price soon after they bought them. I think that is one of the core qualities Leipzig has as a club and they put a lot of emphasis on scouting. As you can see it is a profitable business once you are good at it and they have a reputation for making players go through great development, hence many young players are willing to give it a shot there even when they know they won't be playing for titles. Or not only Leipzig, but RedBull clubs in general. Salzburg is the same thing, but the league is not as attractive.

It depends where you are actually because in the Premier League most of the clubs are rich enough and they are not as dependent on discovering young talents as most other clubs are from other leagues.

My take is, not every player can shine in every team. Some players are meant for a particular team and in a specific environment or settings. At Benfica, there's no serious competition for him and the expectations aren't that much, at PSG there are options when he doesn't perform. If you don't perform in a limited number of games, you get dropped, so the expectations are high here because the fans demands the very best from you. I don't think an average player can perform in such a condition, my take on this though.

I was lost last season when Chelsea started buying players continuously till the transfer window closed. I thought, they will use it as an opportunity to have enough players on bench in case of injuries but to my surprise, these players didn't even add any impact to the team performance.

It's better to have few quality players than having bunch of average players that cannot add much value to the team.
