I was lost last season when Chelsea started buying players continuously till the transfer window closed. I thought, they will use it as an opportunity to have enough players on bench in case of injuries but to my surprise, these players didn't even add any impact to the team performance.

By the way, if this transfer is realized, it will be the most expensive transfer record for AC Milan, while we know most of the clubs from Serie A are experiencing financial problems.

Maybe you've mot noticed that the transfer market is inflated, the price of players that didn't even create much impact in their team is also on the rise too just cause they're in a big team, that's why someone like Goncalo Ramos is tagged €70 million when he's not worth close to that, it's crazy if you ask me.
 
 I think PSG is trying to recover somerhing close the €80 million they sign him for that's why tagged him 70, but that's too much, given that his performance really declined and he's not a regular starter in PSG, it would be fair enough if they reduce it to 50 million but that would be depending on how serious Ramos is eager to leave.

A very good distinction between a coach and a regular fan viewer is that a coach can see something in a player that a fan of viewer may not see So I will not criticize Amorim's decision to want Goncalo Ramos because it is the same way Mikel Arteta wanted Noni Madueke from Chelsea, and at the end of the season we saw how useful he was in turning up for Saka when Saka was unavailable or unfit. Goncalo Ramos is still young and has excellent individual qualities, so it's understandable that his price tag is high. I'm quite happy about this transfer because, from what I've seen, it seems like AC Milan management is truly supporting Amorim in building this team. Signing Goncalo Ramos for a high price is a clear sign that AC Milan management is serious about building this team.
As for Goncalo Ramos, I'm quite optimistic that he will be able to contribute to AC Milan's front line.

I believe it's better for the management of the club to take their time in choosing a player who will replace Casemiro, this is far better for them than for them to rush into making the mistake of choosing the wrong player.

I personally see Carrick as a very ambitious coach and he wouldn't want a player who will not give him what he wants, it's often said that the patient dog eats the fattest bone, i am not in the business of football, them that are there know best how they go about all of this things, so I totally believe that the Manchester United's new coach working with the management will make the best decision for the club, Carrick has alot to prove to the world, not just in Manchester United, how be manages Manchester United might be the deciding factor for where his career as a coach goes from where it is currently.

Breaking a record transfer fees with Elliot's transfer is not enough for City. They're now pursuing Ayyoub Bouaddi from Lille. So they are signing Elliot for Silva's replacement, while they're now signing Ayyoub Bouaddi to be Rodri's replacement. What a perfect move.
I think this signing makes sense because the uncertainty over Rodri's future. He can leave from the club anytime. So club has to prepare his replacement for now and for the future.

I totally agree with you, and that is why I kept on wondering why they went for less than average players and expected a different result. Even with the arrival of Xabi Alonso, if they don't improve on the kind of players they sign, things will definitely not go right with them, Xabi will no do magic, he can only make do with what he has. Chelsea should be ready to open their purse in signing experience and quality players this coming season.

For real these same question have been on all football fans mind. What did Milan really see in Goncalo Ramos to spend a whopping 80 million euros on. There are far better strikers that will even cost less. I was thinking after that awful season milan had they would do better in signing players but instead I’m still seeing the same thing happens again by the sporting directors.

I don't know why but I feel Chelsea problem is probably way beyond what we can even see because looking at the whole set up we can see that they got some players and that can help although a new manager coming to scene will be given a lot of opportunities to make things change in the club and one of those move is to actually sign a lot of players that can help implement his style of play.

I don't know why but I feel Chelsea problem is probably way beyond what we can even see because looking at the whole set up we can see that they got some players and that can help although a new manager coming to scene will be given a lot of opportunities to make things change in the club and one of those move is to actually sign a lot of players that can help implement his style of play.

Chelsea's  problem  started  the moment  the management  changed, after Roman Abrahamovich left, the new owners came with a different  project. They are more concern  about businesses  and not about the progress  of the clubs, I don't think the love the club  either, unlike  Roman who had great passion  for the club. They were more concernd about  signing  young  Tallents just to resale  them and make profit  without  bothering about   how it will affect the club performance. Now the club didn't even made it to any European  competition  and some important  players are leaving, it's even more concerning  that an important  player like Mac cucurela  left and coming  to the media  to say he will want another  important  player  (Enzo Fernandez)  to join him at his new club    this is a total  disrespect  from cucu and Chelsea  should  be more worried  about  the kind of players they are grooming.
